[h2]▣ New Challenge Stage - Academy Student Council Special Course[/h2]


A new challenge stage to create exclusive gear for Academy Student Council employees will be opened after the maintenance on the 5th of April, 2023.

 

In the Academy Student Council Special Course challenge, CEOs can get [Lost Student Notebook] which you can use to craft Exclusive Gear. Moreover, there is a small chance for the whole exclusive gear to drop after a successful run.

To craft with [Academy Student Council] Mold, you need 2,500,000 Credits, 400 [Lost Student Notebook], and 600 Advanced Gear materials.

Taskforce Plan - Counter Case Unlock Mission Requirements for Employee Employee Growth Plan will be changed.

  • Mission 5: 10 openings → 3 openings

  • Mission 9: 20 openings → 5 openings

  • Mission 11: 40 openings → 10 openings

  • Mission 15: 60 openings → 15 openings

  • Mission 19: 80 openings → 30 openings.




[h2]▣ Bug Fixes[/h2]
  1. Correction of the wrong date is listed in the attendance reward message.
  2. A Fix issue where the Quantum Coordinate Stone is not displayed on the menu in Shadow Hall.


-A fix issue where the [New Origin] Rearmed Unit Selector, which was deleted due to expiration date will be restored and the available period will be extended until before the 12th of April scheduled maintenance. ( Apr. 5th ,11:35 KST updated)

[31st of Mar. Dev Notes] First Half Update of 2023



Dear CEOs,

My name is Kim Hyun Soo, the new Head PD of CounterSide.

Today, I am here to discuss the upcoming updates for the first half of 2023.

[h2][ New Co-Op Battle Boss: Tyrant Gigas ] [/h2]



The new Co-Op Battle Boss, Tyrant Gigas is planned to be featured at the start of May 2023. Tyrant Gigas is a superior type of Tyrant Sword and Tyrant Armor, which we hope will become a new challenge to all those who enjoy Co-Op Battles.

The [Co-Op Battle Renewal] which was on the previous version of the roadmap is on hold. We concluded that the Co-Op Battle function itself is not serving its purpose to its full potential just yet.
To compensate, to allow more CEOs to participate in the Co-Op Battle, we are currently renewing the consortium UI as well as adding in practice mode without any penalties. These features will be added at the end of April 2023 to allow CEOs to use this feature to practice the new boss, Tyrant Gigas.

[h2][ Guilty Gear - STRIVE - Collaboration ][/h2]



On June 2023, a long-awaited collaboration with Guilty Gear - STRIVE - will begin! More detailed information on the collaboration will be released soon, but we can tell you this much that to maximize the attractiveness of Guilty Gear - STRIVE-, we are planning to alter the method of acquiring the collab units.

Moreover, even though the collaboration is new to the Global Server, but is a rerun for the Korean server. Meaning, these collaboration units existed for quite a long time, hence some of the collaboration units are under consideration for a balance patch. What's more, there will be an addition to the collaboration unit, hence please look forward to the event!

[h2][Jukebox System: Acquisition Condition Added][/h2]

Towards the end of May, we are planning an update on the Jukebox System where conditions to acquire each BGM will be displayed on the screen. The main goal of the Jukebox System was to give CEOs a hidden achievement of sorts and provide excitement upon clearing hidden achievements, but at this point, we have concluded that the original intent was not working.

[h2][ Policies on Buffs & Debuffs ] [/h2]

Now I will explain a bit about the buff/debuff and status effects. Before explaining them, I’d like to modify a terminology, Debuff RES. Debuff RES is basically the upper concept of just Debuff and we’re going to change it to Status Effect RES. This change will be implemented at in-game and we will notice it soon.

The functions are extremely complicated and intertwined with each other. Under these circumstances, three statuses, stun does not get influenced by Nullify Buff/Debuff effects. However, CEOs will have no way of knowing this information in-game.

Therefore, we are currently reviewing to improve the visibility or statuses that do not have any effect by Nullify Buff/Debuff, to quickly notify the CEOs what effect each unit is under.

