⚝ 2nd week of Beta - Test ⚝

This week we were really productive and even changed Equipment UI. But there is something we had to change 😛

► Balance Add-In Update for:

► Menu Enhancements: Numerous menus have been updated for improved QoL and UX.
► Art and Level Design: Polished Anger Rooms in the third level; polished Sorrow Rooms in the first, second, and third levels.
► Made adjustments to the Mallory boss level, lowering the polygon count
► Sorrow Hologram copies of mechs doesn't spawn currency anymore
► Distrought Plumber doesn't explode on kill anymore
► Removed all abilities in all classes that only increase the time until activation or activation time
► Pride abilities are compatible again (Sorry!)
► Changed the way weapons gscrap value are calculated
► Localization Adjustments: Updated for English, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), and German.
► Adjusted splashscreens and updated tutorial videos
► Improved animations for Leotron

► Fixed a problem with Mallory that leads to not triggering the quest
► Fixed several bugs with the tempera quest that leads to not opening your inventory, including a base hardstuck
► Fixed a skill tree and teleport info button problem

► Fixed a bug with the treasure goblin leading to not taking damage
► Fixed an error when spawning a secret portal

⚝ First week of Beta - Test ⚝

Thanks to playtesters we managed to collect 208 pieces of feedback in just a single week. Most of those were bugs 🥵

We managed to fix 52 of those in V. 0.3.128.5205

[h3]New Features:[/h3]
► Enhanced ragdoll effects for some enemies to improve weapon impact feedback
► Added Chinese (Traditional & Simplified) and German localizations
► Unlocked and fixed the Endboss of the Sorrow Stage (but a new bug happened)
► Leveling up and skilling are no longer mandatory
► Introduced player light for better visibility in dark areas

[h3]Balance Changes:[/h3]
► Adjusted Trystia Dash mechanics.
► Modified assets and level design in various Anger and Sorrow rooms.
► Updated entries and images in the Mechionary.
► Tweaked some quests.
► Revised images and entries.
► Enlarged weapon add-in information in inventory menus.
► Altered numerous sounds and music behaviors.
► Enabled exit options in some menus.
► Adjusted the functionality of some turrets.
► Improved the input system and resolved some controller issues.
► Adjusted anger class (NERF - sorry!)
► Modified weapon Wrath repeater and laser gun (NERF - sorry!)

► Corrected bugs related to various add-ins: MasterExploder, Executioner, Atomic, Stormcloud, Bullseye, Scrapper, Glitcher, and Black Hole.
► Fixed missing trails for various bullet trails and add-in combinations.
► Resolved a hardstuck issue when using Emotional Overdrive.
► Fixed an issue in the Item Upgrade Panel.
► Addressed infinite Holoclone bug in Sorrow.
► Fixed a bug with the Distraught Plumber.
► Corrected UI issues in the Mechionary.
► Fixed option bugs in the main menu.
► Corrected base shop display/refresh issues with currencies.
► Fixed multiple bugs with the Anger avatar.
► Fixed a bug in the quest system.
► Resolved teleportation issue for the 2nd player when exiting secret rooms.

Recent Updates - Accessibility, New Content, Upcoming Beta

We want to share bits of what we were working on after the Prologue release!

[h2]Accessibility - Bullet Colors[/h2]
One of the feedback we have received a lot was unconventional projectile colors. Some even said that the bullet colors of char and enemies were swapped, making it difficult to get used to the game at first.
During our deep dive into the topic, we found out that there are 300 million color-blind people in the world, with every 1 out of 12 men having it to a certain extent.

98% of color blindness is in red-green zone, meaning 1/12 players could not play Anger char in the Pride Region. So we fixed this:

[h2]New Content - New Region & Char[/h2]
[h3]Now there are 3 regions — Pride, Anger, and Sorrow[/h3]

For the Sorrow region, The Silent Ruins, we have chosen an urban design. As the main topic of the lore is about humans leaving robots behind, this whole region is about the reminiscence of the once most populated places mech's creators used to live in.

Currently, we are working on making environments more visually readable and harmonic. As well as filling it with more content.

[h3]More unique enemies[/h3]
Mechs in the Sorrow Region are more technologically advanced and are much more disciplined, making them more fierce than any foe you have met before.
