S18 is finally here bringing loads of QoL and an Eternal Frost with it With a brand new battle pass filled with holiday goodies and 2 new class reworks!

But that’s not all throughout the season we will have the return of some fan-favorite events such as Sub Zero, Oryxmas, and the Oryxmania Rumble all with brand-new twists! Continue reading below to find out what’s available RIGHT NOW:

[h2]Season 18 - The Eternal Frost[/h2]

Millennia ago, an unforgiving ice age nearly consumed the realm, erasing countless ancient tribes and leaving only a few to endure the frozen desolation. Though the frost mysteriously receded, its shadow looms again with the return of the Harbinger of Frost, his hollow, icy heart untouched by mercy. Flanked by his devious advisor and chilling allies like the Permafrost Lord and Jack Frost, the Harbinger seeks to plunge the world into an Eternal Frost, commanding a relentless legion of cold.

Now, only the players can rise as the realm's final hope, battling through frostbitten legions and unyielding commanders to shatter the Harbinger’s icy grip and prevent the world from succumbing to a frozen eternity.


These patch notes are very long so we’ve summarized everything into a quick overview below:

  • Class reworks: Both the Huntress and the Samurai received overhauls to their abilities to improve their game feel and have them feel as powerful as our other more modern classes.
  • QoL: More quality of life improvements than can be counted! But to name a few; Greater Potions now only count as 1 slot in the potion rack, a new button has been added to the potion rack to auto consume all potions of a stat type until maxed, improvements to the visibility of locked doors and keys in Davy Jones’ Locker.
  • New Realms: We say goodbye to the old realms and now all realms that spawn will be new realms! Additionally, a new feature to have some control over which encounters spawn has been introduced.
  • Holiday Cheer: Oryxmas Nexus and a Frozen Castle have made their return.
  • Splash: New holiday-themed splash art has been added to the game.


[h2]Battle Pass[/h2]

As always, a new season means a new Battle Pass. Start your journey on a fresh new seasonal character, finish Missions, and gain some tasty Battle Pass EXP.


[h2]Missions[/h2]

New Season means new Missions! It’s time for you to collect all those rewards and finish your Battle Pass on the way.


Additionally, we have added a new tab for you to more easily see your active missions as well as which missions you’re able to claim!


[h2]Crucible[/h2]

A new Crucible appears with this Season. Like last season, this crucible can not be removed once active, so choose wisely!

  • Reduced healing by 25% from pets, potions, and external sources.
  • Reduced defense by 5
  • 10% BXP boost
  • 10% EXP boost
  • 20% loot boost


Additionally, Crucible Rings have made a return and can be acquired every 18 hours by completing the last mission on the crucible branch of the mission tree!

[h2]Nexus[/h2]

While Christmas is still a bit away, the Nexus is already overflowing with holiday cheer!

[h2]The Realms[/h2]

When we released the Realm Rework to open beta in April of this year, we continued to keep the old realms open for the players who wanted to stick with the more polished and less buggy realms (at the time). From all the feedback the players have given us over the past 8 months, we were able to continually improve upon the Beta Realms to the point where we now feel comfortable with the Beta Realms being the definitive Realm of the Mad God experience. Starting in Season 18: The Eternal Frost, we will be sunsetting the Old Realms and have a minimum of 2 of the Reworked Realms.

While we are taking the Realm Rework out of beta, we are not done making improvements either! Here are a few of them that are available with this release:

Reworked Encounter Spawning Mechanism

  • Encounters will now have a 25% chance of spawning when reaching a certain amount of score within a biome.
  • If players are looking to fight Cube Gods, for example, they should go to the Sprite Forest to guarantee that a Sprite Forest encounter will spawn.
  • Only 1 Encounter of a given type can be active at once, see what strategies you can make!
  • New Fame bonuses have been added for killing enemies within a given biome.
  • The “Cavalry Lance” biome UT has had its effect activated.


