[Dev Log] Additional Content 2-1

Hello!

I'm excited to share the development status of the final additional content that will be updated at the end of this month. This update includes all the remaining unreleased areas and content except for the final battle.

[h2]Road of Proof[/h2]



The map related to the "Sigil of the Tree', which was previously inaccessible in the main quest, will be revealed.

The 'Road of Proof', accessible from the south of the Central Forest, is where the teachers who taught baby Ogu gather. This path leads to the final battle location, so the teachers will check if baby Ogu is ready to face the final boss.

[h2]Central Cave[/h2]





The Central Cave, connecting various parts of the Central Forest, will be revealed.

In the Central Cave, you will be able to mine two types of gems that were previously unobtainable and encounter trash monsters and puzzles related to the overall story of the game.





Additionally, with the opening of the Central Cave, entrances to it will also be added.

[h2]Apple Woods and Related Area Updates[/h2]





The quests and related areas of the Apple Woods, leading from the southwestern world to Hermit Crab Village, will be revealed. Small quests involving 'Panpan', who runs the orchard, as well as the mountain path connected to the Apple Forest and Bee Village, will be updated.

[h2]Harbor Town Quest[/h2]



A small quest will be added to Harbor Town.

[h2]Others[/h2]

The northern area of Sky Island and the ruins of the Moon Forest Cave will become accessible. Additionally, about 20 new Piece of Artifact will be added to complete all museum collections.

[h2]Schedule[/h2]

This update is scheduled for the end of April. Following this, development of the final boss fight and final testing will proceed, with an official release planned for the end of July.

  • Fixed an issue where interaction with fish at some fishing spots was not possible.
  • Corrected the issue where the list of patrons in the credits did not display in full.

  • Fixed an issue allowing access to certain areas of the Trial of the Waterfall map.
  • Corrected discrepancies between the actual map layout and the map images.
  • Fixed the issue where Dark Village was not marked as a "Happy State" area.

  • Fixed an issue where conversation with some bug villagers was not possible.

  • Fixed the issue where the sound effect of the Cowboy Hat was playing incorrectly.

Here are the patch notes for version 0.5f, released on March 10th.

  • Fixed bugs in new hats that have skills to obtain additional items from enemies.
  • Modified the Orang front cutscene to only play once.
  • Fixed an issue where the decorating slide object wasn't working.


[h2]Maps[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in empty spaces on the map of the Temple of Dance.
  • Fixed layer organization bugs for some objects in the Jelly Quarry shortcut map.
  • Fixed an issue where players couldn't talk to the unemployed bugs in the Light Research Institute.

  • Made some revisions to Kiki's dialogue.

[Patch Note] Update History

Hello, for your pleasant gameplay experience, we quickly fixed and patched the bugs reported through Discord after the Thursday 0.5 version update. Below are the modifications made so far.

[h2]Maps and Content[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue where entering the Trial of the Waterfall boss map again would start a battle without the boss.
  • Fixed a bug where doors wouldn't open when re-entering the Thunder Island boss map.
  • Corrected an issue where hats could not be obtained even after clearing the puzzle on Penguin Island.
  • Fixed occasional freezing during tennis matches.
  • Resolved bugs related to new hats with skills applied, such as the Volcano Hat and Cowboy Hat.
  • Adjusted the field image and obtained image of the new totem to match.
  • Corrected inappropriate reset locations for new puzzles.
  • Fixed the issue of inappropriate items appearing at the fishing spot at the entrance of Dusky Town.
  • Addressed the exploit allowing quick acquisition of quest items in Dusky Forest using the SoongSoong Balloon.
  • Corrected instances where players could access physically unreachable areas in some maps.
  • Updated map images to accurately reflect actual terrain.

  • Fixed an issue where Baby Ogu's second swing would sometimes miss.


  • Corrected occasional errors occurring while drawing the picture diary.
  • Addressed the issue of outer jungle enemies obstructing each other's movement.


[h2]Text[/h2]
  • Added missing dialogue for "Dolph".
  • Updated "Alma's" phone dialogue to align with the update.


[h2]Sound[/h2]
  • Added missing sounds for new hat skills.
  • Fixed the issue of overly loud sounds when completing puzzles in the Temple of Cooking.

Hat Skill & Additional Content Update

[h2]Hat Skills Added[/h2]

Skills have been added to about 20 hats that previously had no functions, and upgrade stages have been introduced.
The list of hats with changes includes:

  • Warrior's Mask
    - Changed to gain an increase in attack power instead of increasing critical hit rate.

  • Owl Mask
    - Gains a movement speed increase effect.

  • Fairy Hat
    - Occasionally gain consumables from enemies, with an upgraded version added.

  • Fairy Bandana
    - Sometimes the effect of consumables triggers one more time.

  • Knight's Helmet



    - An upgraded version has been added.

  • Pinwheel Hat
    - Running slightly adds an excited state.

  • Caterpillar Mask



    - The motion changes when dancing, and instead of healing, you gain an attack power increase effect.

  • Desert Goggles
    - Movement speed is increased only in desert regions.

  • Beak Gas Mask



    - An upgraded version that works like a hot spring in poison puddles has been added.

  • Straw Hat
    - Cannot jump but always remains in an excited state.

  • Cowboy Hat



    - Allows for loading bullets by rolling, with the number of bullets that can be loaded varying depending on the upgrade stage.

  • Volcano Hat
    - Changed to summon exploding volcanoes when touched by enemies.

  • Sailor Hat



    - Allows throwing fish from the inventory to attack.

  • Navigator Hat
    - Occasionally obtain salt from enemies.

  • Squid Hat
    - Squirts ink to hide from enemies.

  • Shark Hat



    - Summons a ghost shark to attack enemies.

  • Cold Hat
    - Instead of slowing nearby enemies, it summons an area at the headbutt-strike point that slows enemies.

  • Fur Hat
    - Increases maximum health by 5 only in Snowland regions.

  • Earflap Hat
    - Sounds become muffled.

  • Straw Hat
    - Summons weeds depending on the surrounding terrain.

  • Rubber Duck Hat
    - Makes a funny sound.

  • Viking Hat
    - An upgrade stage has been added.

  • Dance Hat



    - A new hat obtained from the Temple of Dance, changes the background music and produces cool effects when dancing.

  • Blanc's Hat



    - A new hat obtained from Dusky Town, can make underwear shine when getting close to panty bugs.

  • Catapult Hat



    - A new hat obtained from the Waterfall of Trials, can break hard objects.

  • Penguin Hat



    - A new hat obtained from Penguin Island, can make you look like a penguin.

Changed to a notation that shows progress, current health, and gold possession.

[h3]Collectible System Improvement[/h3]
- When you obtain a new collectible, it is immediately displayed when opening the adventure journal.

- If you see text related to that collectible, like making a call to a friend, the information is updated in the adventure journal.



[h2]System[/h2]

- The gold acquisition from overall game content has been adjusted, and accordingly, the value of items and quest rewards have changed.

- The variety of items sold by village merchants has been expanded.

- If you recover health beyond the maximum with food, you gain a cheerful state for 3 seconds per amount recovered.
