Update Patch: New Adjustments, Fixes, and Parry System!

A new update for Maiden Cops has arrived, bringing a series of improvements, bug fixes, and a new defense mechanic. We want to thank everyone for your continued support and feedback that help us keep improving the game. Here’s the full list of changes:

Changelog:
1. Adjustments to collectible items – We’ve added more health-restoring items in the stages to help during intense battles.
2. Improved defense system – The defense command is now detected in more animation states, ensuring a more responsive input.
3. Visible cheats during gameplay – Active cheats now appear in the bottom left corner of the GUI, making it easier to keep track of them during the game.
4. Max’s hitbox collision detection fix – Max’s attacks have been adjusted to ensure better accuracy.
5. Biker enemy Dulas helmets – No longer deal damage to the protagonists upon collision.
6. Grenades in Maiden Stadium – Fixed the behavior of grenades, they no longer chase the player.
7. Black screen bug fix – Resolved the issue that caused a black screen when returning from the tutorial via the Menu → Title Screen option.
8. Destructible objects (handrails) – Now disable their colliders when destroyed.
9. Weapon cheat fix – Fixed a bug where weapons would disappear after being thrown three times, even with the "weapons don’t lose charge" cheat active.
10. Grab time on bosses – Increased the time that protagonists can hold bosses. Bosses Vitória and Marine now have a chance to break free as part of their abilities.
11. Buffs for Nina and Priscila – Their attacks, grabs, and specials have been strengthened to make them even more powerful.
12. Thrown character bug fix – Protagonists can no longer be hit while in the "lying down" animation after being thrown.
13. Increased respawn time for enemies during boss fights – Enemies now take longer to respawn during boss encounters.
New Parry System
Now you can activate Parry to perform counter-attacks! By blocking at the right moment, near an enemy's strike, your character will counterattack, dealing damage and becoming invulnerable for a brief moment. Plus, you’ll gain energy for special attacks.

"We are working on adding this new feature to the game's tutorial in a future update."

We want to extend our thanks to everyone for the amazing support so far. Every piece of feedback is crucial in helping us improve Maiden Cops.
