Issue #1 Continues & Familiars Roam in Venture 3!

The Familiars freed in the Glyphstone ritual have chosen their Champions! Continue delving into the mysteries of X-Isle in the Venture 3 update, with all new Artifacts to discover, upgrade, and wield on your way to infamy. Also, learn how to upgrade your weapons in-match and hone your Renegade craft further with Classes.

Editor’s Note: Ventures are content updates within Issues that drive the story of HAWKED forward with new Quests, loot, and more. Issues will usually consist of four Ventures.
New Quests: Issue #1 Storyline Continues
Thanks to all your shooting and looting, the Glyphstone ritual was a success, and four Familiars emerged from within. They’ve taken a liking to a few faces aboard the Riftwake and chosen their Champions, but their release has given few answers and only posed more questions.

Good thing GRAIL’s got a group of treasure hunters on board, eh? Since you’ve got quite a bit of experience in solving mysteries… think you can crack their cryptic messages?
Loot New Artifacts
A Renegade’s work is never done! GRAIL recently discovered three new Artifacts waiting to be extracted, upgraded, and added to your Loadout along with all-new abilities.
  • Attunement Fife: The most nimble of the lost civilization served as messengers across the island. We believe these runners used this Artifact to carry their feet like the wind and hold tight to the message they carried in their minds.
    • Location: Treasury
  • Chosen’s Token: The rarity of this token suggests it was only given to a select few within the lost civilization. Some believe it's the seal of a secret society that grew within the civilization. We can only speculate if such a group served to better the civilization, or bring about its end.
    • Location: Treasury
  • Powerglass: This Artifact suggests the builders of the lost civilization were a cut above the rest. Carrying this time-keeper on their belt allowed them to work beyond their normal limitations and still feel refreshed the next day. This enabled them to build towering temples that stood the test of time.
    • Location: Venture 3 Questline

Happy hunting!
Tackle New Encounters
There have been reports of two new Encounter challenges on X-Isle! Complete them to unlock Glyphs to the Treasury.
  • Wilting Blossoms: A curious tree. Shoot the blue crystal, then shoot the blossoms that descend from the treetop. Act quickly – shoot the blossoms before they rot!
  • Door of Order: After shooting the crystal above the door, a pattern will appear on the door itself. Simply shoot the pattern to reveal the Glyph within.
Hone Your Hunting with Weapon Upgrades
You’ve got the perfect weapon but despite cracking crate after crate, no luck with the rarity. We have the solution: Extraction Points are now fitted with Upgrade Stations to enhance your weapons in exchange for CRED. You’ll never have to part with your favorite firearms again!
Renegade Classes
Do you put your partners first? Dabble more on the Gear side? Or are you more of the shoot first, loot later type?

GRAIL’s been studying the latest treasure-hunting strategies and launched a Class system to clue you up with tips and tricks based on your Loadout and how it impacts your gameplay. Whether you’re devious, ruthless, or cunning, the Class system’s here to get you on track to playing your way to infamy!

That’s just the beginning. With big news comes big updates, and we’ve got a bunch of improvements unpacked and ready to go with the new Venture. Read the full Update Notes for more!

HAWKED | Venture 3: 1.4 Update Notes

Look alive, Renegades! The following changes are available in HAWKED as of the latest update on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Update your game to play the latest version of HAWKED for free on your platform of choice.
NEW CONTENT

TACKLE NEW QUESTS AS VENTURE 3 BEGINS!
Ventures are content updates within Issues that drive the story of HAWKED forward with new Quests, loot, and more. Issues will usually consist of four Ventures.

In Venture 3, the story of Issue #1: Renegades continues. Each of the four Familiars released in the Glyphstone ritual has chosen a champion aboard the Riftwake: Cynthia, Nellie, Bjorn, and Bodhi. The champions all received cryptic messages that Renegades must help them interpret. Continue delving into the mysteries of X-Isle and help them find their destiny in a new Questline!

Use an Upgrade Station at an Extraction Point to upgrade certain weapons’ rarities from Uncommon to Rare to Epic.
LOOT THREE NEW ARTIFACTS
GRAIL has discovered three new Artifacts waiting to be extracted, upgraded, and added to your Loadout along with all-new abilities.
  • [Artifact] Attunement Fife: The most nimble of the lost civilization served as messengers across the island. We believe these runners used this Artifact to carry their feet like the wind and hold tight to the message they carried in their minds.
    • Common Quality: For every second you sprint, slide, or surf, the Attunement Fife grants an Accuracy Buff. Applied after you stop sprinting, sliding, or surfing, and with a maximum Buff duration of 5/6/7/8 seconds. Accuracy Buff reduces weapon recoil.
    • Legendary Quality: TheArtifact's Buff duration is increased by 3 seconds after performing a dodge roll.
    • Location: Treasury
  • [Artifact] Chosen’s Token: The rarity of this token suggests it was only given to a select few within the lost civilization. Some believe it's the seal of a secret society that grew within the civilization. We can only speculate if such a group served to better the civilization or bring about its end.
    • Common Quality: Chosen's Token converts 40/45/50/55% of damage taken by your Shield to healing.
    • Legendary Quality: Conversion percentage is increased to 75% if your Health points are lower than your Shield points.
    • Location: Treasury
  • [Artifact] Powerglass: This Artifact suggests the builders of the lost civilization were a cut above the rest. Carrying this timekeeper on their belt allowed them to work beyond their normal limitations and still feel refreshed the next day. This enabled them to build towering temples that stood the test of time.
    • Common Quality: If both your Exo Gear and Ward Gear are on cooldown or recharge, Powerglass reduces their cooldown/recharge time by 40/45/50/55%.
    • Legendary Quality: One Gear may be active (while the other Gear is in cooldown or recharge) to activate this Artifact's ability.
    • Location: Venture 3 Questline
BRAVE NEW ENCOUNTERS
Keep an eye out for more tricky Encounters as you’re hunting for Glyphs!
  • Wilting Blossoms: A new variation of the Encounter Secret Blossoms.
  • Interwinted Door: A new variation of the Encounter Pattern Door.
  • Disciple Camp: A new difficulty level for this Encounter.
  • Pressure Platform: A new difficulty level for this Encounter.
RENEGADE CLASSES
GRAIL’s been studying the latest treasure-hunting strategies and launched a Class system to clue you up with tips and tricks based on your Loadout and how it impacts your gameplay. Whether you’re devious, ruthless, or cunning, the Class system’s here to get you on track to playing your way to infamy!

You can access Class tips via the Loadout interface. You can also see the Classes of your squadmates on the loading screen to give you a better idea of your squad’s strengths.
NEW ENEMY: SPY DRONE
Tinker, tailor, soldier… fly! Spy Drones have been intercepted in X-Isle’s airspace. What does this airborne menace want? Better shoot first and worry about them later.
