What to Expect in 0.2.0.0 - Development Summary
On April 10, 2025, we held a team meeting to discuss the upcoming Update 0.2.0.0 as well as future plans. Here's a look at our current progress on the next major update, which is expected to launch in May!
Horse Care System

One of the most important topics in the discussion was the Horse Care System, which will be expanded over multiple updates and improved & adjusted based on community feedback.

In the upcoming update, not all items in the stalls will be purely decorative anymore.
  • The hay net can be filled with hay that has been harvested from your own crops, or alternatively purchased from shops.
  • The feeding trough can be filled with treats like apples or other fruits. In the future, you’ll also be able to use self-produced pellets or other feed!

In addition to the health, hunger & cleanliness status displays, a new one will be added: the Fatigue Bar, which will be explained in more detail in a separate post.

In the current version (Early Access 0.1.0.2 – Hotfix), none of the status values are functional yet, but of course, we want to change that! We'll begin with the Fatigue and Hunger stats.

Stable Manager

The new Stable Manager will be accessible via a bulletin board on the ground floor of the stable. Once the player interacts with it, a map of your stable will open. This map is interactive, allowing quick and easy access to all areas of the stable.

When you click on a stall, you'll get a detailed overview with the following options:
  • A horse can be assigned to the selected box. That horse will then spawn in this box going forward.
  • The hay net & feeding trough can be filled and customized in color.

Farming

The farming system will expand many gameplay elements, including crafting, the horse care system, and provides another method to earn money! For this feature, the garden behind the house will become accessible.

We’ll have various types of harvestable plants. Here are some examples:
Single harvestš
  • Carrots
  • Beetroot
  • Grass
  • Various plants for creating dyes

Multiple harvests²
  • Blueberries
  • Apples

šSingle harvest means these plants provide one yield and must be replanted afterward.
²Multiple harvests means the plant only needs to be planted once and will regularly yield produce, like bushes or trees.

Hayloft

The attic of your stable will serve as a hayloft where you can place harvested grass into several "grass dryers." Once dried, it becomes hay. You can use this hay to feed your horses, fill the hay nets, or sell it.

Crafting Expansion

We want to introduce crafting for various types of horse tack, including gear that can only be crafted and gear that can also be purchased from NPCs. Crafting won’t just help you get special gear, but also offer a way to make money.

Alongside crafting gear, we’ll also provide the option to recolor items.
Here are two example recipes:
Crafting a saddle pad (can also be purchased):
  1. Fabric
  2. xxx Pax (In-game currency)
Recoloring a saddle pad:
  1. White saddle pad
  2. Red dye
  3. xxx Pax (In-game currency)

For Update 0.2.0.0, a "handful" of new crafting options will first be added at the blacksmith.

Horse Editor

Many of you requested the ability to rename purchased horses and change their hairstyles and color, including forelock, mane, and tail.
In the grooming area, you’ll soon be able to give your horses a whole new look!
We’ll also be adding brand-new hairstyles!

Horse Market Overhaul

Currently, the horse market always offers the same horses. We want to change that using in-game time. Every in-game week, new horses will be available, some of them randomly generated to bring more variety. Both mixed breeds and purebreds will be available!

Obstacle Course Builder Expansion

Higher jumps up to class M will be added. Additionally, you’ll be able to place decoratives on the ground.

Multiplayer Communication

To make communication with other players easier, we’ll be adding preset phrases and emotes.

We understand that many players would love an in-game chat, but unfortunately we cannot ensure safety, especially for younger players so we’ve decided not to include this feature for now.

Mini-Map

Some players had trouble finding their way around, so we decided to add a mini-map. It will show harvestable plants like Nettle and indicate your character’s current viewing direction.

General

We aim to add more Quality of Life features overall and to explain or implement many functions in a more user-friendly way. This will also be part of ongoing improvements spread across multiple updates. Thanks to the community’s feedback, we know where to focus our efforts!

