Outbreak: Shades of Horror Patch 2 Released.
[p][/p]
This regular update includes:
• [p]Massive reduction in runtime memory usage through rearchitecting how player characters, and assets related to them, are loaded and used across the game. You will see this reduction in all levels, including on the Main Menu. Users running on higher video quality settings will see far greater reductions, but all users will see significant memory savings.[/p]
• [p]These memory savings allow users on low end machines to run the game more stable, and for mid-range and high-range users, set graphics quality settings higher without exhausting their video memory pool on their GPU.[/p]
• [p]Users should not notice any difference in game graphics quality, but there may be a slightly longer period of time at scene load, or when a player joins a multiplayer game for a first time. In most cases, any loading should be instantaneous. or near-instantaneous.[/p]
• [p]Fixed several issues where players would not render with the correct textures and materials that they should in multiplayer games only.[/p]
• [p]Fixed an issue where sometimes the fourth player in a multiplayer game would have incorrect hair.[/p]
• [p]Other minor performance, gameplay, and balancing fixes across the title.[/p]
