Here are some notes on our latest patch on to help you have a smooth testing experience.

■ Dev Comment
Weapon recoil
- With regard to weapons recoil, each weapon feature has been elaborately designed through repeated closed-testing and is consistently balanced based on store purchases and weapon usage statistics tailored to different levels of terrain and strategies.
We always coordinate it through a deep thought and decision-making process because it is so closely related to VX's various strategic tactics.
During the beta global test, many players complained of difficulty in controlling the initial weapon recoil, so we decided to adjust the weapon recoil because we thought it was difficult to expand from the most fundamental combat experience to tactics in the shooting game.
Above all, considering the expansion of various control operations macroscopically, we believe it needs to be adjusted more.

Maps
- The VX development team is currently undergoing a global beta test and collecting valuable data from active participation.
We found issues with the newly added level change systems in beta and confirmed that among the maps where the SEED installation area is changed, the share of attack and defense of ‘Derailed target A&D’ is slightly imbalanced compared to other maps, and we are working on improving and validating this part.
The map patch will be updated during the beta service period, but please understand that it may take some time

Character Change
- It is being completed gradually through various verification processes during the beta service. We intend to validate the core content during the remaining beta period.
Currently, the game method provides an environment in which only a few lepton presets can be selected and played at a random level based on your chosen character. In this case, it is determined that the frequency of the gap between VX orientation and strategy connecting to strategy and tactics grows over time in situations where the same character proportion is unintentionally high in some matches.
Because you don't know which characters will be composed by matching, choosing only the most stable characters in the individual preferences and play indicators does not provide an active direction for level, lepton composition, and 5 stacks play. We would like to verify that we can improve consistent play style.

■ Matching guide

Matching quality
- Search for matches with a small difference in average skill between teams and within a match based on the user's MMR gap.
- Step up to find the best combination in a given matching pool
> 1st (6/10): Raised matching quality search criteria
> 2nd (6/15): Added a minimum condition to prevent an exceptionally large difference in skill between match participants.

Party rules
- 5 stack is only matched against the other 5 stack
- Solo and 3 stack do not match each other
- 2 stack is matched first with 3 stack until a certain period of time has passes, and then it is possible to match with solo
- However, in the case of an intrusion, it will be filled by the insufficient number of people regardless of the party size of the match.

Latency Rules
- Only matches with a certain level of in-game latency are eligible.
- Separate matching if good latency is difficult to achieve in any region.

Beginner protection
- Separate matching between users who have fewer games and those who have less than a certain level of skill.
> If the match is not made within a certain amount of time, the corresponding separation rule is rendered invalid.
- Users with less games are separated from the intrusion source
- When forming a party with non-beginner users, exclude beginner protection

Twitch 2nd Drops Open (Special Skin Drops Event)
- Event period: 06/16(Thu), 16:00 KST (00:00 PST) to 06/19(Sun), 23:59 KST (07:59 PST)
- Event Content: During the event, you will be able to get a skin box containing limited edition agent cosmetics that can only be obtained in this beta test every hour of watching Drops-enabled broadcast.
* Must connect twitch account with steam account

Improved 2D replay generation time
- Improved 2D replay generation time to be exposed within 5 minutes after the end of the match.

Modify the Ranking Aggregation Criteria
- Minimum match participation criteria for ranking aggregation will be changed. (8 or more match participation > 40 or more match participation)

Error fixes and other enhancements to the homepage

- Fixed a bug in the Discord Web Chat Mention feature
- Maintenance Schedule (Korea KST / Other countries PST)

Change Link Command Preferences
- Modified to set the "Operation" category to default when the link command is opened.
Effects changes
- When shooting in first person, the gun muzzle effect has been adjusted to a level that does not interfere with combat.
Action changes
- Increased pistol aim speed
- Increased juggernaut landing motion speed
Status Board Improvements
- Improved the area near the installation icon on the status board where the sketching range was limited
Remove some icons and text
- Removed the cheering icon while spectating
- Removed the magnetic field reduction time from the top of the minimap
Change tooltip image
- Changed the image for M4 Super 90

Reinforced notification for the inbox
- We have reinforced the notification for the inbox when new mails arrive.
Configuration setting changes
- Added alerts for duplicate key binds in the key settings.

- Allowed duplicate key binds for unallocated actions in the key settings.

- Added alerts for deleting key binds when a mouse cursor hovers a set key bind.
- Added outlines for customizable items for better cognitive recognition.
Improved display of Leptons on agent growth page
- Improved UI design for locked Leptons
Penalty removed from leaving custom matches
- Removed abandonment penalty from leaving custom matches applying to normal matchmaking

Improvements
- Stiffening and overpowering effects do not happen anymore when damaging teammates
- Youngsik has a higher chance of spawning with the SEED at the start of the round.
- Improved texts and shortcut key displays in the tutorial.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where kill logs weren't displaying in spectator cam after intruding a match.
- Fixed an issue where leaving a custom match would get reflected on the stats on the reports.
