College Kings 2 - Episode 1 News

This Summer, Episode 6 “Summer Showdown” is coming to blow all expectations in a grand finale for the ages with everything an ending needs, wild partying in Mexico, sexy cosplay babes, and the fighting tournament that lives in the heart of every true SVC student as the pinnacle of the college experience!

Right now, we’re confident that Episode 6 will be ready for launch in Summer. Next month, once we’ve gotten further with development we should be able to pin down an exact release date, so keep an eye out for that update!



To kick things off, the gang decides to blow off some Steam down in sunny Mexico. Shenanigans await in ancient Aztec Temples, and the local girls are looking good in Mexico’s tequila-fuelled party-scene. Don’t think the girls of SVC can’t keep up though, as Chloe has some ideas on spicing up your fun in the bedroom!



Don’t let the mother of all hangovers slow you down though, because it’s time to get your cosplay on and hit up Nerd-Con, the biggest pop-culture event of the year! Spend time with your friends and find out which girls are willing to get down and nerdy in cosplay. (Hint: Penelope)



Once you’re back from Nerd-Con, it’s time to redistribute all your points back into strength as the Summer Showdown finally kicks off. Have you been training? Will you be able to stay on your feet and come out on top at the biggest fighting event of the century? Do you have what it takes to become a true… College King?



And more importantly, do you have enough stamina left for a number of girls showing you what the year was really all about?



Moving over to the production side of things, we’re currently about 60% through the rendering process, and writing is almost entirely complete. The team is working hard and making solid progress and so right now Summer is our target, with an exact date to come next month.

We’ve been talking to the community and listening to feedback which we’ve been implementing into the finale. If you haven’t quite been able to convince that one girl you’re crazy about to get serious with you, maybe Episode 6 will be where you can put it all on the line and convince her to give love a chance? It’s all come to this, so give it everything you’ve got!

Achievements. Everyone loves them. The pride and joy of any Steam profile. However, we've been made aware of several achievement issues that have been spoiling your College experience. While we're hard at work on Episode 6 and other College Kings updates, we want to let you all know we are aware and are applying some fixes to the most pressing issues:

Achievements in General:
We love nudity. We love nude achievements a little less. EP4-5's missing achievement images will be added back in over the weekend.

Episode 1: Taskmaster:
An old classic. Unfortunately, several updates to the game have made this achievement impossible to get. As a short-term fix, we'll be simplifying the achievement, so it'll look like this:

Clear half of Imre's checklist (Episode 1).

We'll restore the achievement to its original version once we've fixed these issues.

Episode 2:
Shots For Everyone:
A slight coding issue made what was meant to be a simple achievement significantly harder to obtain. We've fixed the issue and updated the text:
Serve shots to everyone (including yourself) at the Pool Party (Episode 2).

Girlfriend Collector:
Some misleading text and incredibly strict requirements meant that this achievement was nearly impossible to obtain. We're relaxing the requirements and clarifying the text to this:
Make Lauren and Penelope your girlfriend in the same day (Episode 2).

Episode 5: Great to Hydrate:
Turns out, MC doesn't know how to count properly. You can now obtain this achievement.

Future Updates:
With all of the achievements you can earn, it has occurred to us that Steam doesn't really specify which episode an achievement belongs to. We're going to be cleaning up the achievement text to clarify the episode where you can unlock them. We'll also be clarifying some of the more vague descriptions, and seeing if there's any other achievements that can be simplified.

Hey everyone, I’m very excited to announce the official CK:2 In-game Walkthrough! For a while now fans have been asking for this, and we’ve been working hard in the background to deliver it.

To enable the in-game walkthrough, do the following:

1. Launch the game
   
2. In the main menu, select Settings
   
3. At the bottom-left you will see an option for 'Walkthrough'
   
4. Select 'On'
   

The in-game walkthrough is now enabled.



So what does this walkthrough do? Maybe you’re struggling to say the right thing and connect with a new girl, the in-game walkthrough essentially shows you the outcomes of your choices in dialogue, most importantly, how the other person will react. This in-game walkthrough is designed to take the guesswork out of building your ideal path in college. Personally, we think it’s more fun to go in blind on your first playthrough, but this walkthrough is available to everyone!

We're hard at work on the grand finale of College Kings 2. Right now it's looking like we'll be releasing the episode on Steam in the late Spring or early Summer of 2025, development is a very fluid thing so we can't be more specific than that just yet, but as soon as we're able to be more precise we'll make sure to inform you all accordingly!

We are happy to show off some renders we've been working on, little teases for the next episode which don't give too much away. But they do raise deep questions that arise in Episode 6 like “Is Chloe secretly a parkour expert?” and “Do ancient Mexican temples employ fire safety officers?” among others.

Everything we’ve been working towards since beginning with the original College Kings back in 2020 is coming! The grand finale is here! We are so proud as a team to announce that Episode 6 “Summer Showdown” will be coming in 2025 and will be the FINAL episode of College Kings 2! (More on the next CK game below.) The store page has officially gone live so wishlist now to be notified as soon as it's out!



We’ve listened to fan feedback from the double episode. You’ve all been so supportive, and the majority of you have told us to take our time with the next episode, to ensure a smooth final product on launch. So rest assured that we’ll be pulling out all the stops to make the finale unforgettable!

“Summer Showdown” is going to be an episode of epic proportions. From wild spring break adventures in Mexico, to checking out cosplay chicks at California's biggest Comic Convention, there's a ton of story to uncover and explore. But of course, the biggest event will be the esteemed Summer Showdown itself. Everything you’ve been training for has been leading to this moment. The Summer Showdown is finally upon you! Will all your blood, sweat, and tears be enough to take home the victory for your frat? Do you have what it takes to be crowned the ultimate fighting champion of SVC?

Of course, a fighting tournament is one thing, but we all know what College is really about… hot chicks! Longtime girlfriends looking to spice up bedroom activities, nerdy girls looking for a quickie, and a couple of threesomes to share the fun! Plus, with the end of CK2 approaching, you can expect to deepen your relationship with your favourite girls, or explore fun times with others.

You might be worried that this is the end of College Kings! Fear not, it isn’t. We’ve already started concepting a new CK game with the goal of giving you guys a chance to experience the characters like never before. We’re planning on taking College Kings to a whole new level, with more player freedom, more immersive sex scenes and significantly more content to explore. We are incredibly excited with where CK is heading and can’t wait to share more when the time is right.

We’re so grateful for each and every one of you following along the CK2 journey, it’s had its ups and downs, but it's been an unforgettable adventure for the CK team and we’re so thankful for that! It's because of our amazing community (the best in the industry) that we've been able to tell this story. Whether you're an Ape, Wolf, or somehow a Frog, we'll never be able to truly repay your unending support, but we'll do our damndest to give you an episode unlike any other.