Additionally, for the Eternal Frost Season beacon guardians have received some festive reskins! If you’re lucky, you may find yourself looting an Oryxmas Ornament from the Veteran beacon encounters 👀.

Class Reworks[/h2]

Next up are our class reworks of the Huntress and Samurai! When it comes to the Huntress we wanted to make its AoE / Trapping capabilities feel more impactful in the current era. To do this we have made two major changes to the way her abilities work:

  • Like all of our previous class reworks, we have added StatMod scaling to the Trap ability, allowing it to scale any part of its effects with a chosen stat.
  • Secondly, when an enemy activates a trap, it will cause an AoE explosion like it currently does on prod. Additionally, a number of enemies (dependent on the trap type and player stats) closest to the epicenter of the explosion will have a “Sticky Bomb” attached to them. This sticky bomb will grow in size and then shortly deal damage in an AoE around the enemy.
  • Finally, we have buffed a handful of bows that we felt were underperforming
  1. Warmonger: 10Dex while in-combat→ -5 Dex while in-combat
  2. Warmonger (Rehearsal): 10Dex while in-combat→ -5 Dex while in-combat
  3. Thousand Shot: Now ignores enemies defense.
  4. Bow of the Void: 5.6 range, wiggly → 6 range, less wiggly
  5. Resplendent Bow: No longer removes 10 dex from player when hit + 50 min damage
  6. Coral Bow: Increased min and max damage by 5.


For the Samurai, while we did feel that this class left a little to be desired, we also did not feel that it needed a complete overhaul of the Wakizashi ability. For this reason, the Samurai class ability received what we will now be called a Class Modernization.

A class Modernization aims to improve classes that we feel need just a small bump in order to increase their enjoyability. In the case of the Samurai, we have added statMod scaling to its ability which will allow the player to increase the abilities strength and the number of projectiles that the Wakizashi will fire.

Lastly, for all tiered Wakizashi’s we have changed the angle at which the projectiles fire in order to improve the game feel when using this ability

[h2]Quality of Life[/h2]

For this holiday season, one of our core aims is to give ourselves the proper time to add a lot of well-needed Quality of Life to improve different areas of the game.

  • The maximum number of equipable emotes has been increased to 8.
  • In the potion vault, a new button has been added to consume all pots of a given type until the character is maxed.
  • Greater potions now only take up 1 inventory slot instead of two.
  • The “Favorite” feature has been expanded to titles and entrance effects.
  • When favoriting a title or an entrance effect, all newly created characters will automatically have these cosmetics equipped.
  • A new “Blank” prefix and suffix titles have been added for players who don’t want to use both kinds of titles when customizing their characters.
  • A new “The” prefix title has been added for a similar reason.
  • In Davy Jones’s locker, locked doors that have been found will have an icon on the Mini Map until the door gets unlocked.
  • Each Key in Davy Jones’ Locker has been given a unique shape that matches its associated lock icon to assist colorblind users.
  • Davy Jones’ can now have Curse applied by Mystic orbs.
  • You can now gift friends skins when purchasing in the shop.
  • Portals of Cowardice will now spawn after the first or second boss of the Secluded Thicket is completed for cases where the player would like to leave early.
  • Dazed Effect has been removed from El Dorado’s grenade attacks.
  • All tiered armors have had their tiers reduced by one to make Weapon and Armor tiers consistent.
  • For instance, previously the Tier 1 “Robe of the Neophyte” is now Tier 0.
  • All items will continue to drop from where they previously dropped.
  • All newly created characters will start with a T0 armor.
  • Seasonal Spoils Chest sprite has been revamped.
  • Seasonal Character Converter has been given a unique sprite.
  • High Tech Terror:
  • In High Tech Terror when there is only 1 switch left, F.E.R.A.L. will no longer move to that pool and prevent players from progressing.
  • A.E.G.I.S. Shields are now prevented from targetting the southwest switch on initial spawn.
  • M.E.R.V. now fires an indicator on his path before moving.
  • Fungal / Crystal Caerns:
  • Dwarf Miner Encounter now properly always shows a minimap icon.
  • Crystal Cavern Crystals have had their projectile speeds reduced by 40 to match those of the ones in Fungal Caverns.
  • Reduced the Stun Duration of Large Red Mushrooms.
  • Reduced the Weak Duration of Large Purple Mushrooms.
  • Fixed stacked shots when fighting against the Crystalized Fish.
  • Increased the size of the Crystallized Scorpion while in his clone phase.
  • When getting teleported to the Crystallized Entity, all players are Invulnerable.
  • Reduced the length of Ocean Trench, Sulfurous Wetlands Third Dimension, and Abyss of Demons.
  • Reduce enemy density and damage of Stinky tiles in Wetlands.
  • Reduced invulnerability times of both bosses in Wetlands.
  • Lowered the number of phases per fight of Heart of the Wetlands to 6 from 7.
  • Increased the chance for a treasure room spawn in Abyss of Demons.
  • Readded Shadow Cube Serpent bite animation.
  • Stasising Anti-Spectors just before Oryx Dies should no longer cause them to stay alive longer.
  • Key Fairies drop a random key instead of a Mystery Key item.
  • Key Fairy key drops are now guaranteed, there is also an additional chance for 2 more players to receive a key.
  • Key fairies now grant players dust, amount, and kind depending on tier.
  • Completing Advance Nest or Advanced Steamworks grants players an additional Exaltation.
  • A class bias has been added to Oryx 3 to make it more likely you receive an ability for your class.

