Our goal is to continually introduce features that enrich the world, enhance your experience, and improve overall immersion. With that said, let’s dive right in. 👀[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The Courthouse has officially arrived in To Pixelia, bringing a brand new layer of depth, strategy, and roleplay to your daily life in Pixelia. [/p][p][/p][p]With this update, justice is no longer limited to police intervention. Pixelia now features a full legal system complete with trials, lawyers, juries, witnesses, defendants, plaintiffs, and of course, a judge overseeing it all. [/p][p][/p][p]The justice system is not just a set piece; it’s a system that responds to how you interact with others and grants you many new options.[/p]

[p][/p][p]With this new update, you will find "Justice System" button in your Profile.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]If someone crosses the line, you finally have the ability to take the matter to court and pursue justice. [/p][p][/p][p]But remember: Pixelia is fair. Other Pixelians can sue you as well, reacting to your actions and decisions throughout the world. Even a small misstep could earn you a summons.[/p][p][/p][p]For those seeking a more involved career path, you can now become a Lawyer. You can also hire your own lawyer to represent you in trials.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]As a Lawyer, your role is to defend clients in court and advocate for justice in their cases. [/p][p][/p][p]Trials come in two forms: Offense and Defense. Your effectiveness varies depending on the case type. Winning an Offense trial earns you Plaintiff Lawyer Prestige, while success in a Defense trial increases your Defendant Lawyer Prestige. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Each day, you’ll receive a list of clients looking for legal representation. Building both prestige types will help you unlock higher-paying and more valuable clients.[/p][p][/p][p]You’ll examine the details of each lawsuit and accompany your client through every stage of the trial.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]An important part of your job involves finding Witnesses who can strengthen your case. [/p][p][/p][p]For each case, you should prepare and search Witnesses as their testimonies may provide crucial context, challenge the opposing side, and significantly influence how the Jury interprets the events, ultimately increasing your chances of winning the trial.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]When you have an active trial available, you’ll need to visit the Courthouse and speak with the officer to begin any ongoing lawsuit. Your role will vary depending on the case. [/p][p][/p][p]Sometimes you’ll appear as the Plaintiff or Defendant, and other times you’ll step in as the Lawyer representing a client. After all, justice applies to everyone.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The courtroom experience is built around a structured and strategic Trial System, featuring 6 Jury members, 1 Judge, 1 Plaintiff, 1 Defendant and Lawyers and Witnesses on each side.[/p][p][/p][p]Each trial is divided into 6 phases; three for the Plaintiff and three for the Defendant. During these phases, both sides present their testimonies one at a time, offering their statements and arguments to sway the Jury.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]While one side is delivering their testimony, the opposing Lawyer has the opportunity to raise an objection.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]A well-timed objection can weaken the opposing side’s argument and sway the Jury’s impression. If you are Lawyer, your success will depend on your character’s;[/p]

• [p]Intelligence[/p]
• [p]Legal skills[/p]

