What's next?

Hey everyone! It's been pretty quiet on our end, but rest assured, because we've been hard at work on new and exciting things.. Here's a news update!

DLC announcement
A few months ago, we started working on the first paid DLC for Stacklands. It's not done yet, but we've already come up with new mechanics that will add more variation to the game. These mechanics will be available on 3 new boards that we've added, as well as on the mainland.

There's already more than 100 new cards in the DLC, and it will release sometime early this summer!



Official modding support
Another exciting new thing is that we're making good progress towards official modding support for the game. Cyber, who made the unofficial Stacklands modding framework Berryloader is helping us turn this dream into reality. We're really excited to see what you will end up making and playing! Once it is released, you'll be able to download various mods from the Steam Workshop.



1 year birthday
This Friday, it's officially been a year since Stacklands was released! We never expected the game to take off in the way it did, and we want to thank everyone for playing the game.

Hello! Here are some more fixes and changes. ːsl_villagerː

Additions
  • You can now drag coins on top of the buy booster boxes one-by-one
  • Added an option for easier dragging to the accessibility options
  • Item stats are now visible in the info box
Changes
  • Changed Magic Glue recipe to only require Magic Dust and Charcoal
  • Changed Dustbin destroy time to 4 seconds to work better with automations
Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where Magic Glue would cause certain structures not to work
  • Fixed a bug where the resolutions in the resolution screen wouldn't update
  • Fixed text fields still sending input to the game when typing

Happy new year everyone! Let's start the year of with a small patch for Stacklands ːsl_villagerː

  • Resource Chest now cost 2 Iron Bar, 1 Plank and 1 Flint
  • Resource Chests now receive cards as they're created
  • Magic Glue no longer prohibits Hotpot from receiving cards
  • Fixed a bug with the Cardopedia sections

Improvements
  • You can now search in the Ideas sidebar
Fixes
  • Resource Magnet now has infinite range and new cards choose the closest magnet first
  • When a Resource Magnet is full cards will jump towards a different one
  • Magic Glue now properly works with Resource Chests and cards with timers
  • Fixed stack occasionally splitting when removing from another stack
  • Fixed ideas sometimes not starting as expected
  • Fixed a few Cardopedia entries not having their variables replaced properly
  • Fixed Resource Chest items not counting towards quest total counts
  • Fixed Villager health description not reflecting their actual health
  • Fixed Pirate Boats not showing that they can be bribed anymore
  • Fixed a bug with wrong text showing when crafting a Dustbin

Stacklands v1.3.2

Hello! Here are some bug fixes for the newly released Order & Structure update:

  • Fixed Crane not working properly
  • Fixed University getting stuck after the last donation
  • Fixed University and Wishing Well Idea descriptions
  • Blunderbuss now properly self-crits
  • The Island Intro pack no longer spawns after beating the Demon multiple times
  • Invulnerable now protects against poison and bleeding damage
  • Fixed an issue with the resolution sometimes being way too small, causing the game to be unplayable
