Emergency Server Maintenance Has Begun 2024-03-10

Heya Realmwalkers,

We’re starting our emergency maintenance on Nightingale servers.

You may get kicked from the game in the next 15-30 minutes, and will not be able to login or play while servers are down.

We will provide an update when the work is complete.

This maintenance is to mitigate reports of issues with Realm persistance.

As servers will do additional checks for persistence, you may see additional ‘Travel Errors’ after this update. If you receive this error, please try again after a couple of minutes.

If you have lost your Respite Realm’s progress, please fill out this form to request a roll back to your previous Realm state: https://forms.gle/eKbTk3nGFGvnKKRJ6

Our team continues to investigate further fixes, thank you for your patience in the meantime.

NOTICE: Regarding Players Losing Respite Realms

Hey folks,

We understand that some players have reported losing their Respite Realms in the last 24 hours.

In an abundance of caution, we have rolled back yesterday's backend server patch and are investigating further. This may mean that issues with falling in The Watch may occur again.

If you lost your Respite Realm as a result of yesterday's patch, to roll your realm back to how it was 24 hours ago, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/eKbTk3nGFGvnKKRJ6

We will update you as soon as we know more.

The Art of Nightingale

Greetings Realmwalkers,

As you may have seen from the sprawling 130+ page digital artbook (available for purchase on Steam), the world of Nightingale was brought to life by the team of incredibly talented artists we have here at Inflexion Games. Now that we’re a couple of weeks from launch, the art team has begun to share their work online, so it presented a perfect opportunity to spotlight their amazing artistry.

Our environment team brings a handcrafted approach to creating worlds that feel like a natural and wild environment, as well as one that has been lived in and stewed in a greater canon.

Nightingale CEO "not satisfied" with launch as player count plummets

Nightingale is one of the prettiest survival games I've seen, yet its launch via Steam Early Access has been met with a rather tepid response from players. Released just over two weeks ago on Tuesday February 20, the Nightingale player count has fallen to just over one fifth of its launch peak, while Steam reviews sit at a 'mixed' 61%. Inflexion Games CEO Aaryn Flynn says he is "not satisfied" with parts of the launch, saying, "there's much more to do."
