Patch Build 1.2.2

Hi all,

More fixes/improvements:

- Refactored code related to Skill Assignment on scene start
- Restructured Level Up sequence to improve efficiency and resolve a rare issue where the sequence could end up skipping and locking the level up process from restarting on subsequent level ups
- Bug Fix: Magnets, Boss Triggers and Blood Maiden's Crimson Cyclone will now pause soul consumption when level up is initialized, to prevent CPU overload/frame time glitches from re-initializing level up sequence potentially multiple times in a single frame
- Blood Maiden: Fixed a bug for Bloodquake Rank 3 from spawning extra flurry blades beyond the allowed amount
- Blood Maiden: Pooled and optimized the bloodquake static flurry ability to boost performance
- Fixed the text description for Pyromancer's Ability: Self Immolate
- Restructured the player animator controllers and states. refactored code related to the animator to prevent rare animation hitches and getting stuck in various states in rare circumstances

Patch Build 1.2.1

Hi All,

A few fixes coming to you in version 1.2.1:

- Blood Maiden: Refactored code relating to Crimson Cyclone and added a failsafe to force soul collection/xp gain back on if somehow disabled during gameplay
- Shadow Monk: Refactored code relating to the Combos to resolve possible conflicts when multiple sources of input are connected to the PC
- Bug Fix: Treasure chest indicator icon will no longer point to an empty location on the map
- Bug Fix: Ebon King should no longer be allowed to play any animation once he's transitioned to a death state
- Fixed some text formatting on the pause/level up menus
- Fixed some localization descriptions for talents for Japanese and Spanish languages
- Bug Fix: Tome of Knowledge for killing a final stage boss (Kalinov) with nightmare cloak will now be properly awarded

Version 1.2.0 - New Unlock + Daily Deal!

[p]We’re excited to share that version 1.2.0 of Keeper’s Toll is now live on Steam. This update brings a little new content, new options, and a handful of improvements based on player feedback.[/p][p][/p][h3]New Unlock: The Dusk Knight[/h3][p][/p][p]For players who enjoy the Bogatyr class, you can now unlock a new skin: The Dusk Knight. This version of the Bogatyr offers a faster, more aggressive playstyle with a modified quick strike and a full reskin of abilities.[/p][p][/p][p]How to unlock: Max all talents on the Bogatyr, and the Dusk Knight will become available as a playable option.[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]There's a new Uncommon Merchant item, the Sunforged Talisman, to be found only while playing as the Dusk Knight.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Dual Stick/Mouse Controls for All Characters[/h3][p]We’ve expanded the dual stick/mouse aim control scheme so it’s available to every class, not just the Ranger. While this doesn’t change abilities into free-aim like the Ranger, it does give more control over directional attacks for those who prefer this style. You can now maintain movement and face direction independent of one another. You can enable this control style in the Options Menu by checking the box labeled Dual Stick Controls. By default, it is off.[/p][p][/p][h3]Quality of Life and Bug Fixes[/h3][p]Version 1.2.0 also includes various quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes to help smooth out gameplay.[/p]
  • [p]Revised menu navigation so buttons/text will now properly highlight/unhighlight based on active input source, allowing you to swap inputs with ease and maintain proper navigation throughout the User Interface[/p]
  • [p]Optimized Rain Particle System. Boosted performance, efficiency and fixed a rare memory access error[/p]
  • [p]Bug Fix: Treasure Snail speed is now clamped and will properly deactivate after a specific amount of time when retreating from the player[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some import settings that were incorrect on a handful of sprites[/p]
  • [p]Object pooling for some of Bogatyr's attacks to boost performance[/p]
  • [p]Bogatyr - Tempest – removed some invalid references on the sprite animation[/p]
  • [p]Player sprite will no longer flash red while getting hit if invulnerable[/p]

Patch Build 1.1.14

Hi All,

Got a new patch build for KT. A bunch of fixes/optimizations:

Patch Notes (v1.1.14)
- Bug Fix: Bogatyr Retaliation - added a check against hit enemy to avoid rare instance of enemy returning null
- Chancellor Autlaic: pooled enemy spawns resulting in less memory churn and slight performance boost
- Physics updated to be more acccurate for all boss encounters
- Bug Fix: Starting Dialogue in Castle Usvit with Kalinov will no longer automatically end a run unless proper conditions are met
- Bug Fix: If pumpkin event is deactivated, the on-screen indicator icon will no longer display
- Bug Fix: Blood Maiden Blightflies passive will only trigger if passive skill rank is 1 or higher
- Bug Fix: Necromancer - Fixed a loop in some code for Gravelord's Revenge that could prevent the fist from performing a double smash attack
- Boss: Bloodsap - seed projectile speed has been adjusted and physics improved
- Code Refactoring
