Welcome back to another devlog for Prison Survival!

Today, we’re diving deep (not literally, we hope) into one of the most essential but often overlooked aspects of prison life: HYGIENE!

Plus, let’s talk about sinks, toilets, and how water (or the lack of it) can shape the prison experience.




Prisoners need showers, but not all of them enjoy it. Some see it as a social event, others as a necessary evil. You can use shower to hide from guards, prefom some off-scene activities or relieve yourself (and your psyche)





Ever seen a grown man fight over a toilet? In our game, you will.
Not only are toilets essential for hygiene and morale, but their placement can become a tactical power move.
Who gets stuck with the one that barely even flushes?
Important but often overlooked thing!




It’s not just about looking (and smelling) good. Hygiene has a direct impact on a prisoner’s mental state. A clean, well-maintained prison can reduce tensions, while filth and neglect lead to unrest.
in every cell there are sinks that ALWAYS works.
If you for some reason can't go to showers: use this to clean your prisoner a little. Reduce your stress.

Today, we're unveiling a legend - an inmate so dangerous, even the guards hesitate before crossing him. Meet "Old boy".



We wanted to create old prisoner who feel like the final boss of prison wisdom.
Not just some frail old-timer, but a battle-worn survivor - this guy seen countless riots, betrayals, and prison escapes. And somehow, he’s still here!





Oh, and those slight Asian features?
Think classic old-school action hero meets underground crime lord.





He’s been locked up longer than anyone remembers.
Some say he was here before the prison even existed. Others whisper that he let himself get caught…
Maybe something dangerous is awaiting him on the outside?

"If they had told me it was going to be fifteen years, would it have been easier to endure?"

Ah, the prison cell. Your personal, cozy, 2x3-meter slice of heaven—complete with cold concrete walls, questionable stains, and a roommate who may or may not have a secret spoon collection.



In Prison Survival, cells aren't just for sleeping (or staring at the ceiling questioning your life choices). They serve as a central hub for various activities.





Your cell is where you start and end each in-game day. It’s your sanctuary…
Here, you can:
-Rest to regain stamina
-Stash contraband
-Talk with your "friends"
-Plan your next move



Cells aren't just for you.
Various NPCs roam the prison, and some might end up as your cellmate.



Your cell is just one part of Prison Survival, but how you use it can determine your fate. Will it be a hideout, a contraband factory, or just a place to lay low? One thing’s for sure—you won’t be getting too comfortable.

Guess what? The prison is starting to feel alive!
Why? Because our guards and prisoners are finally out of development limbo and going to do their stuff in the game environment!





The guards are here to remind you who’s boss. Dressed in crisp uniforms and armed with the latest tools of persuasion (trusty batons), they’re patrolling the prison with a strict attitude.







And then we have the prisoners—the real stars of the show (you are one of them).
These folks come in all shapes, sizes, and levels of bad attitude.

Each prisoner’s design reflects their backstory, but what really brings them to life is how they move and act.
