Territory – Alpha 6.14.1 – Fixes

  • AI and resources spawning under water

  • If player was in water when game saved they were not swimming when the game loaded

Territory – Alpha 6.14 – Crafting and Cooking Improves

I’ve started a very basic wiki on fandom. I’ve added all of the crafting and cooking recipes there as an easy reference to look up.
Soon I will create a basic technology tree that shows dependencies and how to progress in crafting and cooking.

  • Cooking equipment now also shows total fuel storage time remaining
  • Added seconds to cooking fuel timers

  • Reduced plant fibre burn time to 30 seconds
  • Chemical Station craft now costs 10 copper wire in stead of 10 copper ingots because it is now required much earlier in the game and copper is currently quite rare. This will be looked at again as resource harvesting develops further.
  • Cooking soil on the chemical station now requires 20 soil but you will also craft crude oil as well as nitrate. To get soil you need to craft a shovel on the crafting bench and dig the landscape.
  • Lead craft time increased to 60 seconds

Territory – Alpha 6.13 – Resource Harvesting Improvements

  • Improved all resource harvesting effects to be much more satisfying
  • Regenerated trees and rocks to get rid of the trees in rocks problem
  • Rebuilt stone nodes and regenerated their destruction meshes
  • Improved Stone and Metal pickaxe harvesting
  • Improved C4 and Grenade explosion effects
  • Reduced electrical cable mesh size
  • Staggered wind turbine blade rotation start on begin play so they’re not all synchronised
  • Compass now hides when build placement menu is up so they don’t overlap
  • Moved some other UI widgets to avoid overlaps

  • Context menu not clearing when not looking at actor
  • Context menu clearing too soon when looking at harvestable foliage
  • Issue with dropping incorrect weapon from dead body
  • Underwater post process effects not clearing in certain scenarios
  • Tree stump material too bright
  • Water volume not deep enough for lakes

  • Underwater breath holding time is now based on how much stamina you have when you enter the water. So if you are low on stamina (puffed out) and you dive under water you will only have about 10 seconds before you start drowning. You’re welcome.

    0 to 25 Stamina = 10 Seconds before start drowning
    25 to 50 Stamina = 20 Seconds before start drowning
    50 to 75 Stamina = 30 Seconds before start drowning
    75 to 100 Stamina = 40 Seconds before start drowning

  • Reduced amount of sulphur and iron ore harvested from stone nodes

  • Underwater post process effect issues when exiting water
  • Underwater post process effects stopping when swimming deep
  • Changed dust particles to prevent weird effects

Territory – Alpha 6.12.4 – Fix and Improve

  • Could not place electrical devices near bear traps
  • Some switching issues with lights
  • Animal grazing audio too loud
  • Lake and Ocean water level too low
  • First person camera underwater post process effects were not the same as third person camera
  • No spear throwing audio
  • Weird kick out animation when falling
