[h3]Bootstrap Island won Game of the Year award 2024 in Estonia!!🏆 [/h3]

This is a historic achievement for Bootstrap Island! During the 26th annual MängudeÖÖ event in Estonia, the video game festival awarded its very first Estonian Game of the Year award to Bootstrap Island! 🔥🌴

Held in the Apollo Cinema Estonia’s capital, Tallinn, MängudeÖÖ is a gaming celebration, featuring the latest titles as well as home-grown achievements. Out of all the Game of the Year nominations, Bootstrap Island and Into the Radius 2 proudly represented the VR industry. 😎



The award for Game of the Year came as a complete surprise to us, and it is a tremendous honour for the Bootstrap Island team! Especially considering that this year, the competition among great Estonian games was incredibly fierce, which is already a piece of very positive news.

We are extremely honored to share the stage with such an amazing games like Into the Radius 2 (2nd place), Untraveled Lands: Chantico (2nd place) and Rusty's Retirement (3rd place). Congrats to all the winners! 🎉

Alongside an assortment of games for attendees to play, there were also a multitude of tournaments taking place. These included competitions on Tekken 8 and EA FC 25.



Bootstrap Island is preparing for its next major update “Overlord” set for release this October. Players will encounter the mysterious island’s first boss, hidden deep within the jungle. Stay tuned for more news! 🔥

"By now I know that the beasts hold fear for fire. I wondered whether a grand circle of flames around me would keep the beasts at bay. But there is always a chance that something will attack from the sky... what ought I do then?"

[h3]Crack the Coconut: hit, smash & shoot! [Survival Journal No. 1][/h3]
"I've gotten good at opening coconuts. At first, I used a stone, but it took a while. It's quicker to seize the coconut with both hands and smack it against rocks. But the fastest way is to throw the nuts swiftly at the rocks, which also spares my hands a couple of bruises. I could also shoot the coconut with a pistol, but dare not squander a bullet on that."
