Version 0.74.7 - Manufacturing Multiplier

Hello!

Today I arrive with a small fix to the Manufacturing pains that have been reported. We have heard your feedback on the manufacturing and we are working towards a more interesting manufacturing future, one that has more optimizations, options and requires less planning. For the time being we hope this solution offers some reprieve.

You can now go to Settings -> Gameplay and set a multiplier for Manufacture Time from 1 to 10x decreasing the time it takes for machines to process any recipe up to ten times.



Hopefully this improves the experience for now, until we can offer something more interesting and balanced.

We're launching an Astronomics Wiki on wiki.gg
Efforts spearheaded by Alikimoko and a group of great folks he has gathered are about to yield some incredible results as we welcome the official Astronomics wiki. It has been a tremendous endeavour and we've been helping as best we can. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort, the folks at wiki.gg and especially to Alikimoko who has done the bulk of the heavy lifting. Very exciting to see this go live sometime in May.

March Update Launched last month
The post about the March update never got more than some patch notes so here's a rundown of some of the new equipment that has been introduced to the game at the end of March!

The Gravity Well
A contraption that lets you feed matter into a tiny black hole to then exert a counter force to the asteroid causing it to stop and give you more time to mine resources!

The Forcefield
A portable piece of equipment that produces a defensive shield that will block pirate bullets and prevent pirate pods from landing inside! But beware, the pirates can still walk in, just like you and the workerbots can.

The Portable Battery
A portable battery that allows you to charge out in the field. Great when paired with the workerbot delivery system. Forget going back to the shuttle - take some extra juice with you.

The Black Tidal Update
Finally a sneak peek at the Black Tidal Content we are working on for this month! The Liquid Pumps - build these near bodies of liquid and dunk the hose to start pumping! Once pools are drained you can proceed to extract the resources within!

We are still working to address some of the more urgent bugs you have reported, and improve the Manufacturing experience before this update goes out - look for those in the coming days.

We've also got some grass shader improvements that will hopefully be improving the performance, especially at higher resolutions, when the May update goes live!

Version 0.74.6 - Tiny Fixes

Hello!

Just two tiny fixes today:

  • Fixing issue with Crusher becoming un-interactive.
  • Fixing exploit introduced in 0.74.5 that allowed players to load resources onto the shuttle via the side door even after asteroid left the claim.

Version 0.74.5 - Hotfixes

Some reports of broken glyphs and edge cases caused by the new Self Destruct functionality have now been resolved!

  • Fixed glyph script showing up in certain configuration in CUBO’s dialogue.
  • Fixed Workerbot tagging icons that malfunctioned in the Gameplay Tips popup
  • Fixed Self Destruct causing items getting loaded into the Surface Crusher to become locked and unrecoverable
  • Fixed Self Destruct causing errors on Workerbot Relay & Worksite - now triggers Workerbot evacuation
  • Disabled the ability to eject inventory while inside the shuttle
  • Load Storage Cube contents into Shuttle Storage if somehow Cube ends up inside shuttle
  • Forcing Resource Chunks into the Shuttle through the Commandbot doorway now deposits those chunks into storage.

Version 0.74.4 - Hotfixes

Some more hotfixes sorting out recently reported issues!

  • Lowered transit time for jumps to Empty Space to last 5 seconds from 30 seconds (matching return to station and saving you TIME)
  • Fixed Gravity Well inconsistent behaviors when two Wells built on one asteroid.
  • Fix to Work Site that was preventing Workerbots from being unassigned.
  • Shift Click in inventory now moves all resource of a given type.
  • Fixed bug where “3” shortcut to deploy Mining Turret would stop working when standing next to something interactive.
