Future Content Plans

Hello there. It's been more than two weeks since the game's early access release date, but the only news was that we were fixing bugs. It's time to fix it.

In recent weeks, there has been really active work on fixing bugs in the game, but in addition to them, the 3d department is creating new locations, new items, new models of SCP objects that we want to add to the game. Yes, you heard right. Despite the existing problems with online, as well as problems with in-game bugs, bugs and softlocks, we continue to work on expanding the content of the game.

While the coders are busy with solving game problems, modellers and animators are also contributing to the development of the project.

So, we present you the following 3 future SCP objects in order, starting with SCP 035

A playable SCP, currently the content chamber of this SCP object (which also performs the role of its spawn point) is in the process of creation. Details about the gameplay loop will be available later.



The highlight of the program, SCP 363

A playable SCP, a containment chamber is planned, the mechanics is based on interaction with light/dark zones and dynamic growth/decrease. Details about the gameplay loop will be available later.



And finally, SCP 303

An unplayable SCP, an independent, autonomous NPC that randomly appears at different points on the map. The game mechanics details will not be disclosed.



Among other things, we also devote time to reworking the damage system towards a system of different types of damage. Yes, very soon different entities will have different resistances to different types of damage. Fire extinguishers for SCP 457 will also be added.

In general, work on the game is going on as before. We are sorry that the product turned out to be imperfect, but we will correct our own mistakes. And as soon as the bugs are fixed, we will return to adding new content to the game.

For those who are concerned about the fate of the game and online troubles, don't worry, we will work on our project as long as there are people who support us and believe in what we are doing.

SCP: Event Classified v0.5.3

Hello, we have delivered this new patch for the game, below you can find a list of the main changes.

Client fixes:
- Fix door and light unloading behavior that was causing missed doors and strange door animator behavior (doors opening when you look at them)
- Fix voice chat bug in idle voice mode
- Fix short player ID bug for a console
- Fix bug with grabbing "Q" items
- Fix official server list population (some players got timed out from time to time and didn't see official servers)
- Fix bug when closing a server list window before receiving official servers
- Fixed bug with weapon fire and crosshairs when exiting the game or switching to spectator mode
- Fixed map softlocks that happened from time to time
- Added handler for players who fell under the map, now teleporting them to their nearest spawn point
- Added a slider for an item to prevent players from jumping on it and glitching through the map

Server fixes:
- Fixed non-working custom ports in a server config

Features:
- Camera shake when walking and running has been reduced twice and now depends on the weight you are carrying in your inventory
- Spectator camera now teleports instantly between players and has smooth obstacle avoidance to prevent rare clipping
- New flashbang and explosion sounds added
- Human player breathing now twice as quiet as before
- Updated localizations

Art:
- SCP 303 model created, along with all relevant bones and rigging
- Added a new variation of containment_tunnel_third
- Created new texture iterations for keycards
- Cultist worm created with rig and textures

Tech:
- Removed unused Zenject plugin
- Updated FMOD to v2.02.21
- Update mirror to v89.0.0

Hotfix will be soon / Fresh news about game state

We've encountered a lot of unexpected bugs, but our bravest soldiers are working on fresh fixes.

A big patch is coming out next week (WE HOPE SO, ████ ████), and the game will be more stable than it is now.

We're also working on a few softlocks / client stability as well as player expirience issues (like dumb camera shake, we've already reduced it and you'll see it in the next patch).

SCP: Event Classified v0.5.2

  • Invisible objects have been fixed
  • Respawns have been increased and slightly redesigned
  • Fixed the volume of respawn sounds
  • Fixed a bug where you can have 2 items in one hand
  • Fixed the bug of not moving legs SCP 173
  • Fixed a bug where only the player's head is visible, but the rest of the body is not visible.
  • Fixed SCP 689 whose look did not add a death mark
  • Fixed interception of door control by electronic components

GAME IS RELEASED, AND WE ARE WORKING ON FIXES!

We are working on server issues, and knew about most common bugs and problems:

1. Game not starting - > Just wait a bit. If you are using HDD, it will took time on first game load
2. Cant join server -> Wait for server hotfix
3. Very high ping -> Wait for our fixes, we are working on hotfix with player count bug
4. Low FPS -> Wait for hotfix
