We have just pushed a new build to the Darkest Dungeon II retail branch:

Inhuman Bondage DLC Updates:
Crypt Keeper
  • Reduced appearance rate
  • Disabled from appearing in Hazard & Rough Patch mashes
  • Passkey: Removed Immobilize on CRIT
  • Added passive debuff, When Moving: Add Blind (15%) or Weak (15%) or Vulnerable (15%) or Daze (15%)
  • Passive low Flame crit buffs reduced from +10% to +5% while under 50 Flame, +15% to +10% while under 25 Flame, and +100% to +15% while at 0 Flame
Bagman
  • Seepage: Now has cooldown 1

2.00.73462 - Darkest Dungeon II - Kingdoms Coming_in_Hot Release

We are going to be pushing builds to our coming_in_hot branch again starting today as we roll into some features/changes that were done during our release candidate lock out. As always we like to let these builds soak on these public beta branches as we continue to work on the localization and other stability issues.

We encourage players who want to help test these changes and provide feedback to switch to either the "coming_in_hot" beta branch on Steam. Your save will carry over when you switch to that branch.

Note: We always recommend making a backup of your save file before switching branches!

Beastmen
  • Alpha Rot Claw: fixed an issue with it having skills that will never be revealed in the Academic View
  • Alpha Rot Claw: fixed an issue with Thundering Hooves applying Taunt to the target

  • Fixed the color of the stress heal on the Unchained's version of Transform / Transform+ to match other stress heals

    Fixed an issue with the Abomination's Spectre not properly clearing if the Abomination was slain


Misc Fixes
  • Updated Pip Highlighting Logic on Character Sheets and Crossroads UI to more accurately display enemy targeting and hero position preference based on skill selection
  • Added Black Light Lantern to Kingdoms inn shop table after visiting the Catacombs
  • Misc. typo fixes

2.00.73446 Darkest Dungeon II - Kingdoms Hotfix

We've just pushed a new hotfix to Darkest Dungeon II.

Fixes:
  • Updated Chirurgeon's second action while alone now performs the same as a standard turn
  • Fix to actors with no path, setting them to default path and resetting skills
  • Fix to respawned / refilled heroes not having affinity connections causing purple text in affinity matrix
  • Fix to Catacombs camp scene not loading due to bad addressable key
  • Updated Localization
  • Added a Steam check if DLC is installed and owned
  • Fixed issue with EGS save import to Steam where legacy saves would not import properly

Kingdoms - RETAIL HOTFIX

FIXES
  • Removed Confessions Hero Story requirement from the Abomination for Kingdoms access
  • Abomination Shrine Combat 2
      Shrine of Reflection goal has been updated for clarity
      Absolution cooldown reduced from 2 to 1
      Absolution is not usable during round 1
      Purifying Litany buff limited to a maximum stack count of 2
      The buff that removes a Monk's Purifying Litany buffs when they get moved has been changed to a debuff to separate it from the Purifying Litany buffs at a glance


Edge Case Fixes
  • Updated Kingdoms Event panel to be closeable via hotkey without breaking game presentation
  • Fixed an issue where the Heroes would sometimes refuse food even if they have yet to eat
  • Added missing Narration to Kingdoms Main Menu flow
  • Fixed an issue with heroes using palettes not spawning the correct corpse
  • Fixed an issue with the Abomination's Confession 5 boss mechanic not clearing correctly if the Abomination was slain
  • Fixed an issue with the 'Et Tu, Riposte' achievement
  • Fixed an issue where pressign the ESC key during presentation broke the Kingdoms UI resulting in the Pass Day button being blocked from input
  • Fix to map generation failure with biome goal when avoiding node is unavoidable
  • Fixed an issue when multiple buff instances that use the same override string would duplicate


NOTE: You will need to start a new Kingdoms campaign to see the Abomination at the crossroads. If you had started a Kingdoms campaign before and quit at the Crossroads, loading that save won't cause the Abomination to appear.

2.00.73276 - Darkest Dungeon II - Kingdoms Hotfix

We have just pushed a hotfix with the following changes:

  • Updated several Shroud environment art assets to resolve flickering lights
  • Fixed an issue where certain in game text would not swap languages correctly resulting in what appeared to be missing text
  • Fix for custom difficulty inn count slider not updating its max value when backtracking and changing map selection
  • Increased Kingdoms event chance from 50% > 80%
  • Fix for Abomination Rake/Maul having a pop in between anticipation and idle loop
  • Fixed an issue with Spider Webbers gaining access to their Combo priming too early in Kingdoms; it is now limited to Escalation 2 or higher
  • Fixed another instance of game text not being correctly hooked up to localized text, this time the close button on the event panel
  • Updated and resolved issues with Bounty Hunter Inn posses and animations
  • Updated Localization to solve more issues with the game text in other langauges
  • Fixed more invalid characters in Traditional Chinese in the story screen + enter node screen by swapping fonts
  • Fixed a 1.06 > 2.00 save handling breaking in some cases
