Multiplayer mode is coming to Survival: Fountain of Youth![/p][p]Yes, we've said that it would be impossible to implement the co-op feature in the game without changing it completely. So, it will be added as a separate game mode, without changing the core of the game. Some mechanics will need to be reworked to different degrees to support multiplayer, but the overall experience will remain the same.[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]There will be up to 4 playable characters. Our goal is to make co-op feel like a natural extension of the game — not a redesign.[/p][p][/p][p]This is still an early announcement, and we’ll share more details as development progresses. Hey, Fountain Seekers!

We're excited to share some thrilling news with you on this nice Wednesday. Survival: Fountain of Youth’s experience continues to evolve with a free update to increase the amount of fun and creativity our awesome community can have.

So, we thought it would be cool to give you the chance to experience the game as you've never been able to before. You know, cutting time on some tedious processes and letting your imagination truly shine. In other words, please welcome the free construction mode with unlimited possibilities!

The Construction Mode on consoles is coming soon, too!


So, how about building the greatest constructions imaginable in SFOY? Maybe an Eiffel Tower or a replica of some old fancy castle. Or something that has never been built before. Let your imagination shine.



And now, to the details!

You can choose the Construction mode right from the main menu. What does this new mode mean?

• Unlimited crafting and building. All recipes are unlocked.
  
• All locations are open and ready to be settled
  
• Animals don’t notice the player.
  
• No negative statuses.
  
• Immortality and flight mode (double jump to activate)
  

This mode has no character development and no story progress. All game content will become available immediately, so keep it in mind if you are a new player. In that case, we recommend playing the game in normal mode first.

Also, please note that the game performance may be affected if too many objects are created in your save.


A huge round of applause to everyone who has supported our project to this day! The game was released in Early Access over two years ago, and it's been a wonderful experience of both developing a game and interacting with our awesome players. So, we hope this update will let you explore your freedom and show off your creativity in Survival: Fountain of Youth.
