[h3]1. Announcing regular season[/h3]

■ S1O1 (STAGE 1 OPERATION 1)

  • The first regular season of Veiled Experts is finally here.
  • All agents' levels are reset for the regular season.

This season is the [E-ster] operation in Stage 1, and the season is organized around the concept of E-ster in the Young sik & E-ster story arc.

OP1. Codename: EZ Season consists of 50Lv.
The Battle Pass level will increase by the same amount as Agent experience earned through gameplay.
Players can earn additional Battle Pass experience by completing daily challenges.
As the player level up in Battle Pass, the types of rewards the player can redeem for tokens increase.

Battle Pass Token

Increasing the Battle Pass Lv does not immediately earn the player rewards.
The players earn tokens through challenges and character buildup, which the players can use to exchange for rewards of their choice.
Battle Pass tokens are seasonal and are reset when the season ends.

■ The RP model for the top tiers of ranked match has changed.

  • Adjusted team wins/losses to be more heavily weighted, and reduced the amount of RP each team earns in a tie

■ Other changes

  • Changed the initial coin reward for Team Deathmatch from 1000 to 2000.
  • CAN Drone price changed from 1000 to 500 coins.


[h3]4. Introduce “Tie Breaker”[/h3]

■ If the final round ends in a tie, a vote will be taken to determine whether to proceed to a Tie Breaker match.

■ How the Tie Breaker Works

  • Offense and defense are randomly determined
  • It's a single round and the reward coins awarded are randomized between 3000/6000/10000 coins.


[h3]5. A new map: Viva Station[/h3]

■ A new map "Viva Station" has been added.

  • Viva Station is playable in all modes.

■ Map Features

  • Viva Station is structured as a series of main paths leading from the train tracks to the large train station building.
  • The area with the train tracks has a lot of exposed space, so make sure to move safely through the train car or building as quickly as possible.


[h3]6. New Agent: E-ster[/h3]

■ A new agent, E-ster, has joined the roster of VX agents.

  • E-ster is a nimble, silent agent of movement, and once he's set his sights on a target, he never loses it.

[h3]7. A new weapon: M250[/h3]

Weapon Specs

Design intents & Concept

The existing M249, despite being a squad support weapon, uses a 5.56mm round for mobility and reliability, with clear limitations in terms of damage and range.

The new M250, on the other hand, is a fire support weapon developed to use the 7.62mm round, which provides high damage and a long effective range.

In addition, a dedicated silencer reduces the sound of the round, allowing for reliable support from the rear.
Due to the nature of the round, some sacrifice must be made in terms of trigger reliability and aiming speed.

Therefore, the M249 is effective in operations that value mobility and stability, while the M250 is suited for fire support missions that require high firepower.

[h3]9. Agents Balancing[/h3]

■ Signature capabilities for the agents have been significantly improved, with some agents being reassigned signatures that match their original agent settings.

[h3]10. Add and improve game systems[/h3]

■ Apply the security solution “Battleye”
  • BattleEye is applied to enhance the security credibility of Veiled Expert.
  • If a player has banking and financial security programs such as keyboard protection, etc. running, the game may slow down, so please run the game after exiting.

■ Added more motions for CQC

  • CQC can be set as each player’s desired motion in the outgame (Lobby > Agents > Customization > CQC).
  • Various CQC motions can be obtained through the Battle Pass completion.

■ The penalty for AFK (being away from) is increased.

  • If a player is playing while alive and away (no action), The player will receive a warning after 40 seconds.

  • First warning 40 seconds after the start of the round → Forced exit after 40 seconds (considered as a desertion.)

■ Improves team deathmatch backfill

  • If a user is unable to enter, the AI will enter instead.

[h3]11. Improvements in the outgame UX/UI[/h3]

■ Battle Pass information has been added to game results. The Battle Pass information includes the following information

  • Earned and Possessed Tokens

  • Completed and ongoing Battle Pass challenges

  • Battle Pass Levels


■ The challenge levels will be applied to the newly introduced Battle Pass.



[h3]12. Some level balancing improvements[/h3]

■ ALTA CITY C area has been blocked because it has an unobstructed view of the snowy area from the top rooftop and is considered to be quite challenging from the standpoint of defusing the SEED.

■ Lowered the height of objects dedicated to heavy snow areas used in ALTA CITY and KOREA TOWN to make them easier to dismantle in the knockdown state.

■ Fixed a movement issue caused by stairs by removing the stairs at the bottom of the objects dedicated to snowy areas used in ALTA CITY and KOREA TOWN.


[h3]13. Other bug fixes[/h3]

■ Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented agent selection during the matching.

■ Fixed an issue with the 'Default' button not working in the calling card customization menu.

■ Fixed an issue where the system message for the Lily signature "Ammo Discount" was displayed multiple times.

■ Fixed the system message to display at a constant length if it is displayed consecutively.

■ Fixed an issue with agents looking sideways in the outgame lobby and agent menu.
