Demo Update

The Bootstrap Island demo has been updated with some most requested features. The day is now significantly longer! We cleaned the flintlock pistol and reworked the hop-up system to be more useful.

Hello, survivors! We have some news:

🌓 The endless mode of the Bootstrap Island demo has been updated with some most requested features. To access the endless mode, please right click the game in your Steam library, choose Properties, choose Betas, enter the code [b[morningcomes and choose ā€œendless modeā€. We would love to hear your feedback!

ā˜€ļø The day is now significantly longer! This is the most requested change and we implemented it to the endless mode, so give it a shot and let us know what you think.

šŸ”« We cleaned the flintlock pistol, turned out there was some sand and seawater in there. It's now much easier to use and more reliable. The current world record of beasts killed per night is 4, can you beat it?
🫳 Also significant, we reworked the hop-up system to be more useful. The way it works now is that you hold your palm facing the thing on the ground and then hop the item up to your hand. It might feel strange at first but it's noticeably slicker than before. Again, feedback is welcome!

šŸ”„ There is no embargo on the endless version, you can feel free to make videos or share on social media. Please also note that currently the playtest key is not necessary to play the regular demo on Steam, as you can just download the demo from the Steam page but this might change in the future.
