Warzone 2 meta - the top weapons for Season 1 Reloaded

Knowing your way around Al Mazrah is one thing, but you really need to know your way around the current Warzone 2 meta if you want to make the most of your time in this Call of Duty battle royale shooter. All people may be created equal, but the guns in this game aren't and some are - without a doubt - better than others.

But, that also doesn't mean that every single one of the best Warzone 2 guns is going to feature in the meta. Of course, there's going to be some crossover, but the best Warzone 2 loadouts are built around balance and taking advantage of what's on top at the time. We're all well into 2023 and Warzone 2 Season 1 now, so what better time than to take a long look at what people are doing with the weapons on offer? Well, Call of Duty content creator and Warzone wizard JGOD has suggested just that - and we actually think this is one of the best classes we've seen in a long time. Assault rifles are one of the most popular, and populated, weapon classes in Warzone 2 for good reason. Not only are they devastating in the right hands, but they can be easily adapted to suit closer-range gunfights and long-range firing.

Warzone 2 Chimera loadout best attachments and class setup

While it may not be the most powerful assault rifle in the game, our best Warzone 2 Chimera loadout makes this gun even more reliable, keeping it consistently strong for many firefights in Al Mazrah. Using our suggested attachments turns the Chimera into an almost recoil-less laser that can deal with enemies quickly and easily.

While it may not be the best in class when it comes to damage, we could see the Chimera make its way up the best Warzone 2 assault rifles list and become a strong part of the Warzone 2 meta, thanks to its overall reliability, and that's all thanks to this loadout.
