Forests of Brandenburg - Expanding the location

The "Forest Shadows" update will take you into the thickets of Brandenburg! The woodlands will surely help you cope with the heat of the summer.

New mission - Wald

The Battle of Seelow Heights took place in April 1945 and it played a major part in the encirclement of Berlin. We drew inspiration from these events and the unique landscape to create a new area for a large-scale confrontation between the German and Soviet forces, combining three distinctive sections: a dense forest, a heavily fortified outskirts and the streets of a mid-20th century German town.

In the forest areas, you'll have to take advantage of the rough terrain to fight your way to enemy positions, while overcoming bunkers and trenches hidden by the undergrowth.

On the outskirts of the town, it becomes clear that the network of fortifications was meant to hold back the enemy’s advance not only in the wooded areas, but also in the open fields.

A small German town from the middle of the 20th century - with its own peculiarities, such as anti-tank guns on the outskirts.

Back to the surrounding areas: even before the war, this town was protected by nature. Traveling through such landscapes was hardly without accidents, so when the war arrived, these ravines became a real challenge for the enemy. How do you push through an area where the fire could come from under any rock?

Late-war missions will bring variety to the confrontation between the German and Soviet forces: rough terrain, multiple fortifications, and urban areas encourage aggressive and swift actions.

For a short while after the update's release, the chance of getting these missions will be increased.

Share this news on social media and show everyone where you're planning to escape from the busy rhythm of the city this summer - the forests of Brandenburg are waiting for you!

Weapons and vehicles of the "Forest Shadows" update

The cool shade of a tree in the scorching summer heat is invaluable ... but what could be better? The summer update of Enlisted!

Today we present to you the novelties of the "Forest Shadows" major update!

Some of them are designed to masterfully utilize the features of the forest terrain, turning every tree into a potential trap. While others are meant to ruthlessly smoke the enemy out from the dense thickets where they hoped to find cover.

The forest can become your ally or your grave - the choice is yours! All of the weapons and vehicles below will be available in the research tree!

USSR
PPSh-41 (S) (BR V)
The Soviet PPSh-41 submachine gun with an unusual modification that makes it possible to take down enemies silently. The massive silencer transforms the gun’s characteristic sound into a muffled whisper, allowing soldiers to easily set ambushes. Happiness loves silence, especially when it comes with a rate of fire of 1150 rounds per minute and a 71-round drum magazine.

Germany
Bfw. Jagdpanther G1 (BR V)
The command variant of the legendary tank destroyer. The Jagdpanther G1 is not just a simple war machine, it dominates the battlefield. Its sloped frontal armor can easily bounce incoming shells and the coaxial MG34 machine gun will be your guardian angel against the infantry.

Time to hunt!

USA
M36 GMC (BR V)
Can't penetrate the armor of the "big cats"? Worry not, the Slugger is here to help you! This self-propelled anti-tank gun was designed specifically to hunt the most dangerous predators of the battlefield.

Its 90 mm M3 cannon easily penetrates 150+ mm of armor at a distance of 100 meters.

The hunter becomes the prey - the roles are reversed.

Japan
М2 Carbine sawoff (BR V)
Compact and very effective modification of the M2 Carbine with a 30-round magazine and 8.3 damage! Combined with its rate of fire of 750 rounds per minute, it can transform into a real tornado that sweeps away enemies in close combat. The missing front sight also hints at this. Why aim when you can simply spray the area with lead?
Ki-100 (BR III)
Type 5 fighter - behind this modest designation lies a true predator of the skies: the Kawasaki Ki-100. It has outstanding maneuverability and versatile armament: two 20 mm cannons, two 12.7 mm machine guns and a pair of 250kg bombs. Who will you intimidate this time - the enemy infantry or your rivals in the sky? The choice is yours!
N1K2-J (BR V)
Achieving victory on the ground is only half the battle. The N1K2-J "Shiden-Kai", also known as the "Violet Lightning", with its four 20 mm cannons will ensure your air superiority, while the two rockets will keep the infantry in check. Strike your enemies like lightning!

250th Anniversary of the U.S. Armed Forces

The history of the U.S. Armed Forces dates back to June 14, 1775. On this day, the Second Continental Congress voted to establish the Continental Army to provide for the defense of the colonies and coordinate military efforts against the British forces during the American Revolutionary War.

George Washington was appointed as the army’s first commander-in-chief. Initially, the army was composed of volunteers from the colonies, united under a single command.

Today, the U.S. Armed Forces consist of six military service branches: the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard and the Space Force (established in 2019). The founding day is considered an important milestone in the country's military history.

Into battle!

Commanders, we are in full swing preparing for Enlisted's summer update and today we'll tell you about two new features that were on our roadmap!

Preferred missions system

Don't like a mission in a particular mode? Give it a dislike and you will encounter it less often! Keep in mind, this applies to all variations of that mode.

Likes on missions are also very important! With them, we'll be able to track which mission and mode combinations you enjoy the most and take your preferences into account when developing and improving missions.

Desertion penalty system

Players leaving the battle before it’s over is a serious issue. Not only do such players show a lack of fighting spirit, they also ruin matches for others.

Along with the introduction of the preferred missions system, a desertion penalty system will also be added. Commanders who leave battles before they end will not only receive less experience and silver per battle, but also a 20% penalty on the rewards of their next two battles. This penalty will not apply to custom matches.

You can leave a match without penalty when your team runs out of respawn points.

Good luck on the battlefield, commanders!
