Early Access is live now!

Hey all!

I'm happy to share that Havendock is live in Early Access now!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Compared to the demo version, there's much more to discover in the research tree - new buildings, resources, islands! I will also continue to update the game with new content. In fact, that is why I need as much feedback from you all as possible. This is crucial to help me adjust priorities and decide what to develop next for you. That is why I have opened the experimental branch that contains a bunch of additional content that is still extremely early in development. Anyone can opt in and let me know what you think!
Here's a peek at some of the experimental content:
Please share with me your ideas - be it something you want to see in Havendock, suggestions for improvements, I would really like to hear about them. If there are any issues you want to report, you can come over to Discord or the Steam forum and share your thoughts! 🙂 There's still a lot of things to be improved and many directions to be explored.

I still have a lot of ideas and this is why I created this Notion page. My development process is open - you can see what I'm already working on I try my best to compile a list of what you players have suggested there! The game isn't perfect and there are some things that I want to add, like inter-island resource transportation. I hope that you give me time to work on these.

I have also added an experimental multiplayer mode and it received way more attention that I thought it would have, I am keeping it because I understand some players might want to try but it is highly experimental and very early in development, please consider not to try it if you think it can affect your experience. There are a lot of bugs, including serious ones. Because of how challenging multiplayer is, it will take time for me to work through them. If you are concerned, you can take a look at a list of some of the known issues here.

If you've read this far, I really want to thank you for your support and I hope you enjoy Havendock!

Why Early Access

Hi, Settlers!

We're only 2 days from Havendock's Early Access launch 🎉
🏝️ But what's the reason behind the Early Access release?
Despite Havendock being playable from start to finish, I think Early Access is the best way to expand it! I want Havendock Early Access to be a lively time inspired by your experience and feedback. There are plenty of ways to expand and fun directions for us to explore in the game. I try to update it often and keep adding new ideas. Your experience with Havendock lets me know what you like, what you want to see more of, and how to improve. This wouldn't be possible without Early Access!
Hopefully Havendock will come out of Early Access in 2024 – but time will tell when we’ve all run out of ideas. I want to create much more fun content inspired by Early Access for the full version.
🌊 What can you expect from Havendock's Early Access?
Havendock is a fully playable single-player with highly experimental online co-op for up to 16 players. You can build your town on the ocean, recruit new settlers, keep them happy and healthy, research new technology, farm, fish, cook, disco, build infrastructure, and explore islands and the ocean floor for new resources to scale up your base and increase production. There is more polish, balancing, and content for me to create and fully round out the experience.
⛵ The community is crucial to the development process!
The Havendock community is a big part of what I do, and I spend a lot of time sharing what I'm working on, listening to feedback, and making improvements. If you want to become a part of it, join me on Discord, QQ (487831527), and the Steam forums!
You can also see what I'm up to on my Notion page.

Thank you for reading! See you on April 20th in Havendock!
