Early Access v1.0.4 Update

Patch v1.0.4 is out now!
Here's the changes:
  • Capped max queue size to 250 (was 750 originally)... Performance was suffering greatly when the queue got to be too high, and with automation mode when you get to that point in the game, I feel like you don't need a queue size that high. Any queue size up to 250 will be the same as it was previously.
  • Money can buy you anything talent reduced from +1 stat point per 100,000 gold to +1 stat point per 1,000,000 gold.
  • Added some more performance optimizations, most significantly to text update rate limiting.
  • Fixed a few typos here and there.

Early Access 1.0.3 Update

Early Access v1.0.3 is out now!
Here's a list of what's changed:
  • Added new RPM effect tier in the 500 million to 1 billion range
  • The "Critical Miner" talent no longer scales multiplicatively with the Scrutiny stat, instead scaling additively.
  • It should no longer be possible to receive a stack of items that exceeds the max stack size.
  • Performance should be a bit better now.
  • Automation delay should now correctly update even if the automation window is closed.
  • Automation will now be paused if it's active while recording macros.
  • Added some additional error checking incase save files get corrupted.
  • Added a few more Journey objectives.
  • Fixed an issue with vendor inventory size getting out of sync.

Early Access V1.0.2

Just a small update: I've added two additional sliders under video settings for motion intensity and color intensity, to optionally help reduce eye strain/dizziness if you are experiencing it. I've also added a toggle to completely disable all VFX.

Update Notes for Early Access V1.0.1

V1.0.1 bugfixes:
-The Random Gift ring is now properly equip-able.
-The Optimizer talent tooltip now shows the correct Prowess bonus.
-Macro automation mode now properly checks for your queue to be empty before queuing your selected macro, instead of queueing in between casts.
-Fixed an issue causing the Deep Mind buff to not apply properly, resulting in an empty tooltip.
-Temporarily disabled item tooltip caching as it was causing tooltips to sometimes display incorrect data... This will have a performance cost when displaying lots of item tooltips in a short timespan, but the tooltips should now always be correct. This is a temporary countermeasure until I can figure out exactly what was going wrong.

Hello World!

Something new is spinning up. Fidget Spinner RPG is on track for early access release in early May!

Here's a quick rundown of what's coming in the early access version, see the store page for more details:
  • Speed: Progress through multiple RPM tiers of ever-increasing absurdity.
  • Dynamic Soundtrack: As you get going faster, the music evolves.
  • 7 Skill Lines to train: Competency, Spinning, Mining, Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting, Haggling, and Alchemy. Each skill has it's own stat bonuses, talent tree, and abilities.
  • Stats: 13 stats to improve you power, you can increase them by leveling up or crafting & equipping new gear.


The game is currently going through a closed beta period. If you'd like to request to participate, or get a sneak peek at what's being discussed, head on over to the official discord server. This will also be the primary place to post and discuss feedback once the game launches in early access!