The Halloween Event has come to an end, and it's time to jump in the second part of Season 17. The second part of the battlepass is going live today, together with a new batch of missions to help you completing it. Also, we have a bunch of improvements for the Spectral Penitentiary, and Quality of Life changes!

[h3]Alien Event[/h3]

The visitors are back! You can find them strolling around the Realm, searching for samples.

[h3]Realm Events[/h3]

You will be able to encounter the upgraded Commander Calbrik in New Realms in the Abandoned City region. The alien event will start after the Realm Score reaches 65 000!

[h3]Dungeon Events[/h3]

During the whole event starting on the 5th of November until November 19 we will have events in the:

  • Malogia - Chest Events + 25% Chance to spawn another Alien Wormhole Mod + Guaranteed Uranium Shard x1
  • Untaris - Chest Events + 25% Chance to spawn another Alien Wormhole Mod + Guaranteed Uranium Shard x1
  • Katalund - Chest Events + 25% Chance to spawn another Alien Wormhole Mod + Guaranteed Uranium Shard x1

The first part of this season is coming to a close, and it’s time start with the second one! You can continue using your current seasonal characters and complete new Missions, progress in a fresh Battle Pass, and hunt for new shiny.

  • Kogbold Multitool Blueprint now counts as a Realm White for forge.
  • Skull of Corrupted Souls shiny now counts as a Cult White for forge.

[h3]Spectral Penitentiary Revisions[/h3]

  • UGC designer Marshmalla has been reading all the player feedback and has brought another wave of game feel and balance revisions to the Penitentiary.

  • Fixed Command Cornea reducing player weapon damage to 0%.
  • Reduced MP cost of Overwhelming Axehead from 200 > 150
  • Changed Cackling Straitjacket's Generalized Insanity proc to an On Shoot, proc chance nerfed to 1% (activates much more consistently)
  • Sinister Syringes VIT reduction reduced from -100 > -50
  • Damnation VIT reduction reduced from -100 > -50
  • Ocular Entrapment slow AoE and Eyebawl detection range increased from 1.5 > 3 tiles
  • Pandemic Poison MP cost reduced from 100 > 90 to match Plague Poison (this was an oversight, my bad)
  • Increased Boundless Vessel's WIS bonus from 15 > 20
  • Completely reworked Jailer's Scythe, fixed XP bonus, and now counts as a Realm White


[h3]Balance Changes[/h3]

