Isopod Update 4 - November 20

Hi Everyone,

Just a small fixe while we work on the next update which will include the new and improved game map!

  • Fixed a bug that was causing Winston to fall eternally through fire.
  • Added an FPS cap option to the display settings patch.
  • Fixed gamepad camera sensitivity and inversion settings.
  • Retail Therapy and Track Rivalry achievements should now trigger correctly upon loading existing saves that have fulfilled their requirements.

Isopod Update 3 - November 4

Hi everyone!
We've just pushed a new patch focused on fixing some crashes, soft locks, and achievements. Here's the full change log:

- Removed corrupted data in our quest system that was causing major crashes on save and load during the final mission.
- Fixed player sometimes respawning in the wrong place after load during the final mission.
- Fixed some achievements not registering correctly in saves that have already completed the achievements requirements.
- Conversely, fixed some achievements being granted on load for players that haven't completed the requirements.
- Fixed a situation where you could get stuck falling forever in the bushfire.
- Fixed a rare bug that prevented the player entering Bellport. (If you're stuck here, just go to the spot marked on the map outside Bellport and it should continue correctly.)
- Patched a hole in the edge of the wasteland invisible walls that let players skip straight to the final mission and broke their saves. (Sorry speed-runners! We still love you!)
- Prevented previously completed tasks sometimes being added back to the player journal
- Fixed input settings not displaying correctly when opening the page, giving the appearance that the input settings were not being saved.
- Added an arrow to the player icon on the map to help with orientation.
- Added the ability to zoom the map in and out with the mouse wheel (We're still working on gamepad controls, full map overhaul coming next!)

As always, if any of these issues are still occuring for you after updating, please let us know!

Many thanks,
Riley

Isopod Hotfix 2 - October 27

[p]Hey everyone,[/p][p]We've just pushed a new hotfix for the following issues:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where it was possible to skip a dialogue in the cosmic web and enter an invalid quest state during the magnet drive quest.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed 2 softlocks during the burning treetops sequence. Save files that were in a state of perpetual falling during this section should now be fixed.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed foliage dancing like crazy on some AMD graphics cards. Also added a DX11 launch option for AMD users who are experiencing black speckles on the landscape in DX12.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some pot and junk collectables that were despawning when the player got close to them as some sort of cruel temptation.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a quest task description that was supposed to be hidden instead being shown to the player and confusing everyone. What does GSTS Task even mean??[/p]
[p]We're also aware of a crash that is occurring for some players trying to resume play after completing the game and are actively working on a fix for that and some other issues. More patches to come soon!

Cheers,[/p][p]Riley[/p]

Isopod Hotfix 1 - October 22nd

Hey everyone!
We've just pushed a hotfix for the following issues:

  • Fixed black screen bug that sometimes occurred during or immediately after the Harvester fight.
  • Fixed a checkpoint that incorrectly caused the player to respawn underground. The checkpoint now respawns you above ground, and if your existing save has you spawning here, there is now a spring pad that will launch you back above ground.
  • Fixed Spanish translation incorrectly showing Portuguese task descriptions.
  • Fixed an issue where French was using the Spanish achievement translation and Spanish was using German.
  • Fixed an issue where the player would bounce off the harvester core instead of destroying it on especially low framerates.
  • Added some extra stairs in a couple of places.
  • Added some temporary keyboard inputs for mouse controls while we work on full keybinding:
    - Movement can now also use the arrow keys
    - Magnet drive can also use Z or <
    - Attack can also use X or >

If any of these problems are still occurring for you after updating, please let us know! There are still a few other issues we'll be addressing in the near-term that we weren't able to fix today, and we really appreciate your patience.
Thanks so much for all your support, it's wonderful to see so many people enjoying this silly little bug game that we've poured so much into!

Cheers,
Riley