[h2][ Gauntlet Event Mode ] [/h2]

We are also preparing a new gauntlet mode without having to worry about league downgrades. It will have a mode without applying gear stats, a modes where everyone can have a chance to use newly released units in a limited fashion, and more. We are coming up with more event modes to relieve stress from the PVP.

[h2][ Adjustments in the required Victory Points and League Downgrade][/h2]

Starting from the first Courage season, a limited PVP skin was added as a reward. However, limited to the Master league the CEOs in the Masters did not get demoted at the start of the season reset, hence, they remained on that league.

Therefore, starting from the Sincere season starting from June, CEOs in Masters will also get demoted along with the season reset. Also, we plan to adjust the required Victory Points to advance from one league to another.

[h2][ Upcoming Balance Patch ] [/h2]

We are gathering data from CEOs from the Platinum league and above of the Ranked Battle on the number of squad recruits, win rates, number of bans, and so on to pick on units to be balanced and adjusted around mid-April 2023.


[h2][ Collection Renewal ] [/h2]

Collection renewal is planned to be implemented at the start of August 2023. On this renewal, CEOs will be able to see all the bits and pieces of information that were scattered in the game in one place. Additionally, more detailed information and visual aids such as skill cut-ins of each character will be organized and added to the collection to help understand each character.

On the Global server, until the start of August 2023, the following Substreams will be released:
• The Moonless Night
• The Iron Knight
• Three to Three
• Neverland Nevermore

  1. If the submissions have elements that violate the law or contain elements that go against public morals and other social norms, then that submission will not be reviewed and voided. 

  2. If the submissions have any elements that have depictions of condemnation and are similar to any social ideologies, politics, religions, and other groups of people, then that submission will not be reviewed and voided.  

  3. Any submissions that were submitted outside of the submission period will not be reviewed under any circumstances.

  4. Any submissions that may damage the image of CounterSide or StudioBside (hereinafter “the Company”) will not be reviewed and voided. 

  5. The submissions are never to intrude on the copyrighted work of others, and if the submission is found to have intruded, then that submission will not be reviewed and voided. 

  6. If any problems arise from the unauthorized use and/or intrusion of the copyrighted work of others, then all the responsibilities are on the person who has submitted that submission.

  7. After the creator has won and collected the prizes and the Company has found out later that the creator has imitated or plagiarized from other work, the award will be canceled and the creator must return the collected reward. 

  8. Other submissions that the Company may consider inappropriate may not be reviewed and voided. 

  9. All the submissions that are uploaded to SNS should remain visible and public during the entire contest period for the host to confirm at any time.

  10. During the contest, all the rights belong to the creator who has submitted the work. The Company may contact the creator to use the submission. However, all the copyright for the nominated work belongs to the Company including the secondary derivative work. The Company may also take actions as follows.

  11. The company may post the work for advertising the contest during the event period on the official website and SNS.

  12. The nominated work may be used on the official website, SNS, and other official events permanently.

  13. The moment the creator submits the submission for the event, the Company will treat it as if the creator has agreed to all the conditions listed in the Notes section of the event. All the payments for the copyrights of the nominated work will be the prizes listed in the Prizes section.

  14. If there are no suitable submissions, the prizes may be adjusted or may not be awarded based on the number of suitable high-quality submissions. 

  15. Contest’s prizes, context, etc may change under the Company’s circumstances. 

  16. To receive the prize, the creator must agree to provide necessary personal information and other agreements for the Company to process the regulations and send the prize to the creator. 

  17. If the personal information agreement is not accepted within 30 days after the winner's announcement, it will be considered as not agreeing with the use of personal information and the prize may not be sent.

  18. If the creator does not agree to the following, the prize cannot be handed out to the creator. The Company will never use the collected personal information for other purposes and will be deleted permanently after the prizes are successfully sent to the creator. 

  19. The creator has thoroughly read and understood the Notes section, and if work is submitted, the Company will consider the creator has agreed to all the conditions in the Notes section.