  • Changed hardmode HP multiplier from 1.5x > 1.35x
  • Slightly increased Administration Branch (North) hardmode timer
  • Nerfed some large and medium enemies across all branches to be less mean (Wandering Wailer no longer petrifies, Elite Skeletal Guard is less lethal, etc.)
  • Standardized decoy deletion ranges and cooldowns across all bosses and phases to be more reasonable (decoys are easier to use, normal mode only)
  • Lobotomik is no longer immune to being slowed
  • Reduced sicken duration on Lobotomik's cauldron phase outer turret projectiles (3s > 1.6s)
  • Oculon no longer starts rotating at the same point every time during her clones (red) phase
  • Removed unintuitive melee-range sicken AoEs from Oculon's radar (green) phase
  • Oculon can no longer roll into double walls in normal mode during her chomp (brown) phase
  • Lowered base HP on Oculon's green counter eyeball during her absorb (red) phase
  • Nerfed damage on Oculon's green star projectiles (from minions) in her traffic (green) phase
  • Doubled lifetime of initial indicator shapes during Oculon's memory (brown) phase so they are easier to memorize
  • Murcian and his keys now move slightly faster depending on their rotation radius
  • Murcian now slows down when a player is within 5 tiles of him for more accessible damage uptime (pre-50% only)
  • Murcian's petrify projectiles no longer deal damage
  • Murcian's clones in his Skuld mirror phase are now damageable and explode into their usual AoE when killed
  • Murcian no longer shoots during his roulette phase
  • Updated Murcian's movement in some phases where it was difficult to follow him (padlock clock, roulette)
  • Murcian now transitions into his final phase immediately upon reaching his 10% threshold
  • Murcian no longer forces you to wait another full light cycle after killing all the keys during Afraid of the Dark
  • Reduced shot density in HM Afraid of the Dark
  • Murcian now has a 50% chance to provide an additional Attack exaltation in hardmode
  • Murcian now drops greater potions in both normal and hardmode
  • All bosses have received tiered drop rate increases


[h3]QoL Fixes[/h3]

  • Spectral Jailer now has a unique minimap icon for easier hunting
  • Spectral Penitentiary now drops from Skeletal Centipede (replaces Crawling Depths drop)
  • Rations can now be shared and traded between fellow inmates (Spectral Prison Ration is now tradeable)
  • Boss teleporters now teleport you 2 tiles below the center of the room to prevent unintended deaths
  • Moved cowardice portal a couple tiles north to prevent accidentally entering it when spamming the return teleporter (my bad y'all)
  • Torture Branch (West) slimes now have a 5s timer upon leaving their detection radius before disappearing
  • Torture Branch (West) slimes now spawn 0.2s faster
  • Enemies now enter a new retreat state after entering a switch's range to prevent enemies from crowding in front of hallways (particularly the first room of a branch)
  • Lowered size of Gretch's shovel phase indicators and increased visibility of AoE
  • Lowered opacity of red floor indicators to be easier on the eyes

  • Added Penitent Frog Pet Skin to Murcian's drop table (oops, it was on the quest chest at least)
  • Fixed an incorrect description on the Vial of Soul Extract

Halloween is upon us! Totalia and the Zombie Horde are invading our Realms. Go fight off the hordes of zombies, loot Candy Piles and Event Chests, finish brand-new missions, and take part in our Free Campaign for some tasty rewards! Additionally, nearly 200 Skins will be discounted in our shop!

Halloween Event[/h2]

It seems like every year the Realm gets invaded by hordes of Zombies, and a Witch, while Oryx is busy jumping into his favorite Halloween costume.



You will be able to encounter Totalia the Malevolent in New Realms. With a new loot table, facing off against the wandering witch will be much more rewarding than last year, including a class-biased drop for Halloween Costumes and more!

She will spawn depending on the current Realm Score:
  • Totalia will spawn at 15, 50, 85 % Realm Score.


Zombie Hordes are appearing all over the New Realms! If you’ve been looking for a way to get Soul Collector Engravings, it may be time to consult the undead Bonegrind! Beat them and collect some skins and more!

