1.03.58021 - The Binding Blade - Hotfix

FIXES
  • Updated background for Warlord node
  • Fixed color tint and rim direction on plague eater maid so those settings match other characters
  • Fix for missing Chirurgeon dodge pose
  • Fixed z-fighting in highwayman combat backstory fight 4
  • Updated localization for all languages to fix missing strings and improvements made during the past week

Crusader
  • Fixed an issue with Aggressor's Smite unintentionally providing stress recovery when killing a corpse
  • Fixed an issue with Aggressor's Reap unintentionally providing Strength when killing a corpse


Other fixes
  • Spearman: Fixed Jab not removing Block tokens when the target has combo
  • Increased chances to encounter the Warlord at Military Barricades in Region 2 from 10% to 15% when conditions have been met
  • Fixed issue with Heroes popping out of their animation early when guarding an ally
  • Battle Hardened and Maître De La Lame now will correctly wait for all 5 memories to be applied before granting the achievement
  • Updated immune text to light grey
  • Updated all white poptext to light grey
  • Updated GAMEPAD support to enable R3 to reveal more character sheet info in hero select if the party can embark
  • Updated our bad data validation so we will no longer incorrectly show a popup in the very specific case where your DLC is installed but not validated

Grave Robber
  • Repartee no longer requires Stealth to activate
  • Repartee now has a cooldown of 2 turns
  • Repartee+ no longer requires Stealth to activate
  • Repartee+ now has a cooldown of 2 turns
  • Repartee+ now grants a buff if used when in Stealth: for 3 turns, the Grave Robber will receive a +4% CRIT bonus each time she is missed. These CRIT bonuses each also last for 3 turns
  • Repartee and Repartee+ still clear any Stealth tokens you have so that the Taunt can do its job

  • Fixed guard act out not displaying the act out motif consistently
  • Fixed Worldly Traveler achievement being incompletable for older accounts
  • Fixed These Boots Are Made For Kickin' achievement to work with upgrade and path variant versions of The Boot
  • Adjusted lighting for barricade swordsman slash and taunt vfx
  • Adjusted lighting for barricade spearman throw and stab VFX
  • Update quest node icon visuals to be more noticeable
  • Death's Headstone no longer hoverable in combat
  • Tropaeum no longer consumes Crit tokens, triggers Riposte and can now be dodged
  • Updated gamepad to allow access to disease information on character sheet
  • Fixed skill loadout button being selectable when attempting to equip item in the character sheet with gamepad
  • Updated Main Menu to wording to better reflect common term usage in the game, also updated save warnings to better explain what is being lost and what is preserved

  • Fixed crusader lighting on sword pop when using 'Reap' ability
  • Fixed hero ribbon positions not being centered after loading with less than four heroes
  • Adjusted Relationship modifier text to better fit on the screen
  • Adjusted gamepad controls to block other inputs while reposition hero ribbons
  • Fixed z-fighting on Chirurgeon's shadow plane
  • Fix to max torch changes from biome modifiers not working on load (ie. Heavy Winds region modifier not appropriately capping max flame)
  • Fixed tutorial archive not hotswapping description when switching between input devices
  • Fixed character sheet overlapping path UI in 16:10 ratio
  • Fix to story choice handling of no valid story choices and just continuing run

The Duelist is a disciplined and deadly combatant capable of tactically switching between Defensive and Aggressive stances. She is able to move between ranks with ease, attacking from both the front and back ranks, dispatching her enemies with brutal efficiency.

The Crusader has returned! This battle hardened knight is fueled by a radiant Holy fire and will Smite his foes where they stand.
