After five years in the making and a successful Kickstarter campaign, the highly-anticipated sequel to Forgotton Anne is nearly here. Throughline Games has officially revealed that Forgotlings will launch on the 12th of June for Steam, and is expected shortly after on other platforms. To celebrate, a brand-new Release Date Trailer has been unveiled today, giving players a deeper look at the game’s breathtaking world & cinematic 2D handcrafted storytelling.

In Forgotlings, players take on the role of Fig, a charismatic posing doll navigating a fractured world to unite five forgotling tribes. Forgotlings are sentient lost objects longing to rediscover their purpose as a Beast threatens to destroy the Forgotten Lands. As he explores lush forgotten landscapes, battles enigmatic foes, and uncovers ancient secrets, Fig must determine his place in a world where memories are power.


With stunning hand-drawn visuals, a haunting score featuring renowned choir ensemble Theatre of Voices, a deep narrative with choice mechanics, and an expansive, action-packed world, Forgotlings builds upon its predecessor’s beloved storytelling while offering an entirely new, standalone experience.
