Luna Abyss Demo Patch Notes

• New demo area “Scourge Crater”, which includes a boss fight, new playable level, a new weapon, abilities, and enemies from the depths of the abyss.
  
• "Sorrows Canyon" demo has been shortened slightly to its original length.
  
• Fix to community reported issue for mouse sensitivity slider not functioning as expected.
  
• Updated SFX when navigating through settings menu, as well as improvements to general gameplay SFX.
  
• Additional difficulty settings.
  
• Story mode.
  
• Traversal skip mode, an optional mode for more accessible playing.
  
• Multiple game options and sliders to increase or decrease difficulty.
  
• Multiple game options and sensitivity sliders to customise gameplay experience.
  
• Ultra widescreen support.
  
• The Codex has been updated to include contextual images for each entry.
  
• Controller support for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch Pro, Switch 2 Pro controllers.
  
• Added language support for Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese (Traditional), Japanese, Korean and Russian, in addition to French, German, Spanish and Chinese (Simplified).
  

For those who have played the old demo, you can enter the new area from the main menu. However, the older content has been improved, so we would recommend you start from there!

Ever since its initial reveal trailer and my brief time with its demo, I have been eagerly awaiting my chance to play more Luna Abyss. My prayers have seemingly been answered with a new extended demo that Kwalee Labs has dropped for preview purposes.

I’m happy to report that Luna Abyss is still a lot of fun to play, while its extended demo offers a better vertical slice from deeper within its single-player FPS campaign. Upon booting up, I was given the option to play the Sorrows Canyon level and Scourge Crater, a brand-new level from further within the game. As an earlier build, Sorrows Canyon is already available to play on Steam via a free demo. I will only briefly touch on its contents before moving on to the newer material.

It has been a long time coming, but we are thrilled to be able to begin sharing this journey with you again, and we thank you for your patience! A lot of time and love has been put into this game behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to share more with you soon.

In case you forgot, Luna Abyss is a single player story driven action-adventure with fluid platforming and bullet hell combat. You are a prisoner sentenced to explore a derelict megastructure that sprawls deep beneath the surface of the mimic moon Luna. You are tasked with recovering forgotten technology from within the Abyss and the lost colony it consumed. Every move you make will be overseen by your artificial prison guard named Aylin.

These centuries-old ruins are alive with maddening echoes, insinuating secrets of the once prosperous city of Greymont and its terrible fate. The Scourge. The tenets of the All-Father. The choir of the Collective. The voices of the Abyss call to you; they whisper strange missives...
