The Murder Hotel News

[p][/p][p]It's very unfortunate, but it appears the Steam Review team has not finished their review yet, as I apparently have not given them enough time, despite my best efforts to finish the game as soon as possible on the 28th August.[/p][p][/p][p]It is completely my fault, and I feel absolutely horrible that the launch does not start as planned. And please trust me, it's not because of Silksong also releasing. I already have several media outlets mentioning the game releasing today at this hour, and this just feels like a nightmare to me now.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The moment Steam greenlights the current build. It could be later today, it could be on Monday. Again, this is all my fault, as it clearly disclosed to give them enough time to review it. And the game is quite long, with an estimated playtime of over 15+ hours.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]I really, really want to apologize for this inconvenience.[/p]

[p][/p][p]If you want to continue with your savefile or bookmarks from the Demo, please go to your [/p][p]"...\\steamapps\\common\\The Murder Hotel Demo\\The Murder Hotel_Data\\StreamingAssets\\save" folder amd copy everything into the[/p][p]"...\\steamapps\\common\\The Murder Hotel\\The Murder Hotel_Data\\StreamingAssets\\save" folder.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]With the 1.0 patch on release, it will wipe all bookmarks which had been unlocked for testing purposes.[/p][p]If you were using a beta test build, please consider making backups if you rely on them.[/p][p]If you lose a bookmark that you desperately need, you can contact me on Discord to provide you with replacements.[/p][p][/p][p]Normal savefiles should be unaffected by this.[/p]

The endings are laid out, the court is structured, and the investigation phase is almost finished.[/p][p][/p][p]Still, I'm afraid I won't finish it in time.