[p]If you’re participating as the Plaintiff or Defendant instead, your Lawyer will handle objections on your behalf and take the actions they deem best for your case.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]When this happens, the testimony is paused, and both the Lawyer and the Judge engage in a brief exchange. The Judge will then either accept or overrule the objection. [/p][p][/p][p]A successful objection can weaken the impact of the testimony and influence how the Jury perceives the validity of the claims.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]The goal is straightforward:[/h3][h2]🏛️ Convince more Jury members than your opponent.[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The side that earns the majority of Jury support wins the case.[/p][p][/p][p]If the Jury ends up split in a tie, the final decision falls to the Judge, who will deliver the ultimate verdict.[/p][p][/p][p]This system creates a dynamic blend of strategy of timing, persuasion, and legal drama; turning every trial into a battle of wits and influence. Your Pixelian’s skills are the deciding factor in how well they perform in their role as a Lawyer.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Whether you aim to defend the innocent, expose the guilty, or simply build a career full of dramatic courtroom victories, the Lawyer profession offers an engaging new role in the world of Pixelia.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]As the Defendant[/h2][p][/p][p]Your choices now matter even more! [/p][p][/p][p]If you cross the line, other Pixelians may choose to take action against you. That means you may find yourself being sued for your behavior, and suddenly you’ll be the one standing in the Defendant’s spot. [/p][p][/p][p]As the accused, you need to hire a good Defendant lawyer that can represent you well in the courtroom, and make sure that you prepare for the case by searching Witnesses. [/p][p][/p][p]You’re not required to attend the trial in person as your Lawyer will handle the proceedings on your behalf even if you are not present.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]And if you don’t have a Lawyer, also don’t worry! [/p][p][/p][p]Pixelia’s legal system will assign one to you for free. [/p][p][/p][p]However, the court-appointed attorney may not be the most reliable… Let’s just say their skill level might turn a speeding ticket into a life sentence. For that reason, choosing your own Lawyer is always the safer option.[/p][p][/p][h2]As the Plaintiff[/h2][p][/p][p]If you feel you’ve been wronged, you’re free to take the matter to court. And even if no real harm was done, you can still file a lawsuit. Ultimately, what matters is whether you can persuade the Jury once you’re in the courtroom. With a skilled Plaintiff Lawyer representing you, winning the case becomes far more likely.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]File a lawsuit, gather witnesses, and bring your case before the court. With the support of your Lawyer and possibly strong Witnesses, you can fight to win compensation and hold others accountable.[/p][p][/p][h2]Debt System[/h2][p][/p][p]We’ve also updated several existing systems to integrate smoothly with the new courthouse mechanics.[/p][p][/p][p]If you’re unable to pay the compensation after losing a trial, you’ll now accumulate debt, which will automatically be deducted from your future earnings until the full amount is settled.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Beyond this new feature we are implementing, we’ve also made a few improvements across Pixelia as well.[/p][p][/p][p]The Police Station has received upgraded visuals, offering a more refined look. [/p][p]Meanwhile, the TV Studio; previously one of the few inaccessible buildings in Pixelia, has been replaced with the new Courthouse. • [p]Manners 🎩 : This skill affects their behavior at home. A high Manners level ensures they act politely and responsibly, while low Manners can lead to misbehavior, generating more trash and lowering household harmony.[/p][p][/p]
• [p]Education 📚 : A higher Education skill unlocks bonus actions and activities that you can observe directly in their profile. These actions reflect their growing knowledge and abilities.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

[/p][p][/p][p]Big thanks to everyone who reported bugs and shared feedback as it really helps us stay focused and improve the game more effectively! 💖[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Previously when you were going to cook something, you had to have required Ingredient items stored in your Inventory.[/p][p][/p][p]Now, if you don’t have them in your Inventory but they’re stored in your Fridge or Drawers, the cooking system will automatically detect and use them from your home storage.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]If the same ingredient exists in both your inventory and Fridge/Drawers, the system will prioritize using the one from your Inventory first.[/p][p][/p][p]You’ll now see icons showing the source of each ingredient, whether it’s taken from your Inventory or from home storage like the Fridge or Drawers.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]You now have the option to end your current lease agreement at any time! [/p][p][/p][p]Whether you're planning to relocate, upgrade to a better place, you can terminate your rental contract through the housing interface.[/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p]Once terminated, you’ll be moved out immediately and your furniture will be sent to Storage Inventory.[/p][p][/p][p]You’ll also receive 4💲 for every unused hour left on your lease. This new feature gives you greater flexibility in managing your housing.[/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p][/p][p]In addition to these new features, we’ve also addressed several bugs reported by the community.[/p][p][/p]

• [p]The issue where sleeping didn’t restore energy and time only progressed irregularly while your Store was open has now been fixed.[/p][p][/p]
• [p]A bug causing time to stop or advance unpredictably while your Business was open has also been resolved.[/p][p][/p]
• [p]Previously, opening your store remotely via phone prevented employee details from showing in the Daily Sales Report. This is now fixed and no longer an issue.[/p][p][/p]
• [p]Wall decorations and placeable items were mistakenly sent to your Inventory instead of Storage Inventory; this has been fixed in this new version and should now work as expected.[/p][p][/p]
• [p]A visual glitches near the Community Center has been fixed.[/p][p][/p]
• [p]We’ve also revised one of the "Elite Fighter" dream goals, which involves beating 25 Pixelians up. Previously, progress was only made by beating civilians up, but now victories in boxing matches will count toward this goal as well. This change will ensure that you don't have to commit a crime for completing this goal.[/p]

