Hauntii News

[p]I've had to keep this secret for a long time but Hauntii is getting physical releases with Lost In Cult![/p][p]We've been working closely with them to create a package that holds true to the original vision of Hauntii.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Additionally, we have the Hauntii 2xLP vinyl with original artwork by yours truly and a track-list curated by our composer, Michael Kirby Ward. I personally am the biggest fan of Michael's music so what could I do but recommend this?[/p][p][/p][p]These are limited runs - head over to Lost In Cult's site to order your copy while they're still available![/p]

[h2]Steam Deck Verification[/h2]
It finally happened - Hauntii is verified for Steam Deck! It's always been optimized to play well on Steam Deck, but there were a few minor issues preventing it from being verified until now.

[h2]New Build[/h2]
While preparing a new build for Steam Deck, we also added a number of minor fixes and tweaks. These are mostly audio improvements and a few bug fixes. Version 5.4.16

[h2]Independent Games Festival[/h2]
We were so happy to see that Hauntii won the Excellence in Visual Art award at IGF this year! Thank you judges that is awesome. We've added the badge to to the store page : )


[h2]Gamescom Latam[/h2]
And finally, we have a booth currently at Gamescom Latam in Brazil! If you saw us there leave a comment hehe.
We're grateful to have received four award nominations from Brazil Independent Games Festival!


[h2]Upcoming[/h2]
Next up in the works for Hauntii are some improvements for mouse & keyboard input. I'm aware there are some hauntables that have a frustrating experience with this control scheme (I'm lookin at you, sandwhales)

To celebrate, we're also uploading the first of a series of "Hauntii Music Collections" on our Moonloop Youtube channel. These feature curated music from the game with footage carefully selected by the dev (me)! I may be a bit biased in saying, but it's one of the best playlists on Youtube for chill (and slightly haunting) music.

Lastly, Hauntii has been nominated by IGF (The Independent Games Festival) in the category Excellence in Visual Art. Wish us luck!

Spooky season is here!
We're pleased to finally share with you what we've been working on these past few months.



This update has:

• A new 'stage map' that shows an overhead view of your current stage
  
• Ability to teleport between discovered checkpoints
  
• An brand new Autumn-themed stage
  
• New hauntable creature
  

Additionally we've done some minor bug fixes and audio tweaks.
