Ahoy, Renegades! We’ve been listening to your feedback about GE-0 Cash and the in-game Shop since the launch of HAWKED, and especially since Issue #1 Renegades. Many Renegades told us they found the pricing of GE-0 Cash confusing and had trouble assessing the value of items in the Shop.

Payments in HAWKED are always optional and generally offer more unique styles and cosmetics to rock when you’re looting X-Isle. However, we know from your feedback we need to focus on better value, clarity of our pricing policies, and more choices and variety for players who do spend money. It’s also important to us that the exchange rate from real-world currency to GE-0 Cash is more easily understandable.

Between the Issue #2 launch on May 23 and August, we plan to address your concerns and feedback with the following changes to pricing in HAWKED:

• Reduced Shop Prices (May 23): The price of items available from GE-0’s in-game Shop aboard the Riftwake will be changed. Many items will be reduced in price, with an average of 30% price reductions on certain item categories. The Premium Renegade Pass Bundle that grants 10 Levels will also be reduced.
• New GE-0 Cash Conversion Rate (August): The conversion rate of GE-0 Cash will become $1 for every 100 GE-0 Cash (excluding promotions and Pack bonuses). This will allow you to buy more premium currency when making bulk purchases and make the prices of in-game content more immediately understandable.
• New GE-0 Cash Packs (May 23 & August): Two new GE-0 Cash Packs will be introduced on May 23. We will roll out a new set of GE-0 Cash packs on platform storefronts to support the second phase of our pricing revamp in August 2024. Old packs will be phased out, and new ones will be introduced. This applies to the official HAWKED website, MY.GAMES Launcher, Steam, and Microsoft Store platforms.

While we would like to implement all changes as soon as possible, it will take a minimum of 90 days to roll them out completely due to our commitments to third-party platforms. We thank you for your patience as we work to improve our pricing policies in HAWKED!

We’re rolling out changes worldwide and across all supported platforms and storefronts (including the official website, Steam, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store) in two phases. Read on for more details about what to expect and when.
[h2]Changes to GE-0 Cash and Shop pricing on May 23, 2024[/h2]
The following changes are coming to HAWKED on May 23, 2024:

• The following GE-0 Cash Packs will be available on the official HAWKED website, Steam, MY.GAMES Launcher, and Epic Games Launcher (the Packs are also coming soon to Epic Games Store): 75 GE-0 Cash, 160 GE-0 Cash, 345 GE-0 Cash, 720 GE-0 Cash, 1170 GE-0 Cash, and 2100 GE-0 Cash. The 60 GE-0 Cash and 430 GE-0 Cash Packs will be retired.
• Two new GE-0 Cash Packs will be added to the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store: 75 GE-0 Cash and 345 GE-0 Cash.
• The price of items available from GE-0’s in-game Shop aboard the Riftwake will be changed. Many items will be reduced in price, with an average of 30% price reductions on certain item categories. The Premium Renegade Pass Bundle that grants 10 Levels will also be reduced.
• Raider Packs will be removed from platform storefronts, with new bundles being introduced in Issue #2. The current Renegade Pass #1 will also end, with a new one being introduced on May 23, 2024.

The following price reductions will be made to items in the HAWKED in-game Shop on May 23, 2024:

• Premium Renegade Pass Bundle: 300 GE-0 Cash (17% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 360 GE-0 Cash
• Avatars (Full Renegade Skins): 300 GE-0 Cash (17% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 360 GE-0 Cash
• Outfits (Bundle including Headwear, Body, and Legwear): 225 GE-0 Cash (38% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 360 GE-0 Cash
• Outfits (Headwear Only): 75 GE-0 Cash (38% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 120 GE-0 Cash
• Outfits (Body Only): 75 GE-0 Cash (38% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 120 GE-0 Cash
• Outfits (Legwear Only): 75 GE-0 Cash (38% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 120 GE-0 Cash
• Masks: 75 GE-0 Cash (25% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 120 GE-0 Cash
• Hoverboards: 135 GE-0 Cash (25% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 180 GE-0 Cash
• Backpacks: 105 GE-0 Cash (30% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 150 GE-0 Cash
• Traversers: 105 GE-0 Cash (30% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 150 GE-0 Cash
• Lockers: 60 GE-0 Cash (33% Reduction)
  • Old Price: 90 GE-0 Cash

Further reductions may be made through sales and promotions in the future. Other items and premium content will remain unchanged, but we may reevaluate more prices in the future.
[h2]Changes to GE-0 Cash and Shop pricing in August 2024[/h2]
The following changes are coming to HAWKED in August 2024:

• The conversion rate of GE-0 Cash will become $1 for every 100 GE-0 Cash (excluding promotions and Pack bonuses), making it easier for players to calculate the intended value of items.
• In-game Shop prices will be readjusted according to the changes.
  • For example, the Premium Renegade Pass will be 950 GE-0 Cash instead of 150 GE-0 Cash (a 5% price reduction), the Premium Renegade Pass Bundle will be 1,950 GE-0 Cash instead of 300 GE-0 Cash (a 3% price reduction), and purchasing Renegade Pass Levels will cost 150 GE-0 Cash instead of 25 GE-0 Cash (a 10% price reduction). More details will be announced at a later date.
• GE-0 Cash purchased on your account will be rebalanced. You will not lose any of its value, as the change will scale with any pricing changes in-game.
• New GE-0 Cash Packs will be added to all platforms (including PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store), with old ones being retired.

