We would like to inform you of the updates on June 1st(Thursday), 2023.
[h3]· A temporal removal of a certain item from the market.[/h3]- G17 pistol which can inflict the balance issue with click spam macro has been removed temporarily from in-game market.
> The item shall be back in the market as soon as we come up with a countermeasure ready against the macro programs.
[h3]· Improved map selection logic for beginners.[/h3]- If there are a number of novice players in the party, there is a higher chance that a map with a lower difficulty will be selected.
[h3]· Changed the requirement to earn tickets to participate in the ranked match from 10 to 20 times.[/h3]- Mission: participating casual match 20 times

- To avoid confusing the ongoing mission count, the location of the certain mission has been changed "Complete 10 of the following missions" and "Complete 20 games of Normal".
- Players with existing mission completed and In progress numbers are not affected, and will be only effective for the new players and those who are in the middle of a mission after today's update.
[h3]· Added a guiding message (suggesting 3-players party) to improve for the longer wait times in competitive 2-party queues.[/h3]
[h3]· Since there is no backfill system in the ranked match, fixed re-joining conditions for leaving round 0 (while loading) to improve the inconvenient experience of starting a game with an unbalanced number of players.[/h3]- For solo queue, a waiting time has been added for the user who left to re-join or for another user to join.
- For multi-player queue, all players must wait for the user who left to re-join.
- The maximum waiting time for re-joining and backfill is 60 seconds.

- If no users re-joined or backfilled for 60 seconds, the match will end and all players in the match will be moved to the lobby.
[h3]· Added a system with in-game coins and competitive RP readjustment, in the case of which there are a player abandoning or backfilling during a match.[/h3]- There is a difference in funding between casual match and ranked match and payouts.
- Changed to deduct RP if you leave again after backfilling or re-joining.
- In the ranked match, teams that end up with a shortage of teammates due to abandon will have their RP gained/lost adjusted by applying a modifier.

> Exception #1: Exclude adjustment to all players if there are abandons at the match point.
> Exception #2: Exclude adjustment to all the abandon players.
[h3]· [Updated] The RP (increase/decrease) logic for re-joining and abandoning has been changed to correct the RP values for certain users who have been playing the ranked match since May 20th.[/h3]- An error in the RP (increase/decrease) logic while backfilling shall be identified and corrected, and RP points will be also adjusted for some participants who joined games as backfill.
This may be applied in time and will affect in an adjustment to the archives' ranking in the ranked match. A deep apology for any inconvenience this may cause.
[h3]· Improved the displaying popup message for the unintentional game termination case.[/h3]- The unintentional game termination popup displays a "Support Center" button to go directly to the Support Center for submitting a ticket.
- Changed the wording of the NGS detection termination message from "Connection to the server has been lost" to "Connection terminated due to abnormal behavior".
[h3]· Bug fixes[/h3]- Fixed map collision volumes to prevent unmovable areas in some parts of the ALTA CITY map.
- Fixed the issue of teleporting onto containers when exploding inside a container truck on the KOREA TOWN map.
- Fixed the game count determination for participation in the ranked match to only apply to games that have been completed matching after the end of a normal round.
> Fixed an issue that caused games to be counted even if they were disqualified from participating in a ranked match.
- Fixed an issue that caused the throwing weapon still holding in the hand of player after completing a long jump while performing a quick throw using the throwing weapon's G key.
> Changed to hold the previous weapon in the hand of the player after the throwing.
- Fixed an issue where an ally performs rolling and shooting action while in an incapacitated state would cause the revive action to be canceled during the revive timing.
- Fixed an issue where dying while sliding would not reset the camera position on subsequent respawns.
- Fixed teleporting over containers in the KOREA TOWN level container truck.
- Fixed an issue where team upgrade effects from the market would not apply to the backfilled characters.
- Fixed an issue where setting the minimap position to the bottom right could cause part of the inventory to be blocked when displaying calling cards, which caused the feature unusable.
- Fixed an issue where the game would not start if the window was minimized after clicking the "Start Custom Match game" button.
- Now the scanbow's scanning effect will not be triggered even if the bow was charged and shot at the very end of market time.
[h3]· Non-game system updates[/h3]- Added discord game stats BOT.
> Discord game stats BOT provides data for all players playing Veiled Experts.
> To check your stats, enter the command '/stats' in the Discord Server chat input to activate the game stats BOT.

> With the stats bot enabled, enter the 'nickname' of the player whose stats you need to check, and you will be able to see their stats.

> Players who are banned for using unauthorized programs are excluded from the archives rankings.
