[h2]PC Closed Beta will be extended until September 15![/h2]

We’re thrilled (and more than a little humbled) by the awesomeness of both your reception to HYENAS and how things have gone in the PC Closed Beta so far. Together, we’ve already created some memorable moments and learned a heck of a lot in the process.

But they say you can have too much of a good thing, right? Wrong!

To that end, we’re pleased to announce we’re extending the PC Closed Beta until September 15. More HYENAS for you and more time to test things in the background for us.

We’re taking this opportunity to really push some buttons and crank some levers on our side. Most likely you will be unaware of anything happening but some of you may have a slightly bumpy experience at times.

Rest assured though, it’s all intentional and under control and there’s plenty of time to gather your crews, raid plunderships, and reclaim that all-important Merch!

[h2]Featured Hyena: El Silbón [/h2]

Unlock her at a (rather hefty) discount, complete challenges and earn her exclusive Closed Beta skin.

When Izzy served as a sniper on Earth, her SWAT team nicknamed her ‘'El Silbón' after a vengeful, Venezuelan mythical creature.

Izzy’s last case before The Crack was chasing a serial killer who taunted her by stealing her handle. Now she has evidence that the serial killer is still alive and may even be a fellow Hyena on The Taint, so Izzy sits in the shadows as she continues her search and lets her rifle 'Cantante' do the talking.

🔫 Weapon: Cantante
A bolt action sniper rifle with precise aiming, that’s excellent at long-range and causes high burst damage. Weak at short-range with low damage-per-second because of its slow firing rate.

🎯️ Ability: Scanning Beacon
Izzy can fire a scanning beacon which will scan the area it lands in for enemy targets. The beacon will reveal the outline of targets through walls and other cover to track their location and movements.

🔭 Perk: Spotter
Mark enemies instantly by breaking their shields or using Izzy’s beacon ability. Marked enemies are highlighted to your crew and take extra damage if they're hit while they're marked.

[h2]Featured Hyena: Hero-Ki[/h2]

He thought he could slip by undetected, but today’s Featured Hyena is Hero-Ki!

Unlock him at a (rather hefty) discount, complete challenges and earn his exclusive Closed Beta skin.

Hiroki's cosplay and charity work made him a minor internet celebrity back on Earth, but after being evacuated to The Taint, he's had to put his skills with a glue gun towards less innocent pursuits.

His crewmates see him as naïve, but Hiroki's love of pop culture and hatred of bullies overrides any respect he once had for authority - especially if he finds materials for a new character costume.

🔫 Weapon: Hummingbird
A short-range, easy to use, silenced SMG. Best used firing from the hip, with great mobility and good DPS. Weak at medium-range with a low burst damage potential.

📸 Ability: Disguise Camera
Hiroki uses a specially modified camera to capture a target’s likeness and cosplay as them. When cosplaying as a Hyena on a rival team, only the sharpest-eyed rival will be able to detect the clues that reveal him as an imposter. If cosplaying a MURF, he will be ignored by other MURFs until the disguise breaks.

🕵️ Perk: Oh Hi!
Manually removing Hero-Ki’s disguise by holding the ability button triggers a flashbang to stun your enemies, creating the perfect opportunity for a surprise attack!
