Territory – Alpha 6.18.5 – Fix, Improve and Balance

  • You can now punch trees for a chance to get a little bit of wood to assist in the early game

  • Reduced max AI spawn amounts for all zones
  • Improved all interaction code so you don’t have to look directly at items and equipment to pickup or interact with them when they are highlighted.

  • Some of the AI spawn region areas were incorrect size
  • Smoothed out some mountain areas that were too steep
  • Some weird looking clumps of foliage
  • Collision issues when harvesting some of the large boulders
  • Optimisation code for campfires and other items not detecting if player was dead
  • Fixed some player spawn points
  • Culled grass view distance to improve performance

  • Bears always looking to the left when they are walking straight ahead
  • Incorrect bear roam wait idle animation
  • Bear walk footstep audio out of whack
  • Improved all AI damage reactions to players and other AI classes
  • Item interaction focus not clearing on player death and leaving the “F” widget visible
  • Fixed missing unequipped ranged weapon socket for AI
  • Fixed item duping issues when picking up stacks of items and backpack weight calculation issues

  • Floating military watchtower
  • Item and furniture interaction outlines not visible

  • Leather Tanning time reduced from 30 to 20 minutes
  • All ammunition spawn chances increased slightly
  • Reduced chance of music track playing. In between musical tracks there is the ambient sound track and some periods of no music
  • Reduced amount of roaming AI spawns and pushed spawns further away from player so it’s not so busy and there's time for players to organise themselves in the early game