  • The Zombie Horde will spawn at 40, 60, 80 % Realm Score.

[h3]Realm Dust Drop[/h3]

Realm Encounters and Beacon Guards will drop green, red, and purple dust during the event. Some of them will also be wearing their Halloween costumes to better fit into the Halloween Season!
Realm Encounters and Beacon Guards will also have a chance to drop items like stat maxing candies.

Beacon Guards that normally have a chance to drop the Angelic Bard Set will now also have a chance to drop the pieces for the Demon Guitarist Set.

[h2]Halloween Season Updates[/h2]

Have you tried “trick-or-treating” yet? If you wear a Halloween costume, change your skin with it, and then ask nicely for candy, some spooky characters (4 of them to be exact) will give you some treats! Or they might just hand out some tricks as well!

Secret Powers Unlocked[/h3]

  • All Halloween costumes have had their Secret Power procs unlocked! These special effects will consume 1/4th of your meter on ability used to create a powerful themed attack.
  • Halloween costumes will still change your skin free of meter charge, but will now last 60 seconds with a cooldown of 30 seconds.
  • The Halloween costume maximum meter was raised by 50% and the bonus meter from Candies was also raised by 50%. This can also be seen as a reduction in effectiveness from non-Candy sources to charge the costume meters.
  • When activating your secret powers, your characters might become a bit more talkative!


[h3]Balancing Updates[/h3]
  • Hallows Horseman HP is reduced to 7500 and spawns 30% more often.
  • Graverobber Lantern Holder now drops Haunted Cemetery at a 100% rate.
  • Bug Fixes
  • Risen Hell candies should no longer have abnormally high HP.
  • Candies that spawn from dungeons or trick-or-treating will allow 1 second of damage before becoming killable, to allow players to more easily get soulbound damage.
  • The Exaltation Banner mod in The Shatters will now randomly choose between an ATT, LIFE, or MANA banner.


[h2]Spectral Penitentiary Revisions[/h2]

Marshmalla, UGC creator of the Spectral Penitentiary dungeon, has been reading and reviewing all of your feedback.

  • Mark of the Soulwarden and Vial of Soul Extract can now be placed in Forge Material Storage.
  • HP Scaling has been reduced in a way that benefits mid-size groups.
  • Branch speedrun timers and group scaling are both more lenient to allow easier speedrun access.
  • All minibosses damage cap at 50% HP instead of 30%.
  • Some large enemies (Admin / Torture branches) deal less damage.
  • Removed unnecessary invulnerability periods from many enemies.
  • Dead Medic no longer inflicts Hallucinating, and now inflicts Hexed.
  • Oculon traffic phase has reduced damage.
  • Lobotomik sutures phase has reduced damage and increased pattern gap size.
  • Lobotomik's crab transformation should no longer get stuck.

These patch notes are very large, so we’ve summarized everything in a quick overview below:

  • Spectral Penitentiary, the new Exaltation dungeon, releases today and can be found in Veteran Biomes.

A new Crucible appears with this Season. This time around it's for seasonal characters only and it cannot be removed! So choose wisely.

Only seasonal characters can enter this Crucible, and once the Crucible is applied to the character, it cannot be removed.

While Skuld’s magic could easily manipulate the souls of beings across the realm, the emergence of powerful new forces has threatened to alter the natural order of death.

In order to address this unprecedented new danger, Skuld declared an order to reopen the very dimension that had locked away her past.



Welcome to the Spectral Penitentiary! I'm Marshmalla, and I’ll be your guidance counselor in your journey to fulfill your afterlife sentence. Before we begin the tour, I’d like to give a shoutout to our benefactors, as we wouldn’t be able to operate without them.

Without further ado, let’s get started!

Contrary to the usual event boss, the dungeon will drop from an uncommon enemy appearing in all veteran biomes, but that doesn’t mean they won’t go down without a fight. After all, Skuld doesn’t want to make too much of a fuss.



