Get ten of the most loved sandbox and FPS games for $1 each

We're spoiled for open-world games. In the last few months alone, we've had everything from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth to Dragon's Dogma 2 and Horizon Forbidden West hit PC. And yet, there's a long history of the genre well worth looking back on, which makes a new collection of notable sandbox and FPS games from Humble Bundle enticing - especially since all ten of the games included in the heavily discounted bundle, stretching from the first Red Faction to Saints Row IV, are only $1 USD each.

Saints Row IV - Re-elected Patch Notes

An update has been deployed for all PC platforms for Saints Row IV - Re-elected, see what has been fixed below:

FIXED

- "Missing DLC" prompt triggering upon entering game has been removed
- DLC Packages failing to load correctly has been fixed (affected DLC were: Thank you-Pack, Super Saints Pack, Team Fortress 2 (latter only available on Steam)
- Controllers not working has been adressed (verified for first party controllers only as we cannot vouch for every possible third party controller)
- Crash fixed - hovering mouse cursor over weapon inside the "Gateway Weapon Cache" sometimes causes game to crash
- Issue with Voice Chat has been fixed

CHANGES
- Cross Play Multiplayer Flow has been changed to reduce disruption by EOS for players on other platforms (As a reminder, crossplay functionality requires the use of EOS, this only occurs when players wish to use crossplay with users on other PC launchers)

As a reminder, this is the new flow:

• Newcomer downloads game via Steam
• EOS setup is started as a redistributable installer on Steam (no user interaction)
• On first start, the EOS bootstrapper will open a pop-up for updating
• In-game, when selecting the multiplayer option, no pop-up appears asking the user to link their account or continue with Steam account
• Player can launch a co-op game using a headless account
• This even allows cross-platform co-op through matchmaking
• If player wants to invite Epic friends, they can click on Link Account to link to their Epic account

The best PC games of 2013 - Saints Row IV

I was singing within the first fifteen minutes of playing Saints Row IV. Riding an airborne nuclear missile, belting out Aerosmith's '98 classic "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", my compatriots below bidding a final farewell to their fearless leader.

It probably sounded horrible. Not only because I'm completely tone deaf, but because I was also bellowing with laughter.

Volition's fourth and best open-world caper is a comedy masterpiece, managing to lampoon countless movies and games without missing a beat, and while it didn't exactly break any new ground with its mechanics or design, fun as they were, it's earned its spot as one of my Games of 2013 because it's so unrelentingly funny.

Saints Row IV – PC Crossplay now enabled + Free Upgrade

As we mentioned last week, crossplay is now live for Saints Row IV: Re-Elected across Steam, Epic and GOG Windows users! Your game should automatically upgrade to the Re-Elected version from whichever version you owned previously if you are on Windows, meaning if you didn’t already have all the DLC for the game – now you do!

We will update you all here when we have more news on the Linux version of this update.

Have fun in Steelport, Saints!

FAQ Does this include Gat Out of Hell?
No, Saints Row Gat Out of Hell was a separate release, it was included in a double pack with SRIV: Re-Elected once but this is not the standard release.

I am in AUS – why can’t I play with my friend in another country?
Saints Row IV: Re-Elected has different content due to ratings in AUS, so you can only play with others on the same version as you.

Is there a way I can stop the upgrade and keep my version of Saints Row IV as it is?
You can disable auto-update on GOG Galaxy if you have the game currently installed. (Cogwheel > Settings > Game features > Untick 'Auto-update games')
A Legacy Version of Saints Row IV will be also be available via a separate Beta Branch on GOG and Steam.
To access the old version of Saints Row IV, right click on the game in your library, go to properties > beta and use the dropdown menu to select the version you want.
for more help with this: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/276C-85A0-C531-AFA3
However the differences between old and new versions will be minimal, and save games will be compatible.

When will the Linux players get their upgrade?

We will update the community when we have a locked in date for this.

Can Linux players crossplay now or do they have to wait?

Official support will come for Linux later – we will let you know when this is going to be available.

Will Mods be affected?

Mods should not be affected, and should work as normal aside from any special cases where elements of the mod may clash with the code of the game.
