Esoteric Ebb - First Draft Playtest live now!
Hey, I'm Christoffer Bodegård. I'm the developer of ESOTERIC EBB, a weird isometric CRPG about a cleric and a goblin unraveling a political conspiracy. It's finally time for the First Draft Playtest!
I'm calling this a first draft for a simple reason: I want as much sincere and open feedback as possible. The playtest contains nine characters, three quest branches to complete, and three areas to explore. The dialogs collectively amount to about 50k words, which is a lot! Especially this early in development. But I felt it was necessary to give a proper taste into this strange world I'm putting together, and to see exactly how you will react to it.
I hope you'll find it, at the very least, highly interesting.
So go ahead! Delve into this tiny corner of a sprawling river-island-fortress, set in the heart of the metropolis called Norvik. Try out the spells. Talk with the weird inhabitants. Steal some stuff. Let me know if it's fun and don't forget to pet the cat.
