Darkest Dungeon II Releases on Nintendo Switch July 15th

A new build is now available for download: 1.05.63593

This build contains changes that were made to support our recent GOG release. We have released this build everywhere to ensure all our platforms are in parity. Please note that this build only contains backend changes, there are no gameplay changes in this release.

Darkest Dungeon II Celebrates its First Anniversary

Darkest Dungeon II’s 1.0 release was one year ago today!

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported the game so far.

Since our 1.0 launch, we’ve released a total of 5 updates, with even more to come. We put together this image to show you everything we’ve added in the past year!

Today also marks the first time you're able to claim the Loop Year Achievement. Be sure to play Darkest Dungeon II today to collect it. This achievement is only earnable on May 8th!

We have so much more in store for 2024, including console release, Kingdoms (a FREE stand alone campaign game mode), and modding!

Official mod support is coming to Darkest Dungeon 2 next month

It's been a bit of a wait, but official mod support for Darkest Dungeon 2 is about to arrive - although it'll be coming piece by piece rather than as a complete suite. Developer Red Hook Studios says it's rolling out the initial components of its mod support next month, with more to follow over the course of the year.