[p][/p][p]We have been working on Cloud Save support and only thing that is left now is to test it before we release this feature. After our tests are completed, we will make this feature public. [/p][p][/p][p]We’ve also implemented several community-requested additions and addressed various bugs for a smoother experience. [/p][p][/p][p]Let’s jump right in! 👀[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]In this new update, as well as updating visuals of the job start window, we are introducing a brand-new feature. [/p][p][/p][p]From now on, once you reach Level 3 in your current job, you'll have the option to simulate your work shift if you prefer.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The results of a simulated shift will depend on your current Job Level and Mood. However, choosing to simulate comes with a trade-off.[/p][p][/p][p]You'll earn less Job Experience, and even if your simulated performance is rated A, you won’t receive any Bonus.[/p][p][/p][p]You'll be able to watch your Pixelian's performance as the shift timer counts down, with a summary detailing what happens during their work. So, be sure your Pixelian is in a good mood before starting their shift. 🙂[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Along with this update, we have brought a few improvements as well as fixes for some bugs we've identified.[/p][p][/p][p]When your rent ended or you sold your home, your items were correctly sent to Storage—except for those stored in your Fridge or Drawers, which were lost. [/p][p][/p][p]This issue has now been fixed, and affected items should now appear in Storage.[/p][p]
Note: If you currently have items in your Fridge or Drawers, please remove and place them again to ensure they’re saved. Otherwise, they may still be lost. But any item that you place from now on will be saved and sent to Storage Inventory.[/p][p][/p][p]We’ve also added the ability to place or take items in batches of 10 when using Drawers, Fridges, or Trash Bins.[/p][p][/p][p]Additional fixes include:[/p]

• [p]Resolved a bug where pets spawned outside the walls in two-room apartment.[/p]
• [p]Fixed an issue where book writing progress would reset to Quality F after reloading the game.[/p]
• [p]Adjusted the exclamation mark position in the “Kneading” cooking tutorial (Neighbor Quest) for better visibility, as that exclamation icon previously blocked some interaction options.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a visual glitch affecting the Bottomtown Bench.[/p]
• [p]The "Family Person" dream (Reach 7 Hearts with any Pixelian) should now progress correctly.[/p]
• [p]UI for Cooking has slightly changed & been improved. [/p]
• [p]We have enabled Steam Deck Controller Support for Demo.[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p][p]We're still addressing a few bugs that some of our community have encountered, and those fixes will be included in an upcoming update.[/p][p][/p][p]In the meantime, the next update will focus on performance optimizations and Cloud Save support.[/p][p][/p][p]Following that, we plan to work on complete Steam Deck verification and continue adding new content & features for the game. [p]Hello once again, dear Pixelians! ːespressoː[/p][p][/p][p]This update took a bit longer than expected, but we’re very excited to bring you another update that is thoughtfully designed based on the valuable feedback from all of you![/p][p][/p][p]In this release, we’re addressing a challenge that’s been affecting some of you and now we’re introducing a new feature that directly targets the issue. 👀[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We’re excited to introduce a brand-new section in the Settings menu dedicated entirely to mini-game customization![/p][p][/p][p]This feature gives you the ability to adjust each individual mini-game according to your personal preferences.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]You now have full control over your mini-game experience! [/p][p][/p][p]With the new settings, you can choose to enable or disable any mini-game in the game, giving you the freedom to focus on the ones you enjoy most.[/p][p][/p][p]Additionally, you can adjust the difficulty level for each mini-game individually, allowing you to have control over your experience even more, whether you’re looking for a more relaxed experience or a tougher test of your skills.[/p][p][/p][h2]🎯 How do 'Disabled Minigames' work?[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p]When you choose to disable a mini-game, your Pixelian will take care of those activities on their own. The outcome will be determined entirely by your Pixelian’s relevant skill level for that specific task.[/p][p][/p][p]For simpler activities that don’t rely on any skill; like taking a bath, using the toilet, running on the treadmill, or lifting weights; your Pixelian will complete them automatically, without any input needed from you.[/p][p][/p][h2]🎶 What about Concerts and Side Jobs?[/h2][p][/p][p]As you know, certain activities; like Concerts and Side Jobs (those you receive through your mobile phone); involve performing on an instrument or creating a painting for a client.[/p][p][/p][p]If the mini-game required for one of these tasks is disabled, a pop-up will appear before you begin, asking if you’d like to simulate the mini-game instead.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This allows your Pixelian to handle those side jobs entirely on their own, with the outcome based solely on their relevant skill level. [/p][p][/p][p]The event will be simulated, and depending on how skilled your Pixelian is, you may either succeed or fail.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This setting is especially valuable for players with physical challenges that made it difficult to actively participate in mini-games, often leading to failure and reducing their overall enjoyment of the game. [/p][p][/p][p]We hope this new option removes that barrier and allows everyone to enjoy the experience more comfortably and fully.[/p][p][/p][h2]💰 Jobs[/h2][p][/p][p]For now, mini-games related to jobs are excluded from this feature, as we have separate plans for them.[/p][p][/p][p]We're considering allowing players to simulate their workdays, similar to this system, but likely only after reaching a certain level in that job. [/p][p][/p][p]Simulating a shift may come with drawbacks such as missing out on bonuses or performing slightly worse than usual.
