We’re almost ready to open the gates to the Iron City once again! We’ve missed you! Once the playtest starts soon, we’ll be happy to show off a ton more content, characters and gameplay tweaks.

The purpose of this playtest is to build off last round’s feedback– for characters, RealMatch rollback netcode, lobbies and much more! You’ll be able to play with anyone in the world, so feel free to invite whoever– wherever they are, and start brawling for supremacy!

The “Juice Room” Main Menu is back, but upgraded!

MEET UP - Use meet up to form a party from two to four players. Once your party is set, you can practice in training, fight against CPUs or queue together against other live players in Teams or Free-For-All online versus.

TRAINING - Put in some lab work! Get used to any characters and explore the vast training options to become the ultimate Iron City contender. (Up to two players can play.)

ONLINE - Choose Teams or Free-For-All and get matched against anyone in the world!

SPECTATOR MODE / REPLAYS - Watch any live match or any match in the past– you can even take control of any character in any match to learn from your mistakes!

CHARACTER ARCHETYPE - Hybrid Chain Grappler / Long Reach
QUICK BIO - A skillful and agile practitioner of an ancient grappling art, Nyra is also the wielder of a peculiar set of extra limbs that bonded to her from her home village’s shrine.

A quick breakdown of both of these characters will be released over the next coming weeks. Keep your eyes peeled!

• Jive Bomber - C+D (while teammate is not jumping or being hit, 25% meter): Teleport to your teammate and perform an invincible attack!
  
  
  
  
• Switcheroo - C+D (while teammate is being hit or grabbed, 25% meter): Instantly take your teammate’s place to allow them to escape!
  
  
  
  
• Ghost Meter - Upon K.O. in Teams, you’re given a full ghost meter! 1) Performing Ghost Assist/Jive Bomber/Shock will cost meter, while successful Ghost Parries will add meter. 2) Your ghost meter will automatically replenish. 3) Losing all your ghost meter will take you out of the rest of the round, so use your resources carefully!
  
  
  
  
• Ghost Vengeance - Input any special move (as a ghost, while teammate is not blocking or being hit, 12.5% ghost meter): Perform any special attack as a ghost, next to your teammate!
  
  
  
  
• Ghost Jive Bomber - C+D (as a ghost, when teammate is grounded and not being hit, 33% ghost meter) - Teleport to your teammate and perform an invincible ghost attack!

• Pressing F1 will now turn off the music.
  
• Added a macro button for B+D together, defaulted to Left Trigger. If you’ve already mapped your buttons before this patch you must manually map this button.
  
• Fixed matchmaking for 2-person Meetup teams in Online.
  
• Fixed a disconnection issue at match start that could result in lopsided 2v1 online matches. This might return as a feature!
  
• If the game fails to establish a connection to anyone in an online match when joining, that group is now ignored when continuing the search until a match is successfully joined.
  
• Rory’s Thermal Fatigue can properly change lanes when holding down the Throw macro button, rather than requiring the A+B buttons specifically.
  
• Made Ruby’s standing collision slightly taller so Rotwang can’t fly over her at his lowest height. Ensured existing crossups still work on her.
  
• Entering Training Mode correctly keeps your chosen color.
  
• Fixed “Login Failed” for usernames shorter than 3 characters.
  
• Fixed errors in General, Ruby, and Fritz move lists.
  

Please update the build before attempting to connect online - all players will need to be on the same client version in order to play together.

Whether this is your first fighting game or you've been playing them for decades, Diesel Legacy is easy to get into, but difficult to master. The first time you launch the game, you will be taken through a short (and entirely optional) tutorial that walks you through the basics.



Welcome to the Juice Room, the central hub for all the different modes available in the beta. Simply walk your character to the different rooms and use any attack button to enter!

• TRAINING - Practice controlling your character, view your character’s command list, and master your combos at your own pace.
  
• VERSUS - Fight against bots, local opponents, or both!
  
• ONLINE - Matchmaking. Join a queue where you can practice until 3 other players connect.
  
• REPLAYS - Watch back recent matches you played… and even take control of the replay mid-playback to learn from your mistakes!
  
• MEET UP - Want to do any of the above modes with friends? Use the meet up function to form a party, then hop into any of the other modes to play together. Practice together in training, fight bots together in versus, or queue together against other players in versus.

A super energetic delivery girl who uses her rocketskates to zoom around the city. Dashing builds up her momentum, which levels up her special moves. Once you get full momentum, get in there and mix up your opponent in order to deliver the pain.



[h3]RORY[/h3]
A factory worker that has had enough of the deplorable working conditions in New Libertis and is ready to fight back. Knock your opponents down, stand them back up, go high, low or set up for a throw then bring down the big boot for massive damage.



[h3]FRITZ[/h3]
An assassin working for the shadowy organization known only as the Wynant Society. Stock up to four different kinds of poisons, each with its own unique effects, and harass your opponents from out of their range or get in close and get to stabbing.


[h3]ROTWANG[/h3]
Scientist and muscle for the head of the Mega Corporation Falcorp the pragmatic Heironymous Frazer. Using a custom flamethrower that doubles as a jet pack, you can stay away and harass your opponents with huge jets and whirlwinds of fire, or get in close and use your flight to mix them up.