Early Access 0.1.0.2 - Hotfix

Bug Fixes:
  • Silver/Gold Horse Ticket: It was previously possible to purchase more than 4 horses, but the horse was not actually added, and the ticket was incorrectly removed. This issue has been fixed.
  • Sleeping: Issues with the Sleeping feature have been resolved.
  • Index Entries: Index entries no longer reappear every time you join a training session.
  • Item Pickup: When attempting to pick up multiple items quickly, only one would be added to the inventory. This has been corrected.
  • Music: Some soundtracks that were not looping correctly have been adjusted to now repeat properly.

Visual and Gameplay Adjustments:
  • Color Update: The colors of the Stride Indicator and Stamina bar have been updated.
  • Tree Felling & Ore Mining: Animations for tree felling and ore mining have been sped up. Additionally, the current animation now fades out faster when a "hit" is registered, allowing the next hit to be executed immediately.
  • Alfalfa, Nettle & Trees: These objects have been visually updated to make them easier to identify.
  • Textures: Some textures that appeared muddy and were not loading correctly have been fixed so that they now display properly at all times.

New Features & Adjustments:
  • Key Binding: A new key binding has been added to drop "Carry Items" (items you can hold but are not in the equipment slot).
  • EXP and Reward System: The EXP and reward system has been adjusted for a better gameplay experience.
  • Menu Changes: The "Back to Home" button in the menu bar has been replaced with the Map Selection (Travel) button.
  • Silver/Gold Tickets: The prices of the Silver and Gold Tickets have been reduced.

    Reworked Quests:

  • "Check Out Your Property"

Early Access 0.1.0.1 - Hotfix

General Improvements & Bug Fixes:
  • Players who assigned their horse to the Stamina Path did not receive EXP – this issue has been fixed.
  • Stamina EXP can now be earned based on stamina consumption and distance traveled.
  • EXP rewards are now correctly calculated.
  • When a path reaches the maximum level (10), this is now properly displayed in the Horse Manager.
  • The Agility Path now grants less EXP.
  • Show Jumping challenges for classes E, A, and L are now available. Hovering over the buttons will now display the requirements needed to unlock each class.
  • Agility EXP is now gained through automatic lead changes.
  • Jeremiah had an incorrectly assigned talk text that was non-functional – this has been removed.
  • During Show Jumping training, the horse no longer keeps moving in the background when the result screen is displayed.
  • Some hay decals in the Riding School had poor blending with other objects – this has been fixed.
  • The "Job Offer" timer now includes "h" and "m" for hours and minutes, as some players were unsure about the time format.
  • Some SFX could not be lowered via the settings – this issue has been fixed.
  • The stable entrance doors on the Riding School map now open wider to allow horses to pass through more easily. (Visually, this might look a bit odd from the outside, but until we can replace the mesh, this is the best solution.)
  • The text size of some hint messages has been adjusted.
  • A problem has been fixed where the job horses at the Riding School were no longer interactable after rejoining the map while the job was active.

Gameplay Adjustments:
  • For jobs requiring item deliveries, items are now correctly removed from the inventory and recognized.
  • Horses can now become Exhausted:
  • If a horse's stamina reaches 0, it enters the Exhausted state.
  • In this state, the horse is downgraded to at least "Trot."
  • The Exhausted status is lifted once stamina regenerates above 20%.
  • While Exhausted, the horse cannot go faster than "Trot" and cannot jump.
  • Fixed an issue where players could switch to canter during a jump even when stamina was depleted.
  • Night can now be skipped: Starting at 18:00 (6 PM), you can interact with your bed.
  • A numerical error in Beginner Course 06 has been corrected.
  • The feeding animation has been fixed.
  • The Show Jumping ESC menu no longer causes players to get stuck when closing it.

Final Notes:
For this hotfix, we primarily focused on fixing the most common bugs, as far as it was currently possible.
Some bugs could not be reproduced, making it difficult to identify the cause. I will reach out to certain players who encountered these issues to ask for additional details and assistance.
