- Added 9 new Cards:

• Engorge - affects max hp

[h2]New Gun Ammo UI: [/h2]
- Gun ammo ui on the right side of the screen has been overhauled.
- Added reload animations to each gun
- Bullet count visual now matches the max ammo in the code.

- Completely removed a thing that would cause significant lag around the mid-late game.

- Holding down either the right or left click will continuously fire the gun when it is ready to fire.

- Fixed spawner Script breaking when the timer is at 20 minutes.
- Fixed axe weapon firing towards the same spot.
- Fixed turrets one-shotting bosses.

- Turret weapon no longer one-shots enemies.

- Removed charged bullets.
- Removed two really old cards that were replaced by the new buffs.

I added a fade out of large objects that are currently blocking the player's sprite, as well as made some changes to damage and weapons.


- Added a script that fades out large objects blocking the character's sprite.
- Added the ability to use the scroll wheel on the map select.
- Added slow to the thorns weapon.
- Added a 0.5sec 1 damage tick to the thorns weapon.

- Expanded shells text box, to avoid it popping in and out of existence.
- Fixed time not stopping on survival of a round.
- Fixed enemies still being able to hit the play while dying.

- Zoomed out the camera.
- Lowered early enemy amount.
- Changed the way damage is applied from weapons to enemies.
- Upped Turret weapon damage.
- Changed the noise bugs make on death to shift it into more of a background sound.
- Lowered drop rate of the scarab beetles to shift towards the originally intended drop rate.

I added 2 new weapons, and a map, as well as I fixed a few things, and did some balancing of weapons plus other stuff.



[h2]Thorns Weapon[/h2]
[h3]Spawns a little thorn bush under the player every x amount of seconds.[/h3]
[h2]Turrets Weapon[/h2]
[h3]Spawn turrets around the player that fires at enemies nearest to itself.[/h3]


The River is a vertical map, which currently generates infinitely up and down as the player moves.



- Added a scrollbar to the Map Select.
- Added visual footstep particles.

- Stopped gun from firing when clicking on menus and UI elements.

• - Lowered the amount of enemies that spawn, by 10.
  
• - Raised time between spawning enemies by 30%.
  
• - Lowered Bloom effect in the game.

  • - Nerf Glue Launcher ---> lowered damage by 2-3

It's been a while since I updated the game. There was about a 1 month period where I didn't really work on it, but in the most recent month, I've gotten some things done.

Some nice polish to the cards when the player levels up. So now when leveling up, the cards slide in and then flip over, rather than just popping onto the screen instantly, and they now have some sounds that play on hovering and when they flip.

Another larger thing added is the addition of audio and visual feedback for when the player is hit. before there really wasn't any way to know you were hit without looking at the health bar. But now the player flashes white when hit, there is a screen shake and a little grunt sound effect.

So the game is getting there, and we making progress. I'm a solo dev, so it's a little slow but I also work on a bunch of things at the same time. If you want to see what I'm up to, you can check out my game dev Youtube Channel, I post videos of my progress most days of the week.
