Update 0.3 | Peren  

[p]Greetings Carants!  [/p][p][/p][p]What better way to accompany a new update than a brand-new area, awaiting your exploration? Welcome to Peren, an ancient city held by the Congregation of Merchants. Once the capital of the Astrian civilisation, it opens its ornate gates to you, the player, and invites you in.  [/p][p][/p][p]So ready your fancy hats. It’s time to put them to good use and impress the locals. Or you can terrorise them with your hatless form, of course; however, beware their judgmental gazes!  [/p][p][/p][h2]DISCOVERIES [/h2][p]Opening doors in a dramatic way is just a lifestyle here [/p][p][/p][p]With its impressive buildings towering over you, your journey now takes you to Peren. Seat of the powerful de Vespe family, to whom Sybille belongs, and known for many things including their rivalry with the d’Orsay’s, you’ll find countless embassies and places here. Take a leisurely stroll down canals snaking through the city, a break near a park, or admire massive statues and fountains scattered around – there's plenty to do in these bustling streets.  [/p][p][/p][p]Do you think one of these skeletons does companion revivals for 200 gold?   [/p][p][/p][p]It doesn’t end there: not only is it populated by grand buildings, but you’ll also find catacombs deep beneath the city. Flickering candlelight and skulls will greet you as you enter, dusty paths leading further down into this grim location.   [/p][p][/p][h2]THE MALICHOR'S SPREAD[/h2][p]They say X marks the spot, but I'm not too sure about this one...[/p][p][/p][p]Sadly, this shining city hasn’t escaped the malichor’s frightening grasp either. Many homes, particularly in the old town, have been marked with a white X: a sign of its passing. Though not as badly hit as Serene, it still bears its scars – scars you’ll see as you descend further through the winding streets. [/p][p] [/p][p]Careful not to get ensnared in the noble’s machinations either. There are many powerful ones within the city’s walls, and some may try to get you involved with their distasteful plans. [/p][p][/p][h2]NEW STORIES, MORE QUESTS[/h2][p]“You have my sword.” “And my bow.” “And my hat!” [/p][p][/p][p]Not only will you get this new location, but you’ll also gain the continuation to the main quest, alongside other side quests. With ever-deepening mysteries, there's plenty to discover in this opulent land.  [/p][p][/p][p]This will all be available to you on the 17th of November.
