Full Release Trailer

Dear The Lost Village players, happy weekend!
We're excited to announce that after continuous updates for 1 year and 3 months and many major and minor version updates, our game will officially launch on April 8, 2024 (CST). Thanks for your support over the year.
The launch price will increase by 10%, but there will be an initial discount, so stay tuned.
At launch, we'll gift a free DLC "Sect Heirs", allowing players to cultivate successors. This DLC will be released within half a month after launch and will be free for one month.
Post-launch, we will produce at least three more DLCs, which will be free for the first month after release.
· New Gameplay

I. Sect Tournament
- Every so often, the cultivation world holds a grand tournament to witness the strength of capable disciples. Assign your followers to compete in this event against disciples from other sects.
- Prepare them with suitable skills, destiny artifact, etc., to face the challenge. Victorious disciples will earn substantial rewards and become more loyal to you. 【Sorry For the untranslated image】
II. Master Ascension
- The Sect Master has reached the Ascension X realm and will ascend to the immortal realms. He/She must endure divine punishment for defying the heavens. Arrange for disciples to protect him against the powerful thunder tribulation to achieve ascension.
- The Elder Hall will be updated post-ascension, providing permanent buffs and protection to the sect.
- After ascension, a new Sect Master will be appointed who can continue to provide protection after their ascension.
III. Sect Policy
- Players can create unique policies for their sect, affecting disciples’ productivity, combat efficiency, and disciples' mood.
- Regularly issue policies tailored to the sect’s developmental stage, like production-boosting policies for the early phase and combat/training encouragement policies for later stages.
IV. Landscape System
- The current landscaping lacks variety and benefits, which does not meet the ever-expanding management needs of players. We will enable interactions between landscapes, where placing certain buildings together may produce special effects, beyond just being visually appealing.
V. Free DLC - Heirs System (Post-Launch Update)
- After dual cultivation between sect master and disciples or among disciples, there's a chance to produce offspring;
- Players must raise these offspring until they reach adulthood, after which they join the sect;
- Players need to cultivate disciples' Elemental Roots, which ultimately could result in offspring growing up with different abilities;
- Offspring may encounter unique adventures, bringing new experiences to themselves and the sect;
- Offspring could develop a new Red Taoist Body, becoming extremely powerful fighters.
· New Content

I. New Homestead: Kun
- Added a new homestead where players can build a sect on the back of a Kun(An ancient Chinese mythical creature, a whale that can fly and burrow, very huge). Unlocked by Taoist Point after starting a new game.
II. Demonic Relic/Demon Lair
- Weakened the previous lengthy illusion gameplay, added faster and more thrilling illusions, referencing Bloody Land. This meets the player's demand to either grind or farm at will, reducing the pressure to play long illusions.
- Both game modes also follow the treasure-hunting model, taking reference from Bloody Land, so stay tuned.
III. Two New Demonic Bosses
- Having just one Spider Queen seems too monotonous, so we will add some new world bosses for players to tease and enjoy.
IV. New Additions: Weapons, Taoist Body, Skills, Dual Cultivation
- Added several orange-grade weapons (Great Axe, Longsword, Talismans)
- Added several orange-grade Taoist Bodies (Specialized in Talismans and Heavy Sword)
- Added 12 individual skills
- Added 5 orange-grade destiny artifact, which require essence souls to forge
- Added 4 new dual cultivation techniques
· Q&A on the Full Release

1. Why release the Full version? Is the game complete?
- The game currently has 3 different illusion realms, sect wars, Sect Tournament, and Master Ascensions, making up a full set of content. We believe it meets the basic requirements of a complete game, hence the full release.
- However, this does not mean the game is perfect. Like Warcraft III receiving balance patches 20 years after release, we see game optimization as endless. We'll keep optimizing and updating!
- The full release doesn’t mean stopping; it's a declaration to our team and players, moving the game into a new phase!
2. What's the difference between the full version and EA?
- The full version offers a complete game experience, unlike EA’s experimental features. It's more systematic and structured, adding much more gameplay.
- For players with hundreds of hours in EA, the new content might not seem extensive, but as mentioned, we're continuously updating, including free DLCs to enrich the game.
3. Do players who bought the EA version need to buy it again?
- After the full release, all players who bought the EA version can update to the full version for free, with no extra cost or purchase needed.
4. What are your plans for future updates?
- We'll keep optimizing for bugs, functionality, and regularly release free DLCs to reward all players. We'll continue to try new things we find interesting, like the Steam Workshop.
5. Can EA version saves be carried over?
- Yes. You can continue playing your existing saves. However, to experience new DLC content in the future, you’ll need to start a new save.
We look forward to the official release meeting you and hope you can support our small game development team.
