Spinning Wheel Hotfix

Happy New Year, Motorsport Fans! 🄳 We hope you had wonderful holidays! ✨

To kick off 2025, we've prepared a neat little update for you. This hotfix (build version 250109_b2843fa9 on Windows and 250113_b2843fa9 on Mac) resolves issues causing the spinning wheel loading animation to get stuck on screen when you load a saved career with mods. With this update, any save data affected by this issue should now load seamlessly.

If the spinning wheel loading animation is still getting stuck for you even after installing this update, please reach out to our team directly via email or on Discord, and we'll look into your issue ASAP.

Part Builder Hotfix

Following yesterday's update, some players reported difficulties with building new parts or that parts could be built for free. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. This hotfix (build v241213_97364011) addresses and resolves these issues. We hope you have a fantastic weekend! šŸŽ‰

  • a complete overhaul to the Team Member Market; teams will now pick their members based on their current position in the leaderboard (the first team picks first, the second team picks second, etc.)
  • at the start of next season you can now secure the team members from the previous season
  • you can now save and quit during the team member selection during pre-season
  • AI drivers now turn engine mode Push more often and try to use up most of their fuel
  • more improvements to overtake logic

  • added Turkish localization
  • fixed issues with French and German localization
  • small fixes and improvements across all localizations

  • added team BFC textures to the BaseMod (BFC was previously available in the alpha preview of Golden Lap)
  • improved handling of drivers with the 'DecadeStartContent' value set to true
  • you can now set the 'DecadeStartContent' value for modded engineers and crew chiefs
  • improved AI decision making when hiring drivers for modded teams
  • improved animations for modded teams

  • the in-game feedback form no longer remains stuck on screen in certain cases
  • fixed the "super driver bug" (where the stats of some drivers change after restarting the game)
  • drivers in their Last Year now retire at the end of a season even if they were not on a team

  • fixed issues with Golden Tune sponsor challenges not being awarded in certain cases
  • fixed Tuning Master trait working only in first race weekend of the season
  • fixed issues with Exacting and Sloppy Crew Chief traits

December 5 update

šŸ“¢ This week we're continuing with the changes to the overtake functionality. In addition to more improvements during the Qualifying, this update will reduce the likelihood of extremely slow "trains" forming during the Race while still keeping overtakes challenging.

šŸ™ Thanks to the bug reports you sent us, we were also able to resolve some issues with the new Tune and Send Out functionality in the Qualifying. As a result, the feature is now part of the main game.
