EA Hotfix 7 - Controller fixes

  • Fixed a bug where generic ability damage on weapons did not apply to spells. This is a buff
  • Fixed a bug where the Mirror Entity would rob Arcanists of their Fire Elemental. What a jerk!
  • Fixed a host of key rebinder issues, particularly on the controller
  • Fixed a controller issue when checking Nightmare details in the Nexus
  • Fixed a bug where you would not be able to exit the Echo Forger menu on a controller
  • Fixed a bunch of issues with the Codex and Game Guide on the controller. Sensing a theme yet?
  • Fixed a bug where the controller would not select the Conjuror tab on the skill tree
  • Fixed a few items that would prevent inventory navigation when selected on a controller
  • Fixed a memory leak with Avatar of the Night
  • Fixed a few bugs where the Challenge area could get you stuck with "Challenge HP". I'm aware that the Dodge challenge may have some bugs. If you run into this, send a report and let me know what you were doing at the time!

EA Hotfix #6 - Stability + Controller Improvements

  • Entirely re-wrote the tooltip positioning logic for items and skill trees. This should improve visibility substantially on handhelds and other low-res devices. As always, let me know! There are far more resolutions than I can reasonably test on, so feedback and screenshots help a lot
  • Added optional tooltips to skills in-run. If you find this annoying, there's an option to turn it off
  • Fixed a major issue triggered by entering secret areas under certain conditions
  • Fixed a major issue that causes strange behavior rarely when a Boss Ghost disappears, or you end a run with an active Boss Ghost, or you entered a Challenge
  • Fixed a series of major issues with buff expiration. Hopefully this will fix various issues, such as Lunar Howl ceasing to function randomly in a run
  • Enabled one T2 unique
  • Fixed the modifier tags on the Entropy-themed uniques
  • Fixed a bug where the Ascalon skills were applying after multipliers and conversion, rendering them far weaker than they should have been
  • Fixed a bug where Rune Blast was not charging Runic Blade. You had one job, Rune Blast!
  • Fixed a bug where the Infinity ultimate was not tripling the effect of Mana spent in some conditions
  • Improved Wolf Avatar AI a bit

EA Hotfix 5

  • Fixed some UI issues caused by Crafter and Echo Forger bugs
  • Added 2 secret levels
  • Added 2 Tier 0 Uniques
  • Added 2 new Echo Forger nodes to the Exploration NPC
  • Heavily buffed the stats of most Memory Crystal mods
  • Reduced the time to unseal Memory Crystal mods by 50-75%, depending on the mod
  • Fixed a mod issue on the Elemental Core unique
  • Fixed a bug with reward generation
  • Removed damaging ailments upon entering a Challenge area
  • Fixed a bug where the Exp -> Gold conversion modifier wasn't working properly
  • Fixed a potential DRM issue when Steam connection is lost

EA Hotfix #4

  • Fixed a major performance bug caused by a specific item dropping in Nightmare. If you were seeing FPS dips, this should fix it!
  • Fixed a bug causing all Nightmare chests and monster rewards to give unique items
  • Fixed a very ancient bug causing Unique reward chests to always give multiple copies of the same item
  • Added one T0 Unique - Erebus' Unwavering Punishment
  • Added one T3 Unique - Explorer Tongs

EA Hotfix #3

Hi again everyone! Thanks a ton for all the love and feedback for the game, it really warms my heart as a solo dev to see my passion project get so much attention. I hope you're all having fun, and don't forget to let me know if anything can be improved or is bugging you.

This hotfix mainly focuses on fixing major reported issues from player feedback, along with improving a few systems.

I'll likely be looking at the Arcanist earlygame soon, in hopes of making starting with her a bit easier.

  • Increased Call of Erebus' Minion Damage Multiplier buff from 10% to 30% per skill level
  • Increased the values of various Beastmaster Taming passives, as they felt unimpactful
  • Added an additional option to the Shrine of Charity
  • Added an additional option to the Shrine of Indifference
  • Fixed a snapshotting bug where Avatar of Vengeance was often ignoring your Minion Damage Multiplier stat. If you use this ability, expect your DPS to increase 2-5x depending on your build and items
  • Buffed the NPC exploration passives to be doubly effective
  • Removed some very obnoxious screen flashes when using Arcanist summons
  • Improved the animations of the Water Elemental Bubble and Bee Spike projectiles
  • Fixed a softlock caused by removing 2 modifiers under certain situations
  • Fixed one Challenge mode softlock
  • Fixed one game loading softlock
  • Improved some "click the mouse to do the thing" indicators
  • Fixed some missing Exploration tree text
  • Fixed an instance of boss life bars sticking on your screen after Challenge mode failures
  • Fixed some text errors with the Rune Spiral skill's upgrades
  • Moved the stash to a less prominent location, as it isn't used between every run
  • Fixed various descriptions and spelling errors