The first place you’ll be sent after your arrival will be the courtyard, where you’ll be greeted by our wonderful Soulwarden Murcian. He’ll fill you in on some details about how things operate on the Penitentiary before sending you on your way to one of the four unique branches of the dungeon.



After exiting a branch’s starting room, you’ll be given a specific job to do before you’re able to interact with the branch’s boss. The bar in the top left corner will track your progress along the way.



Bosses will administer harder challenges and more rewards to those that can prove their capability to complete tasks under an allocated time limit. The more people you have, however, the quicker you’ll need to work!

After visiting two out of the four branches, you’ll get to participate in a meeting with the Soulwarden himself. He’s delighted to have you here and wants to be sure that those who are worthy will continue to better themselves into even stronger citizens of the realm. To assist in this endeavor, Murcian will reward an Attack Exaltation to those who can pass his examination.

This will conclude our tour of the Spectral Penitentiary! I hope that you all enjoy the hard work we put into our facility and settle down nicely, as we expect your stay to be PERMANENT.

[h2]Technical Improvements[/h2]

  • Proximity HP Scaling has been added to New Realms. Encounters gain +10% HP for each player within 50 tiles.
  • Prior to this change, encounters would gain HP for every player in the entire Realm.
  • New Realm Encounter spawns are limited to unique alive encounters.
  • What this means is that there can no longer be two Ancient Kaijus on the map at the same time.
  • Minimap zoom scaling has been improved for use in the Realm and in other large maps.
  • When swapping between items that grant MaxHP / MaxMP bonuses, your stat value in either of these gauges will no longer be lost on swap.
  • Items that change your skin, such as Halloween Bottles or Evolutionary Records, can now overwrite each other on demand.

  • XP Bonus and Feed power have been revised on tiered rings.
  • Bloodshed Ring gained +2 WIS.
  • Magical Lodestone gained +30 HP.
  • Sourcestone gained two new procs: “Source of Life” and “Source of Magic”
  • Omnipotence Ring gained +10 HP, +10 MP, +1 DEF, +1 SPD, +2 VIT, +2 WIS.
  • Ring of Decades and The Forgotten Ring now have 160 HP.

    As a result of HP loss from tiered health rings, all classes are receiving a minimum of +30 HP to their maximum HP. Certain classes may receive more than +30.
  • Maximum HP is standardized across classes based on their weapon type:

  • Dagger / Bow: 750 maximum health
  • Staff / Wand: 700 maximum health

[h2]Haunted Cemetery Reconstruction[/h2]

For this Halloween season, we decided to give the Haunted Cemetery a reconstruction. We added new art, fresh enemy behaviors (make sure to not lose your favorite character), and much more!

  • Haunted Cemetery received a full redesign with new art and enemy behaviors.
  • Haunted Cemetery now has the following level structure:


    • Gates (waves)
    • Gates Boss (Troll Matriarch or Ghost Bride)
    • Graves (waves)
    • Graves Boss (Grave Caretaker or Pumpkin King)
    • Mausoleum Boss (Ghost of Skuld)


  • Only large minions must be killed to advance each wave, and waves can advance if you take too long.
  • Numerous pacing/timing adjustments to the zone structures.
  • The teleporter system has been reworked for ease of use and to avoid “trapping” players.
  • Plague Poison base damage increased by 200.
  • Resurrected Warrior’s Armor WIS changed from 20 -> 10.
  • Resurrected Warrior’s “Mystic Gem” proc now grants Energized.
  • Amulet of Dispersion has a new proc “Forgotten Power”.




[h2]Dungeon Changes[/h2]

Several dungeons are receiving changes. From a brand new boss fight in the Manor of the Immortals, to new Items and QoL changes to make the dungeons faster, we have it all.


    Manor of the Immortals Changes

  • Lord Ruthven boss fight has been reworked.
  • Main branch length reduced by 10%.
  • Sub-branch length reduced by 37%
  • The 4x4 bookcase structure now has a chance of containing a Coffin.
  • A new type of treasure room can appear at the end of sub-branches.
  • Lil Feratu can now spawn in the dungeon generation.
  • Armor Guards and Hellhounds can now drop Bone Dagger.


