Tools of Choice - The Unlockable Items

Before we start diving into each of the unlockable items you will be able to use in Pizza Possum, let’s first look at them as a group. As you climb your personal high score and make it further into the village, you will start to unlock more tools to help you navigate tight spots and distract the guards. These can be picked up through various floating boxes scattered around the island and can make all the difference when being chased.

Items are split up into three categories. The first are active, usable items with a fixed amount (e.g. energy drinks, smoke bombs), which you can refill the amount of by grabbing more from the floating boxes. These are showcased both in the item menu as well as the corner of the screen, and you can only have one active item in use at any time, meaning that if you pick it up, your previously equipped one will be dropped.

The second is passive stacked items that increase specific stats, like coffees for speed or mints to make your bloated form last for a shorter time. These are automatically consumed, and you can see the amount you’ve eaten in the item menu.

Lastly, you have wearable passives, which give various boosts, like the chef’s hat that boosts the number of points you get from consuming food or the bandit mask that makes it harder to spot you. Only one wearable passive can be equipped at any given time, you will have to pick and choose which stat boost works best for you.
