Supermoves Easter Update Available Now - Streets Level Kit, Leaderboards & More

Thank you so much for enjoying the Supermoves Playtest! Based on your feedback, we've made major improvements. We call it the Easter Update, and we've got so many sights to show you - all new levels, parkour tricks, improved visuals, level kits and more!

HIGHLIGHTS
Leaderboards
Be the envy of your friends and frenemies on the official leaderboards. Each level has their own, so feel free to conquer them...or set your own level's best time. Are you really the fastest speedrunner - or will you fade into obscurity? Time to really set the score.
New & refined parkour tricks
We've made it so you no longer have to HOLD down a button to execute a supermove - just tap to frontflip! Additionally, thanks to your feedback, we've added some new parkour tricks!

Slide Leap
Slide (Shift or LT) + Frontflip (E or RB) to perform a slide leap, leaping forward with strong momentum. Great for catching that finish line at the last second.

Wallflip
Run vertically up a wall (hold RT) and Backflip (Q or LB) to do a 180 flip in the air. Perfect for when you're cornered in Bomb Tag.

High Wire Somersault
Sick of going slow on those high wires? Don't worry, just tap E or RB to somersault across to skip the balance meter.

Special Grind
This has been in the game for ages, but just in case you didn't know, E or RB to lock into your grind, stabilizing the balance meter.
A new feel for speed
We've added all new animations for running, jumping, vaulting, climbing and wallrunning. We've also added a great effect that makes the game feel much faster at high speeds. Edges get blurred and subtle lines will appear when you are at or near max speed.
New and improved third person camera
Some players have said they prefer to play the game in third person. That is a completely valid way to play, and we've refined the camera even further. The tutorial now asks your preference (you can change modes at any time using the Action Wheel (T or Right Stick Click) or through Options menu). We've also improved animations across the board - you can expect improvements to these as we go.

New Level Kits

Welcome to New York City. You can now build new levels for Brooklyn, NYC in the Makea Editor. We've split it into two Level Kits for your convenience.
Streets, NYC
An entire road for you to fill out with parkourable objects, excellent for one-and-done Sprints or marathon-esque Circuits.
Courtyard, NYC
A spacious courtyard to built something a bit more condensed, like the next big Bomb Tag map.

Note that this Level Kit is still a work in progress. Expect more props and more enhancements as we work on them, including featured levels set in Streets.

We've also added outdoor variants of our fan favorite School Gym and Plywood Park, so you can enjoy the same vibes but with an outside perspective! Try out different weathers for these, it's pretty great.
Schoolyard, FLORIDA
The schoolyard is your playground! Build the parkour park of your childhood dreams in this nostalgic throwback of a Level Kit.
Industrial, CHICAGO
So grimy, it clings to your skin. Turn this industrial warehouse aesthetic into a freerunning paradise.

Updated Level Kits
Rooftops, SIGNAPORE
We've added awesome new buildings to explore and climb on, including some really tall dizzying ones. We can't wait to see what kind of levels the community will create. Check out "Highrise Paradise" for a taste of the new look!

Lighting and Postprocess Pass

We've updated our lighting model for the entire game, including new SSAO, light bloom, volumetric cloud system and much more. The game is about 75% prettier, give or take.

Extended Tech Test Season

We've extended our Tech Test Season, so you can get the exclusive cosmetics! More info about the rewards here.

Known issues

- Players may expect some minor movement issues, since we're rolling out some big animation updates in this build.
- Sometimes, players might get launched to the stratosphere due to a bug we're trying to find - press T or Right Stick click to open Action Wheel and Respawn to last checkpoint (RB or click).
- Ragdolls spaz out in weird ways when exploding in Bomb Tag. We're investigating.
- Some things are still not localized or not localized properly to Finnish language.
- Minor bugs may hinder movement in the Tree Tag level.
- Grind boosts may sporadically cause maximum velocity at times.
- Movement in tubes might be a bit janky since we're still smoothing out that part of the movement engine.
- Some Level Kits at night time have low visibility. We're on it.
- Experimental "Stack Mode" and "Fragile Floors" have little visual feedback in the Makea Editor.
- We do not have full controller support in menus, so please use mouse & keyboard for them in this build.

There's big news coming soon, including some amazing singleplayer stuff we've been working on. Now's an excellent time to add us to your wishlist and tell your friends as well.

 • Some item thumbnails may be missing or have the wrong lighting.
 • Sometimes, players might get stuck input in the text chat box. Restarting the game will fix it.
 • In rare cases, the player may get a movement interruption due to the new movement system incorrectly parsing an object as a ledge.
 • If you’re using the Finnish translation, it’s a work in progress and some elements are not translated or are translated improperly.

Welcome to Supermoves - the ultimate parkour party game coming 2024!

https://youtu.be/27iryazalWs

Playable with up to 40 players at once in pulse-pounding multiplayer freerunning action, Supermoves is the ultimate parkour party game with eight exciting game modes, as well as a robust single-player Career Mode with epic rewards and replayability.

Supermoves features a wide variety of deep movement mechanics, including the quintessential “supermoves,” such as performing precarious handstands and grinding on rails or wallrunning on various obstacles. Failure comes at a price, however, as deadly obstacles such as hungry sharks and suffocating ballpits await you whilst you try to pull off that ultimate trampoline backflip.

From CEO Tomi Toikka:
We were really inspired by the arcade skateboarding games of the 00’s and wanted to combine that with thrilling first person parkour. Supermoves is all about the shared thrill of conquering challenges with friends, showcasing the DNA of party games mixed with breakneck parkour movement and epic moves. Our game celebrates the art of parkour, allowing players to showcase their acrobatic skills and creativity.

Supermoves also features an extremely powerful but easy-to-use level editor called the Makea Editor, which allows any player to join up and build levels with just a controller. The Makea Editor is integrated into play and can be invoked with a flick of a switch inside the game.

Key Features of Supermoves:

🏃🏆 First & Third Person Immersive Parkour

Soar through skylines with both first & third person immersive parkour mechanics. Grind on your feet across rails, trapeze on high wires, wallrun, kong, scramble, and pull off epic backflips and frontflips on trampolines. Supermoves combines arcade elements with thrilling immersive parkour freerunning, both in single- and multiplayer in multiple game modes.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Massive Multiplayer Online Running

Face up to 40 players online in heart-stopping competitions, including braving the ever-rising ball pit in Rising Tide, the brutal Sprint and Circuit, or pulse-pounding Bomb Tag. Mix and match your experience in over 8 game modes, including the fan-favorite Obstacle Course and the nostalgic Loot mode. Chain them together into a playlist-based Royale or Tournament, eliminating the opposition to declare yourself the true winner!

👟🥇 Become the Ultimate Parkour Master

Supermoves features a full single-player Career Mode with deep replay value. After a tragic fall, you must rise again as a contender in the Supermoves Parkour Championships. Complete objectives in places like the School Gym, Rooftops, Plywood Park, Flatlands, and beyond. Can you climb the ranks and become the ultimate freerunner?

🏗️🛠️ Make Your Own Levels, Games & More

Powered by the Makea Editor, every level is crafted using easy-to-place blocks, allowing you to assemble your ultimate parkour races, game shows, obstacle courses, or chill-out spots. Remix any level you find and play them online or offline – the editor can be booted up at any time, and you can use it with your friends online, simultaneously. Share your best levels and make it all your own – the sky’s the limit!

Supermoves will be available to play in an exclusive Steam Next Fest demo in February 2024, with the full game slated for release in 2024.