[h3]Undead Lair Changes & New Items[/h3]

  • A new item, Wandering Souls Spell (by UGC member Tyii) now drops from Septavius the Ghost God.
  • A new item, Ring of Skeletal Specters (by UGC member Mathician) now drops from the Lair Spectral Skeleton.
  • Main branch length reduced by 10%.
  • Sub branch length reduced by 16%
  • Lair Spectral Skeleton is significantly more common.
  • Reduced orbiting speed of outermost minions.


[h3]Puppet Master’s Theatre Changes[/h3]

  • Main branch length was reduced by 20%.
  • Sub-branch length reduced by 28%.
  • Damage reduced by 15 across most attacks.
  • Knight puppet shield effect changed from Armor Broken to Stunned.
  • The Archer puppet arrow effect changed from Paralyzed to Slowed.
  • Puppet Master and Clone yellow spinner effect changed from Paralyzed to Dazed.
  • Sorcerer puppet bombs have been adjusted for visibility.
  • Oryx Puppet artifacts no longer seek other faraway Oryx Puppets.


[h3]Fungal & Crystal Cavern Changes[/h3]

  • Main branch length reduced.
  • Only 20 crystals are required to open the boss room.
  • Ring of Decades has received a major drop rate boost.


[h3]The Shatters Changes[/h3]

  • The Forgotten King now grants a LIFE and MANA exaltation at a 100% chance, as opposed to an ATTACK exaltation.
  • Twilight Archmage’s ATTACK exaltation remains unchanged.


[h3]Known Issues[/h3]

  • We are aware of an issue where using Evolutionary Records on a Priest with default skin does not change the skin back after the transformation expires.
  • Exaltation Banner dungeon mods for The Shatters are not updated for the new exaltation spread and will only give ATT exaltations.
  • Halloween Costume UT armors have placeholder text descriptions.
  • T7 and other tiered rings have misconfigured dust reroll costs.
  • The missions “Penitentiary Grand Tour” and “Terrors of the Night” may sometimes not properly complete for players.
  • Veteran Beacon Guardians currently do not apply proximity health scaling.
  • Haunted Cemetery boss minions currently give incorrect EXP values.

We are getting closer and closer to Halloween. Now its time to have a look at all the upcoming changes, new shiny things and another look at the upcoming dungeon “Spectral Penitentiary”. [h2]Halloween Nexus returns![/h2]

  • Spectral Penitentiary will be released at the start of the season. A detailed list of its changes since the last Public Testing will be available later in the post.
  • Haunted Cemetery Reconstruction will be released at the start of the season.
  • A large amount of content, both seasonal and non-seasonal, as well as QoL and balances, will be released alongside the season start.
  • Some Halloween staples will be released 2 weeks after the season starts, at the beginning of the Halloween Event.


[h2]Seasonal Content[/h2]

  • New Halloween candies (enemy objects) spawn naturally in New Realms, and drop an assortment of goodies ranging from potions, bottles, T11 weapons, Soul Collector engravings, Halloween Costumes armors, and rarely Extreme Candies.
  • New Halloween costumes (UT armors) now drop from Candy objects in the Realm and from various bosses. Once in a while, you can wear the classic referenced skin and go trick or treating!
  • Halloween Bottles are back, with two new bottles added, the Pumpkin Bottle and the Frankenstein Bottle.
  • 3 new reskin Halloween event whites premiere this season:
  • Longbow of Spirits and Shadows
  • Shield of Jawgmur
  • Kagebooshi
  • Parasite Castle, Chamber, and Wine Cellar returns, with an updated drop table from Parasite Oryx 2 that includes the new event white reskins.
  • Soul Collector engravings allow you to improve the power of your T11 halloween weapons with a spooky spirit projectile.
  • 6 new Shiny UT items have been added.