• Start: Friday, May 10 at 16:00 CEST (15:00 BST / 07:00 PDT / 10:00 EDT)
• End: Sunday, May 12 at 10:00 CEST (09:00 BST / 01:00 PDT / 04:00 EDT)
• Recommended Matchmaking Times: Daily between 16:00 CEST (15:00 BST / 07:00 PDT / 10:00 EDT) and 18:00 CEST (17:00 BST / 09:00 PDT / 12:00 EDT)

Renegades can join the playtest for free via MY.GAMES Launcher,Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. 

Xbox One players can also join the party this time around!

• Ranked Mode: PvP in HAWKED gets a level-up. Match up against Renegades of similar skill on the hunt, and loot your way up the ranks!
• Map Changes to X-Isle: There’s an invasion going on, and the island’s changed with new POI (points of interest) to discover.
• New Enemies & Encounters: Take the battle to VEKTR! Tackle new traps, solve new puzzles, and get that loot.
• New Gear & Artifacts: Try out more Loadout combinations than ever before. Equip a bunch of new Gear and Artifacts, bringing all-new unique abilities to the fore. Artifacts from previous Issues can also be purchased for Hawks.
• Class Cards System: Try out the newly revamped and reimagined Class system! Collect hero cards by securing different Loadouts and hone your playstyle to perfection to earn unique buffs.
• New Weapons: Lock and load with new additions to your arsenal. Try out the FARpoint 15, Satyr, Twin Eclipse, Solar Flare, and more at the Shooting Range and on the hunt.
• Additional Contracts: Chat with Nellie to try out a variety of new challenges and see how high up the League you can climb!
• Enhanced Progression: We’re testing new ways to reward you for your play and ensure you see tangible progress faster, even if you’re not the sharpest shooter on X-Isle. Look out for changes to GRAIL Loyalty, Artifact drops, and more!

Lots more quality-of-life changes are available, with more content and improvements coming with the launch of Issue #2 on May 23.

IMPORTANT: Progress will not carry over to the full game.

GRAIL will line your pockets for exploring these brave new shores. All Playtesters will receive 10,000 Hawks, 750 Wonderium, and an exclusive Rowdy Recon Banner on the HAWKED live server when Issue #2 lands.

[h2]How to Download the HAWKED Issue #2 Playtest[/h2]
Choose your platform, follow the instructions to set up the Playtest server, and get ready to go!

MY.GAMES LAUNCHER (PC)

• Open MY.GAMES Launcher (download it here if you don’t already have it installed).
• A separate launcher called ‘HAWKED – Playtest’ will be available in the sidebar. Click to download and install it.
• Play from May 10.

STEAM (PC)

• Go to the HAWKED game page on Steam.
• Scroll down and find the HAWKED Issue #2 Playtest.
• Select ‘Add to Library’.
• Download and play from May 10.

PLAYSTATION STORE (PS5 & PS4)

Start up your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4.

• Go to the PlayStation Store.
• Select Search, and enter ‘HAWKED.’
• Select the ‘HAWKED - Issue #2 Playtest’ and add the game to your Library.
• Download and play from May 10.

MICROSOFT STORE (XBOX SERIES X|S & XBOX ONE)

• Sign in on your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary).
• Navigate to Previews > HAWKED – Playtest.
• Select Join.
• Wait for the registration to complete, and you should be directed to the Store page to install it.
• Play while the Playtest is active.

Spring is in the air, and X-Isle’s wildlife has bloomed with activity. Embrace the power of friendship and go for a brisk hunt or two, keep Nellie and Bjorn on track as you help them uncover the Disciple’s rituals for destruction, and collect bouquets of Blissblooms in the Red Spring event – active until May 16 (18:00 CEST)!

Disciples have dressed for the occasion of their strange, springtide rituals, decorating their totems with the red Blissbloom flowers that have appeared across the island. Just tribal lizards doing tribal lizard things. But there’s more to their floral rituals than meets the eye, as Nellie and Bjorn have returned from their recon trip in rather strange spirits.

Speak with Nellie to embark on the Red Spring Questline and earn the Burning Love Gear Skin. You can also extract the Vine Visage Mask by defeating Disciples across X-Isle in the relevant Quest (one Mask counts for all your Squad).

Keep your friends close and embrace the Power of Friendship throughout the event with a buff that restores stamina and health to players who are close to each other!
