Devlog 1.0

Hello farmers, šŸ‘‹
As you've probably recently learned, the 1.0 update is fast approaching and will be released on May 22, 2024.

Today, we're going to unveil the new features that will be added in this latest update as well as the major changes that have been made since the beginning of Early Access.
New Features in Version 1.0
šŸ“ New Story Missions
For the upcoming update, we've decided to enhance the narrative aspect to help players explore all the available mechanics in the game, providing them with a permanent goal beyond contracts. Additionally, we've also taken the time to improve some existing dialogues.

šŸ—¹ Objective Board
After reaching a certain farm level or completing all the main story objectives, you'll gain access to a board containing additional endgame objectives to accomplish if you're up for another challenge.

šŸ’‡ Character Hair Length
With the next update, it will be possible to choose between long hair and short hair for your character, regardless of whether you decide to dress them in overalls or a dress. New hair colors have also been added, such as green, gray, and grape.

šŸŽ® Steam Deck Verified
We've previously announced this on our social media channels, but it's worth mentioning again here! We're delighted to inform you that Sunrise's Order is Steam Deck certified.
Improvements Released During Early Access
For this section, we'll focus on the most significant additions that have significantly impacted the game. (Otherwise, this announcement would never end šŸ˜…) We've selected the 10 changes that deserve everyone's attention.

To discover all the additions, modifications, and fixes made during Early Access, we invite you to check out our previous posts.

šŸ“¦ New Animazon Subscriptions
In response to community feedback, we've added 2 new subscriptions to facilitate package tracking. The first subscription allows you to pinpoint the exact location of the package on the map. The second subscription offers you the option to have packages delivered directly to your home.

šŸ¶ Dog's Utility
In exchange for a bone, the dog will indicate a package you haven't found on your island yet. If the dog doesn't eat the bone, it means there are no unclaimed packages.

šŸŒ³ Skill Tree Overhaul
After thorough analysis, we've decided to rebalance the skill trees to ensure that each skill point has a significant impact on your progression. Some less relevant skills for advancing in the game have been removed, but rest assured, new skills have replaced them.

šŸŸ The Pond
We've taken the time to improve the pond. We've enhanced the user interface to provide more information, making it easier to use. Additionally, we've also included a more comprehensive tutorial to explain the pond mechanics in detail.

āš’ļø Construction Menu Modification
The way the construction menu functions remains similar, but the most significant changes are in the user interface, aiming to make information clearer and easier to find, thus facilitating its use.

šŸŽ’ Inventory Interface Modification
We've revamped the inventory interfaces. These changes allow you to navigate more easily through your chests and inventory, as more items will be displayed simultaneously.

šŸ’§ Quality Watering Can
High-quality watering cans can water multiple plots of land simultaneously. This change will save you time in your day as a small farmer.

šŸ“… Calendar
The calendar has become a valuable tool thanks to the new information it provides. "What did I order earlier? Have I received all my packages? When do my subscriptions end?" All these questions can be answered directly on the calendar.

šŸ—’ļø Tutorial
During development, we added the tutorial menu. Over 27 tutorials are available for you to read to maximize your experience on Sunrise's Order.

šŸ“Š General Rebalancing
Throughout the development of Early Access, we rebalanced a multitude of mechanics to ensure that players have a smooth progression in the game. We've modified the value of some products, the production cost of crafting items in factories, the amount of experience required for professions, and many other elements.

That concludes this post. Once again, I want to thank our community for joining us in Early Access. A big thank you as well to those who plan to embark on the adventure with us for the 1.0 update.
