Infantry Beta Update

Just a couple of bug fixes...

1. Reworked the night vision goggles so that the red threat circles on the TSD are now visible. You'll still need to turn off the map to see them otherwise the screen will be too bright.

2. Fixed the pilot camera position in the Apache '88

Infantry Beta Update

This update adds the following...

1. Separated mouse look and joypad look speed options so you can set them independantly from each other in the Control Settings menu under Camera Control

2. Control inputs are no longer sent to the game if the window loses focus i.e. if you switch to another application.

3. Pulling up the main menu mid-mission will now prevent the main camera from rotating. However, if you simply pause the game then camera rotation will still work allowing you to move the camera for screen shots etc.

4. Added in a combined Targeting Pod & TSD/Radar cursor control in the Control Bindings under Weapons & Targeting. This allows you to control the Targeting Pod or TSD/Radar cursor with a single axis (or buttons) depending on which MFD screen currently has focus.

5. Added in a combined Targeting Pod & TSD/Radar Lock button which allows you to lock either the targeting pod or radar/tsd depending on which MFD screen currently has focus.

6. Got rid of some old code and log spam which might gain a few fps

Infantry Beta Update

This update adds the following...

1. Initial setup screen where you can choose your starting flight model. If you have already setup you flight model just the way you like then click "CUSTOM" and nothing will be changed.

This screen only appears once.

2. Reworked the layout of the mission briefing screens so that you now have a deployment point bar at the top of the screen showing the total for the mission, how many you've spent and how many are remaining.

3. Removed the MFD screen surround on the mission planning screens so there is a bit more room for the deployment point bar. I'll probably get rid of the surround completely as it does take up quite a bit of room and I'm not sure if I really like it anyway!

This update is also the end of the temporary DLSS/FSR beta as everything is now merged into the Infantry Beta.

Infantry Beta Update

This update adds FSR3 and DLSS support into the infantry beta.

You can select which upscaler you want to use in the Video Settings and selcting your option from the Anti Aliasing & Upscaling drop down.

There's a number of options for the upscalers plus you also choose SMAA, DLAA & FSRAA as anti-aliasing only options if you don't want to use the upscalers.

DLSS/DLAA are nVidia only options - if you do choose them and you don't have a compatible GPU then it will fall back to SMAA.

FSR3 should work on any GPU.

FSR & DLSS Beta Update

This update adds the following...

1. Night Vision mode is back. I had to rebuild it in the new post processing system. Looks ok to me, feedback as always welcome ːsteamhappyː

2. Mouse wheel now zooms the mission planning map again

3. Clamped the maximum verticle speed of infantry when hit by explosions. Should stop the "raining men" issue when hitting them with rockets when unloading from their vehicles.
